It happens, no landline available in my area except if I spend $10K to get poles to my lot. You are my savior and technical difficulties are my life! I get it, it's out of your control, but come back so I can lose weight AND be wildly entertained at the same time XD

I gave my Island a more realistic layout. Not as random even though this island is still pretty nice. I got 5 stars earlier today though I am still working on making it even better. I have an entire area that I turned into a forest. At first I didnt know what to do, but then I just started adding stuff around what I already had and it worked really well ( I think at least)

Even with time travel building a town like this takes hundreds of hours i wouldn’t say time travel is cheating just because you personally don’t agree with it. tting doesnt build and design your island for you.
I just hit 5 stars today; however my island is NOT as cluttered as many of the islands I see on this channel...I don't like the overly cluttered islands...they feel claustrophobic. I prefer having a more natural flow and open areas. This is still nice though!
I feel you I'm trying to do it by keeping my woods because what's an island without woods & forest area lol. Design the two main parts & my woods are like untouchable lol it's just the natural area

Like I got my main town area with a Central Park /Manhattan vibe...then another section of like "beach property" Malibu vibes...but my entire upper area is just woods and forest with paths and different things. It flows better that way! Alot of the islands featured on RUclips have ZERO "flow"....just a fact lol
I’m the same as you. My island is really nice looking (if I say so myself) but it is way more spread out than most of these. I even have sections of walking trails that are just natural elements like trees.
Her island is absolutely beautiful! I really love the placing of everything and how she used her weeds to decorate her island and make it feel more foresty. Brilliant! Amazing job with making an area dedicated to something fun and different!
It blows my mind every time when I see these video showcases. I have no idea how people can visualize what they want to do with their islands and find a flow to it.
OMG YES I hate symmetry so much. Because after looking at one side of their island I'm already bored lol. I only watch these 5 star tours to look out for repetitive themes and what hasn't been done a lot. And I absolutely hate chocolate bar layouts. (Basically every layout in the island is in a square or rectangle close to each other) And they don't even bother to change up the squares/rectangles into another shape to make each spaces look unique I get easily lost in their islands.
i spread my residents all across the island and maintain an island feel in a way, I don’t really like the cramming of a lot of these islands but at the same time, if I was putting this much time into the game, I would also be doing my best to fit everything I want into one island.
I have nothing against people who do it, but hopefully we can get some 5star island tours from people that haven't time traveled. I think it would be interesting to see how far some people have come in just 25ish days
I totally agree. Not that I have anything against time traveling but I would love to see this. I do not time travel because I want to be able to enjoy the game.
It makes me a little mad to see him not following the owner of the island, and just minding his own buisness without caring about the owner, because maybe owners have their own path to present their islands
i love the simplicity of this island. its not over done or has too much going on and u can tell the creator values the little details and it really shows. truly one of my favorite island tours

This one is one of my favs so far!! I do like this symmetrical, very clean islands but islands like this have so much more character and just seem so much more unique. The creator did an amazing job!!
for my islands or towns, i like a lot of open, running space on my paths. But there is definitely a unique charm to islands that are jam-packed with furniture/foliage/etc.. It's fun to see how players design spaces in a way that looks as if they are building around the foliage, or if foliage is built around the living space (if that makes sense)
You've created such a wonderful paradise. I'm even more pumped now to transform my island and move my villagers into more fitting spaces. This has been a marvelous inspiration for me

ooh I loved the little carnival area, the attention to detail was just so good, like the ringtoss and carnival games set up so you can win a goldfish was adorable
lol feelsbad I’m still 4 stars. Honestly though, for me it feels a little cluttered? Like yea there’s detail but it’s everywhere so you can’t really get a good line of sight. Usually in photography or art it’s nice to have things that lead to the point of interest. This island is a bit too much personally speaking but I do agree that they did a great job making micro environments everywhere.

Thank you for sharing! That island was absolutely gorgeous! The creator gave me quite a few ideas for natural things and for some of the first few DIYs I got in the game as well as many things to look forward to. Some of the natural areas even gave me a Studio Ghibli movie vibe or just a cute natural living. Well done!

Vivien Wu If you played pocket camp you get some goodies if you log in with your nintendo ID and follow some steps. I havent done it personally, but my bf did and there are some cute items:) Like a fortune cookie stand, campsite sign and those flags ++

We almost have the exact same island layout (with the heart pond) and I'm amazed how she decorated her island because I feel that this layout have so little space to work on because of the rivers and ponds and I think she didn't really change the original layout.
Does anybody have a link to where I can find some of these awesome custom paths? I love the deck looking one that she has for the outdoor gym. I can't seem to find a place where I can find good paths. I would make my own, but I literally don't have the creative capability lol
My favorite thing about this island is how much more doable it seems compared to some others. As beautiful and creative as it is, it makes me think, "Hey, with a little work I can make something that's just as nice!" instead of, "Welp, time to burn my island to the ground and never look back." It's inspiring rather than intimidating. Great job!

This island does has a lot goin on and I think that’s why I love it even more? There’s just so many trinkets and items placed everywhere which makes it super unique and I’m sooooo jealois

Thank you for saying what you did about not getting discouraged seeing all these amazing creations. I have not quite yet hit terra forming, and wonder if I should chill on worring about the placement of buildings/ residential areas until I get a feel of how it will work with the land options. My island while it has some cute spots is quite open and bare compared to these tours. I get a mix of feelings, excited, overwhelmed and inadequate hahah. I love this game and I love watching all your tours !!! So much inspiration thank you sir!

Vivien Wu If you played pocket camp you get some goodies if you log in with your nintendo ID and follow some steps. I havent done it personally, but my bf did and there are some cute items:) Like a fortune cookie stand, campsite sign and those flags ++

We almost have the exact same island layout (with the heart pond) and I'm amazed how she decorated her island because I feel that this layout have so little space to work on because of the rivers and ponds and I think she didn't really change the original layout.
Does anybody have a link to where I can find some of these awesome custom paths? I love the deck looking one that she has for the outdoor gym. I can't seem to find a place where I can find good paths. I would make my own, but I literally don't have the creative capability lol

My favorite thing about this island is how much more doable it seems compared to some others. As beautiful and creative as it is, it makes me think, "Hey, with a little work I can make something that's just as nice!" instead of, "Welp, time to burn my island to the ground and never look back." It's inspiring rather than intimidating. Great job!

This island is also heavily designed and crowded, but it doesn't feel too artificial and still rather natural. Well done in my opinion.
