Haha, lot of magic going on in this video.. Well done, mate!
Building in crocs, the stuff of legend.
Hi Zack,
You know 1000% more how to customize things than most people do. You don't have to apologize to anyone for the decisions you make. You're a fine young man and will go far in life. God bless you!
👍😃👍
I love your style and honest good hearted character! It is a weird project, but coming from you anything is good and interesting to watch 😊
Had this idea to years ago. Never got to it. Super nice to watch your inspirational channel!
I gotta do this. Thanks for sharing your ingenuity!
Built this cart with the 1K watt motor.
Took it for a test spin today. Cart hit 26mph with me on it.
Probably illegal in some states.
I love it
I got a voltage regulator to take the cell phone charger from 48V to 12V. Picked it up on Amazon for $18. The charger linked is 24V max and if you use it on a 48V system you will fry it.
I added a digital safe and put the ignition in the safe. I placed the safe in the rear of the cart. Fit perfectly.
I'll post up video soon and place it in the comments.
Thanks to OP for the build!
Hi, have you got a video for your motrised cart?

(Spongebob cutout: "2 years later...")
Surely this OP will dleiver his video.
This is great! I really enjoy your videos and you giving links to the parts is very helpful and greatly appreciated! Keep doing what you do!
Do you have a link for the 48v charger there is no more in the link he put
I built one of these at the end of 2019 for hauling stuff when we go to our son's baseball games. I used a small safe for the battery box and have let and usb voltmeter attached into it. I can throw keys, wallet and etc in it when at game or beach. Glad to see you posted the video. I couldn't find anything like this when I was looking and wasn't about to pay the price for a built one.
Dude that is an amazing project!
Love it! congratulations!
Wow! Looks great, thanks for the idea.
Great application, just what I need. Thank you.
You definitely have skills! This would be great for going to swap meets, after pulling a bunch of car parts around on a hot summer day, I am dead. I really like the hook to attach another cart to. The only thing that would be nice is a freewheel type of system. There are times when you have little to nothing in it and really don’t need to waste battery life. Can’t wait to see what you do next.
Brilliant. Enjoy to watch.
Awesome job! I was actually trying to get ideas to build my parents and electric wagon for bringing firewood into the house from the wood shed. This would be perfect as they already have a gorilla cart like yours. Thanks for making this video!
Another interesting and well executed project, keep the variety coming it is innovative and entertaining!! BTW..Thanks for all the links.
Cheers mate, nice editing.
Awesome video! awesome idea! Great job.
Snazzy transitions! Neat project. Great job.
This is not weird, super practical. Thanks for idea.
All of the video editing magic you do is fantastic
It really is a GREAT video you made, and it totally inspired me to not only build one, but to understand the weaknesses and improve the design (i.e. try making a turn with yours on pavement with that solid rear axle, lol). I'm currently on Rev3 and still trying to do better. It's such a great concept and excessively useful device for me, which is why im going through great lengths to truly optimize it! Thank you again!
Solid would love to see your progress or what motor can I use like the second one he used
Love it! What a great imagination!
Great project!
Any update on how it works with dry sand?
Kool! I built one years ago using an anglers Fish n mate cart and drive axle from a mobility scooter. Works great
Very cool , awesome work .
Very cool. Gave me a bunch of ideas.
This is awesome! Great work.
Great video! This is something I need so bad. Tired of lugging these heavy carts at the beach. Thanks for the ideas.
Not weird at all. Very creative and practical. The applications are endless.
I'm in awe of this young mechanic.
Thumbs up for the editing.
Nice FX. Well aligned cuts.
That is so awesome!
WOW what an amazing job! Great quality work too, you should sell these things! Thanks for the great video, got some ideas now.
Thanks I just bought a groundwork cart with 16 inch tires from tractor supply to aid me in collecting driftwood but the more rocky the beach is the harder it is to steer and pull
I had an idea like this as a kid, its cool to see it made finally
Cool fishing cart!! 👍
That's awesome!!! I want 1 for yard work lol
AWESOME VIDEO ! Ty
Jump cuts/transitions were really cool and unique. You get better at this with every new episode. Keep it up!
Great build
That’s pretty dope man
Nice jump cuts! 👍
Nice build!
Great job
Cool project. Though I was so distracted by the crocs that I missed all the details.
Something like this with a linear dump actuator would be super handy around the yard!
Your a Rock Star Bro!!
Great Job.. 😉👍🏼
Nice work young man
this one was so fun to watch :D
We have the red one you were pulling, but I often think how great it would be if it could be electrified. Great build.
Dang Awesome build !!! AAA +++ Where was this all the years I packed my family on and off the pier. That's it I gotta build one now.
That’s awesome. You should see if you could figure out a way to connect one of those potable solar panels to it to charge while you’re at he beach. Thi way you wouldn’t have to worry about the battery dying on you an you can keep the charge topped off.
very cool build! I noticed your shirt !! I grew up in LW and WH. We had a summer place on Lake Kissimmee and then on Lake Hatchineha. Worked at Cypress Gardens while in high school. Hopefully LW is still a cool little town...Cheers
Good man 🦸♂️
I plan on making one for foot hiking to carry all gear and water for my long hikes. I think good tires will help getting through the bush.
