I'm researching this to add to my paver patio as I type, great video, very nice to see this in action. I'm trying to determine the best way to mount, either in ground or with concrete to my pavers. I think we can pull up the paver(s) that it needs to go on set those in 6-8" of concrete and then mount with the concrete mount, should look much cleaner imo.
I bought one. The color choice dictated price. I picked red and paid a $400 upcharge. I bought the $550 base with wheels. I was surprised that the wheels are small casters that will only roll on very smooth surface such as concrete or pavers. We love it so far but it's only the first week.
the umbrella is doing well, looks the same as when we bought it but that's because we keep it in its cover whenever not in use. Also, we just had to replace the cover because the sun was getting to it and it was starting to rip.
Another question, when you remove the umbrella for say end of season or high wind, is the black plate all that’s left on your deck or is the foot neck mechanism as well? Can that be easily removed along with the umbrella?
You can undo the bolts and be left with only the black plate or you can leave it bolted and remove the umbrella leaving the neck mechanism behind. I’d recommend taking down the entire umbrella and only leaving the black plate.
Super nice. Thank you for sharing! ✨💞

Man. I keep hoping you do a video on the workhorse pit. Great channel. Love your video.

Where did you get mounting plate, I would like to put on concrete. Also why 4 inch would not work, because bolts would pull out?
Ty good info.
Have you experienced any mold on the umbrella after it's been rained on and it has sat there for a while?
Hi, good info right when I need it. How has this held up since you made the video?
