      @@Allthingsdefender I've got a Disco 2 V8 but always enjoy some Defender content. I hope to be an older Defender owner soon.

    make sure to pack the ends of the rubbers with silicone to reduce the water ingress in to the doors

      @@ddnuk dumdum? What’s that. I’m not a mechanic so no idea what that is. I’m glad of comments like this so everyone can learn something including me.

      Butyl tape. It’s the black sticky stuff LR used to fill gaps in the bodywork to stop water ingress.
      Peel it off the roll mould it and stick it in the gaps between panels and fittings.
