    I've heard your name mentioned on lots of backgammon channels, but this is the first time I've ever heard you speak. I think this was a great presentation. very clear, quick and no time wasted. I especially like that you use a real board, and not a computer screen.
    a lot of people are asking you for advice on 2nd turn follow up moves, and i agree. would really like to hear you talk about it.
    for example, I get second roll. both opponent's back men are unmoved. I am forced to choose between slotting either their 5 or 7 point. which is the best choice?
    as a new sub, I'm looking forward to more vids from you. best wishes!

    • @bgmochy
      @bgmochy  2 года назад +3

      Thank you for watching B.T. You don't start with the doublet, but if you do, 11 is make the 5p and the7p, 22 is make the 4p and the 11p, 33 is make the 5p and the 3p (or the 21p and the 10p), 44 is make the 20p and the 9p, 55 is make the 3p (13/3 twice), 66 is make the 18p and the 7p. I do not really like the 51 slot as the 5 does not give an extra builder. Furthermore missing the 32 and 43 other split moves as you play one split and one reverse split. So the opposite moves were not discussed. Also missing (aside of 51 slot) is the 62slot which is also interesting. Finally missing is 63 run which compared with some other moves is equally not bad.

    • @mil-fpv4931

    • @misterjrome
      @misterjrome 2 года назад

      @ryan luna
      you can't have a double to play on the first move because to decide who plays the first move, each player rolls a single dice and the player with the highest number plays first using the two numbers rolled. If both players roll the same number, the dice are rolled again until they roll different numbers.
