    You should add a "Jazza's Choice" square on the wheel(s) so that you can either choose the painting you like best based on what topic you land on, or choose the topic you like best based on what painting you land on. Give yourself a little freedom and make it more fun for you.

    I grew up in auction houses and am still heavily in the auction and estate sale scene. Fun fact for the “what if the artwork is worth a ton of money” camp. That era is pretty much over. With everyone having access to the internet, finding these hidden gems is even more rare than before the internet. Even places like Goodwill in America check prices on eBay for every art piece like this that comes through the door. If it’s worth anything they’ll even list it online themselves. Most of these pieces end up ripped apart by people looking for hidden cash or only want the frames. And if you see certain authenticity stickers on the back. That’s a good indication they are fakes from the 1980’s sold at house parties. Just be careful and happy hunting!

    • @DjVortex-w
      @DjVortex-w 7 месяцев назад +34

      If it's just a printed-on-canvas cheap copy, then destroying it isn't much of a loss. It's sadder if someone does it to an actual painting, something someone actually created with their own hands.

    • @annbrookens945
      @annbrookens945 7 месяцев назад +8

      Those 1980s house party paintings were actual hand painted canvasses, just done in a shop turning out lots of quick "art".

    • @JS-yg6nv
      @JS-yg6nv 7 месяцев назад

      @@annbrookens945spot on! They were usually painting in South America. But they would sign the pieces with more well known artists. Some I’ve seen a ton of recently are signed “Cockx.” However, Marcel Cockx never painting in the styles I’ve obtained. So when pieces like the ones in this video are updated and repurposed I think it’s a great way to keep these artists’ original work alive and outside the bargain bin.

One of the first things you learn when coloring with friends as a kid is to not color on other peoples’ crayon drawings. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Everyone is different I guess and apparently it’s no biggie. Looks great though and the final result is awesome ❤

      I guess if you buy a picture you own it basically and are free to do whatever. It does look uneasy for me as well, but I think it’s okay, and it turned out interesting

    I sung “into the west” at my mother’s funeral. She deserved the best send off I could think of, and this song perfectly harnessed my thoughts of my mother. Your painting was a masterpiece which was a pleasure to behold as I think of her.😢❤

    Imagine he just goes back to the thrift store and he tries to sell the paintings back to the thrift store.

    I had the exact same thought as you about the western shore as soon as you spun LOTR. Thrilled w how it came out and absolutely love this thrift store series!

    Excellent work as always Jazza. One question that comes to mind is how you as an artist feel about taking a completed work by someone else and transforming it. Do you think that artist would be bothered? How would as an artist feel if someone else did that with one of your works? Not being critical, but just genuinely interested to hear your thoughts.

    I honestly loved the transformation of the first one. It made it look so much better.

    Why didn't you add "& Jazza" under the original artists name? :)))))

      It’s not fake, it’s on a display he can see while he spins it digitally and it shows it live on his monitor

    Love this! When that painting and LOTR came up I also instantly thought of Into the West and how it could perfectly represent it - Amazing work!

    This was really depressing.. seeing how all the work from an artist can be ruined by another as it is nothing.. even saying "this painting i wpuldnt have looked twice".. this was a real shame..

    The 1st painting reminded me of Rod Serling"s "Night Gallery".
    The 2nd painting brought back childhood and the magic of Looney Tunes.
    The 3rd painting was truly a complete transformation - BRILLIANT.

    A surprise element, theme of customization tying back into the merch, perfect pace, audio description of what you’re doing and the reasoning behind it… great for watching in the background and glancing at it every now and then but also great for watching with full focus.
    Please more of this!
