You used the exact words I was thinking to describe this island: lived-in. Don't get me wrong, I love the neater, more planned islands as much as anyone, but something about this island is so appealing in a story-telling way. Like, I could assume that the picnic area would be somewhat abandoned, or that the beach-side restaurant is brand new. It makes you believe that this is an actual community. The time of day and year also lent to that vibe perfectly. It makes sense that this was inspired by an actual place since this reminds me very much of the village I grew up in; so nostalgic. Huge inspiration.

Really great island, it has a nice small-town feel to it. This tour then interview format is a good format to go with moving, assuming you speak the language of the creator and /or the creator wants to be interviewed.

I love this island! It feels so natural.Finally a Southern Hemisphere island that uses its weeds. I was feeling insecure because my island doesn’t have the usual pretty weeds seen on the northern hemispheres rn, but he used them really well!!!

Because this is undoubtedly the most stunning island I have ever seen so far. I am utterly impressed.

My island is still a wip...i just moved my buildings but now i wanna move them again and flatten my island bc this vid has inspired me...maybe when i get more bells and items and when the season starts to change i will completely flatten my island and terraform it exactly the way i want it..but for now i will work on my island as is...im going for a cute fairy forest island...This island has inspired me, especially with all the different kinds of areas with different items and the use of the bushes all over.

In new leaf people were using the dream suite for tours so they didn't have to meet the creator first, here in new horizon they have to be in contact to visit and usually they even follow said creator through the town so someone thinking "hey might as well talk with them and maybe do an interview" doesn't seem like that'd be too hard to think of and def not the kind of concept that originates from just one person. Concepts like this are almost non-existent in games anyway since usually people base themselves off real life stuff when creating in games. a good example for that is the double waterfall terraforming trick: a ton of people probably came up with that before they even got their hands on the game because it's such a simple (albeit good obv) concept yet some people were trying to say they did it first and others copied, kinda crazy) tl;dr I think people should stop trying to see who did what first when it comes to basic concepts and instead just appreciate how such simple concepts can evolve into their own unique little things
Creator: this is by far the most cohesive island I've seen. You and the Cherry Blossom/Pink islands are fabulous. I am super excited to add towards my forested areas and possibly (updating) my city center layout as well. Kudos!
I'm in absolute AWE over this island!!!! The way they balanced all the beautiful natural areas with more built up areas with the roads and stuff is just incredible. I could only dream of having this level of visual creativity!
This was truly magnificent. The blending of colors was just unreal. Loved every square of real estate. Each little little area was laid out so artfully!

I think it's better to do the interviewing whilst exploring the island like in your previous video rather than at the end because it gets straight to the point and makes the video shorter rather than dragging it out. Other than that, the island looks great and video is great too :)

Okay so I’ve only watched like 5 minutes and I can tell this person is a veteran New Leaf player by how the island is decorated. It’s so cluttered with natural things like shrubs, flowers, and rock patterns. It’s a style that’s super popular in ACNL and I LOVE it.

I know this is really random and not related to the island tour but if you don’t know how to get poster of your villagers, here’s how to do that. First you need to go to harvs island. Once you’re there go into one of harvs rooms and go into the design mode. Once you’ve done that you can press right on the d-pad and go to the villagers tab. (This also works with amibo cards) then you should be able to invite any villager you have on your island. Once you invite them leave Harv’s island and go back home. Once you leave the airport and go outside you should get a call from Harv and be able to buy any villager poster you want from nook shopping. If you don’t have amiibo cards, you can only buy the posters of villagers on your island. If this doesn’t make sense then just search “how to get posters of your villagers acnh” then you should get a better tutorial. Hope this helps.
This island has so many awesome ideas! I'm going for a very natural, forested country look and was having problems with some of my fencing and placement that I think I can now resolve. (Sorry, Isabelle, you won't be getting any big city bright lights on my island!) 💜💚💜💚
Ahhhhhh......when you are starting to love what you have done on your own island.....to instantly hate everything because you watched one of these amazing island tours....why do you do this to me?! I don't want to start over, it's taken too long as it is.....
To people that keep tearing down their islands: I think that might be why you're getting stuck! It's really hard to work from nothing. Maybe try building into the cliffs and structure you already have (or make some random ones if you already leveled them). Try randomly dropping your villager's houses and working AROUND them. Restriction breeds creativity!
on 11 minutes in and i already love it so much... honestly a fan of foresty islands (its the look im going for) so thanks to the creator for the inspo!!

I know this is really random and not related to the island tour but if you don’t know how to get poster of your villagers, here’s how to do that. First you need to go to harvs island. Once you’re there go into one of harvs rooms and go into the design mode. Once you’ve done that you can press right on the d-pad and go to the villagers tab. (This also works with amibo cards) then you should be able to invite any villager you have on your island. Once you invite them leave Harv’s island and go back home. Once you leave the airport and go outside you should get a call from Harv and be able to buy any villager poster you want from nook shopping. If you don’t have amiibo cards, you can only buy the posters of villagers on your island. If this doesn’t make sense then just search “how to get posters of your villagers acnh” then you should get a better tutorial. Hope this helps.

This island has so many awesome ideas! I'm going for a very natural, forested country look and was having problems with some of my fencing and placement that I think I can now resolve. (Sorry, Isabelle, you won't be getting any big city bright lights on my island!) 💜💚💜💚

To people that keep tearing down their islands: I think that might be why you're getting stuck! It's really hard to work from nothing. Maybe try building into the cliffs and structure you already have (or make some random ones if you already leveled them). Try randomly dropping your villager's houses and working AROUND them. Restriction breeds creativity!