Randomly popped up of my algorithmic trendies lmao.... and i loved what youve donw with the cart!!! I suggest using like a trail bike handle bars incase you tend to sit and steer.
Great build! I would consider using a motor with a built-in planetary gear reduction, since what I'd want is slow speed / high torque for getting over the dunes at walking pace on the way to the beach. I have a larger Gorilla Cart that we use at the beach, but getting it over the dunes fully loaded is a nightmare. Also, given the salt / sand conditions at the beach, I wonder if it makes sense to build an enclosure around the motor and drive train?
Good idea, also means it won’t need a brake as the gearbox will bring it to a stop when it’s not under power
I'm doing this myself, going for a 350 watt 36 volt gear reduction motor, should be enough to get it started on sand I'd hope
How about a bridge and a motor enough like his second one
Bro idk how your video popped up but I'm glad it did, I've been trying to find a way to do all of this and the exact parts to use like this but to my tool cart, a Rubbermaid Utility Cart, I had added some 8 in Pneumatic Tires and I wanna make it where I don't have to push it cuz it gets heavy but you might've saved the day so thanks, I'm gonna look into getting all the stuff you did and doing the same setup!
Nice job.
I liked your pull-cart train. I guess that makes you an official engineer!
Very useful. Thank you. Please give followup as to whether brakes are really necessary, at least on the beach.
This is genius!! Looking for a more detailed version so I can do this.
Cool, love your projects..... You have a real nack for things mechanical. (and paint) I have a winter place in Haines City, I see you wore a Lk. Wales t-shirt...... We are practically neighbors.........
Pretty much 😂
Need that on fireisland great 👍 stuff
I built something very similar but I used a 36 volt motor and cut the base off a couple of burned up m18 drills and used them to wire the motors so I could use 2 18 volt Milwaukee batteries to power it in a series
sweet idea.
In the jetski world we use beach carts to launch them into the water at the races. If you can make a water proof design with big tires that would be amazing.
I'm thinking of doing this with my bicycle cargo trailer. It looked like at 1st you had dual motors, but then went single motor with your minibike kit. Is that correct?
My setup I was thinking 2 motors, 350watt on front axle & 350watt on rear axle, hooked up to same controller & battery. What are your thoughts? I heard dual motor gives you instant torque and helps lighten wear & tear as if it were a single motor. THNX
You started with a 500w motor. I want to build one like yours to move landscaping materials around. Would the 500w be enough, or should I go to 1000w? Thanks
I have a rigid toolbox that I want to do something similar too because it gets heavy with my tools and then having to pull over terrain. I'd like to use a milwaukee 12.0 AH battery to run it and have a momentary contact switch on the handle to turn on the motor. I also thought about someway to have the motors not engage until the box is angled to pull along. What do you think?
Have a way to disconnect drive in case of power/motor failure. Perhaps a tensioner which when removed can allow the chain to be taken off the axle.
Like the idea.
You really need that anyways to adjust for chain stretch just like on a bicycle. A double turnbuckle in compression or tension would work great and then uses lots instead of holes to mount the motor. Quite easy to adapt from present config.
Do u have a link for the brake caliper, and what do u use the Wire Block for exactly?
How did it perform in the sand?
3 yrs later not a reply to the comment or a updated video with the newer 🔋
lol those wheels suck you need balloon wheels in soft sand
genius idea
Where to buy the brake caliper and mounting plate for this axes? Thank you.
Nice ...love it man !!! good deal ! wish I can make one like that ....or even something like that, that hitches on a ebike ... hauling a wagon like that .. now that would be cool .. for the kids to ride on with seats and maybe a canopy .. how about that :)
Very nice editing job! It takes me a long time to edit videos and I don't do any tricks.
Good job ...
Pimp my cart, baby!! This was fun! That small motor was meant to break down for you to use the other motor for mo powah baby!
Think there's a way to use electric drill batteries like they do on power wheel conversions?
Awsome!!!!!!!!!
What was the max load it can take? Nice build btw :)
How many watt controller are you running in it?
can you throw a solar panel on the side or where ever for a trickle charge when out and about so you are all ways topped off? AND how far did it go befor it died Yards, feet, miles?
Great build. What are your thoughts on salt corrosion?
absolutely practical...is there a way to use variable speed control? well done project !
Cool!
Does it go in reverse too? What part do you need to make it go in reverse?
Do you have a parts list with part numbers and the upgraded motor and charger, where to by the parts?
Can you please tell me where you bought that kit?
I have the same cart and was thinking same way. Where did you get the axle ?
Looks great, though you should put a support arm going from the axle area to the motor mounting area. If you demand enough torque from it, you'll pull the axle forward as it is.
Indeed. I take this video as an open source blueprint that everyone can modify as needed. Him posting this video is good enough to get started.
Would it be possible to use a dewalt (any power tool) battery?
What speed controller did you use?
This is very nice. What kind of welder do you use for your custom metal work and component mount points?
Eastwood mp200i
What motor did you end up using?
Are there any future plans to incorporate folding solar panels for charging on the go?
Love that freakin elephant,
So I'm working on one of these. But for hiking any recommendations? 5 miles. I have an old scooter my mother gave me before she passed. Kinda wanted to use that to give it a second life.
