Since I fix medical carts at hospitals, I looked through a lot of videos and I was trying to figure out what i could do about lugging my milwaukee packout around the hospital. You've got something I can work with. I hope I don't get in trouble riding this thing around the hospital.
I live in an apartment so I have to tote my wagon a block or two to where I can work on my projects.. I'm getting older and it's already in the high 80's in Orlando (end of May) and l was looking at my older Radio Flyer before pulling this up. I like it..
Funny I did this as my final project for my engineering degree, After pulling my son around I was like well there has to be a good option. I used an electric skateboard off amazon as my donor for the controls and motor.
That would be great for pulling parts from the junk yard and putting them in the wagon. Even a car engine could fit in a heavy duty wagon and you could easily move it. Thanks! I wonder if I could take it to Walmart and ride it around the aisles and pick up my groceries.
Batteries from power tools might be a good source too. They're high output cells and you might already have them. There are resources on how to create a 3d printed receiver for them.
After the last beach trip and pulling our wagon loaded with beach stuff I’ve had it. Skinny wheels, fat wheels…..it doesn’t matter. It’s a miserable slog no matter what. I’m determined to make something work. There HAS to be a better way that doesn’t cost over $1000. All I want is a high torque, low speed motor with an option to disengage the motor to tow with a golf cart. An electric direct drive bicycle motor might work.
Because I have six slipped disc's, I cannot lift, carry or pull anything. something like this would be a real help to me for doing shopping. Have you ever thought how helpful this would be to the elderly or disabled ?
Genius! Just subscribed. I planned to do this but want to know if the wagon is still “freewheeling” when the motor is turned off? Meaning, will it still roll smoothly if the battery is gone?
What I don’t understand is why you need to controllers and the reason I’m even watching your video is I have a tao tao electeic 36v 4x4 and i bekeihe the speed controller broke cause the motor is spinningnon its own out kf no where when jt has power I went to change it and noticed there was one bugger brushless controller and a smaller one somehow commected together to make the bike work
There is, the easiest way is to go with weaker motors like 12V, also you can modify the throttle or a potentiometer to have a upper limit, so that it only gives it say 10% or whatever speed fits walking.
I appreciate the request, but I got a lot on my plate as is. You'd have to offer me a ridiculous deal to make it worth my time and I'm not gonna insult you with making an offer... You could probably just buy something at that point.
I want you to know I signed in to like this video. If you live in New Jersey and agree to make an electric Amish carriage with me, I'll even subscribe.

Cool , I was tired of lugging stuff out to the beach, that was the inspiration for mine.
can't wait for part two! I want to do this for a wonder fold wagon so I can drive it
Here for inspo for my wonderfold
Thank for putting in the crash at the end lol.
Glad you landed on the grass!
Lol, still thinking about brakes!
@@waltsreviews90 where is the second part- part2 , ??????? I wanna see it. and the epic fails it entails

good job that break works immediately
Dad projects ! I get it . I am living this everyday. Thanks for the inspiration .

Good to know, thanks for the tip!
Can you take the motor off the wheels??
@@andesconsultingengineers1814 yea
Can u help me?😢

That crash was epic. Good stuff, pops!
Easier hauling the kids around, but I think you did it for Walt. 👍

Cool idea! Thanks for sharing.

Awesome work! Where's part ?! The people wanna know! :D
I'm going to try using a single Dewalt 20V drill to power 1 axle for a salvage-yard parts wagon.

Literally me right now. Using this idea for my bad back.
Looks like the link to the motor has been updated to include the Throttle Handle and controller do you have a model of the motor or an updated link?
Did you make the Part 2 Video, can’t find it?
Amazing work 👏
I cannot find your Part 2 Video on this build?

Yes! i hadn't thought of that!
😊awesome job. How does it do in the sand?
Excellent!
As you were riding it, I thought about how there was no mention of brakes lmao
If your only toting cargo I'm thinking you can brake it by merely cutting power and holding it back momentarily.
Thankyou. Im making one.
I didn’t add breaks at the end was hilarious 😂
Any update on the NMN Resveratrol? You're looking really healthy man
Yes, I will make an update video soon.

Love It
Can you do it automatically using sensor that follow you around?
They have electric golf caddies that do just that. I would think if you found one cheap enough you could rig the sensor and electronics to anything
I know this has been awhile ago but I was curious if there was a way to control speed? You were zipping around lol I need walking speed haha

@@waltsreviews90 ok cool thanks!
Have u tried to use it on a sandy beach?
Has anyone said you sound like Patrick Mahomes?😂
Lol, yes. You are definitely not the first.
Could I get away with one speed controller for both motors or is there some kind of load component that I'm not considering?
If your controller can candle both then yeah
how much of slope can it go up with 50 lbs?
has anyone tried a power wheels?
What would you charge to build one out for me? Not including the wagon cost.

@waltsreviews90 what if we cam go in buisness I will handle everything just need your input let me know

I have it all filmed I just need to edit and release it....
