mental is the most important part in valorant, i had just ranked up and was playing in breeze against people i thought would be so much better than me ( i was bottom fragging 8-12 by the end of 1st half)
after that i started peeking more agressively and relying more on my aim and we ended up winning as i 2nd fragged with 24/18 behind our jett 27/18 so imo mental can in fact hold you back most of the times
oh definitely, mental can impact your gameplay tenfold

This was me after sunset game as cypher dropping 27/17/7 KDA in a Silver/gold lobbies. I was I got a match MVP loss out of that. This was recently 15 minutes after this video was posted.
i really like not playing multiple game at once, just play one or two games and log off, after few hours come back and play one or two games again, it helps keep ur mental up so you dont have multiple bad games in a row

in the span of a month I ranked up from silver1 to plat 3.
Currently on a 8 L streak keeping my mental high… these games really feel out of my control though… 13-10 or closer I feel I could’ve clutched 3 to bring it back but the 8 games are all 13-8 or worse and idk how me as one person is supposed to win 5+ rounds for my team
Happened to me, too. Currently I win one, I lose one, I win two, I lose two. Just can't advance for some reason, but when I look back to the match, I can see that there were some moments I could've played much better and not rush or peek alone or be brave for no reason and those could've changed the outcome. The point is, these little mistakes have a great impact and that's what we can change. Never mind the teammates' performance, just ours alone can improve, always.

I play with my friend, always duo queue in singapore server. One time, i met a team, they not communicate each other but we still to try comms as we can. And he don’t hear our comms😂. I try to text it and he doesnt do anything. I dont know he reads or not but bro, what we can do after that? (Anyway, Sorry for bad english)
this video came right on time. i was just wondering about this, i top frag in a match but we lose that said match. one thing i notice is when i die my teammates fall one by one. but when i don't top frag (not bottom neither) we win matches.
also toxic players get under my skin easily. i remember this match, I was doing well at first, then I mad a mistake midround (unalived after getting 2 kills). then this person singled me out. and it all went downhill from there.
Back in the day, it really was the teammates that held me back, idk i couldn’t change my play-style because they got a lucky placement when they belong in silber
Ended up going with a 5 stack n got out of plat and now i get less bad teammates but valorant players suck in general
@@yinjiro4984 so do you though, otherwise you would be higher elo. You are not stuck in one elo because of your teammates, that does not happen ever if you have played like more then 10 games an act

Yeah I've been making more impact on average, and more conistently, than ever, because I'm currently consistently peaking in skill level and I'm improving faster than ever before. This was shown in my rank also peaking the last time I played (before my break). But, despite carrying 1/3 of my games this act (out of 15 past games), and spoon-feeding my teammates 5+ rounds in many games, it's clear to me that they are often either sleeping, not trying, or just not caring about the win.
Those sleeping, I would really appreciate if they stopped playing comp. I'm so close to immo but yet so far because of the necessary grind.
Those trolling, I would really appreciate if they went and did it in lower elos where people have nothing to lose.
I've lost over half of the games that I did EXCEPTIONALLY well in, in the last few days. Normally, withh such a performance I would expect to at LEAST be back to Ascendant. And while I obviously could be carrying my shit teammates better, it's only a struggle because I'm supposed to be performing far above my current rank to actually rank up, and the fact this is necessary is obviously not my fault, because I'm actually trying unlike my teammates.
Which in my opinion, makes the ranked system utterly terrible. For it to expect you to start smurfing before you can rank up is utterly unfair and unrewarding. Sure, I may be getting progressively more 30k's and fragging out with impact, but if it's not resulting in a well-deserved win, that's totally on my team for not trying hard enough.
It sounds like you need to duo queue, trio queue or 5 stack

Sometimes when I play I’m not comfortable with my comms because I’m not familiar with abilities/strategies
Because the way I like to win matches is by doing funny strategies & having fun with the game

They then proceed to pause, and do their own thing. They peeked and died, and since it was a 2v1 it became a simple 50/50 and we lost the round.

Oh my mans Im jusy that good if I give comms and my teammates aint braindead then the teammate who listens to my comms gets like easy 3k's like not even shittin u, the avrg val players game sense and headphones are dogshit so if they listen to me we actually win, my after death comms is like better then my comms while alive cause I spectate all teammates and give comms on sound q's and visual q's

@@tali.rafi.a, don't worry, the curse continues even in plat lobbies. I'm stuck in p1-p2 since forever, if I queue with randoms and 1-2 teammates use their mics, that's a rare thing and usually ends in a win, but other than that it's just silence. What compensates that silence is that they listen to your calls (IF you top frag or 2nd top frag). Otherwise, they'll be like "bro, ur bottom frag, shut up, reported".

I try to comm, but so many times i get sexist comments or they just say i talk too much (because im the only one using my mic). plus, in silver/gold there's so many smurfs and also people who are just throwing on purpose to be able to sell the accounts on a certain rank. so there's a lot of luck involved if you want to rank up in soloq especially in low rank
seriously just perform well and you’ll rank up, it’s not that complicated

I went 9-2 on first 4 rounds, got tilted by my chamber, Died 7 times in a row, * now 9-9. Locked in and ended the game 29-10 in a close win

Probably overcommunicating without actually having a proper communication of where the enemies are, or that teammate is just complaining. if it's just one teammate, just mute them. If it's only one teammate that does that, chances are they won't give a fuck to communicate anyways. That or when you stopped talking, your other teammates are now at a disadvantage since you now don't communicate.
comming is pretty respected, ur definitely just yapping about random stuff that doesn’t matter (whether it’s about the game or not)

Immortal 2, 12 11for us, split I had 30 kills playing clove, they full stacked A and rushed with no util(such an diamond thing to do in my server), 5v3, they are silent, raze and Jett they just dash into the crossfire and enemy raze gets both, now she has ult and my other two hear the sound of the ult, they die

until youre in silver and you have a teammate who isnt rated yet but is probably iron 1 judging off crosshair placement and aim. On top of that your hidden mmr places you against golds and sometimes even plat players. Matchmaking is poorly balanced and sometimes you cant salvage anything with a positive attitude.
Obviously you can't win every game, I've climbed out of silver like 3 times even with a shit pc
MMR and matchmaking is not poorly balanced the game places u in a elo where they think u belong
The wprst is if you are a dumbass and play placement just when you start to get om game agaon and just do placement to do it and end up in iron and u get a duo smurf every 3 games
If you belong in gold lobbies give that person a gold rank so they have gold teammates. Not force them to carry silvers vs gold teams
just do well against golds in terms of stats, whether you win or not, because after a few games it’ll put you in lobbies with people ur skill

ok but some people communicate too much. If you die, tell where you got shot from and who it was (e.g. Reyna in Showers!) and be quiet for the rest of the round plz. some people take the role of the game navigator, telling stories about where some enemies COULD be and what the living players should do next and when to use utilities...stop the backseat gaming guys! you are distracting and your info is worth nothing.
