Hey thanks for watching the video!
It is nice that the family are getting into their own projects. Neline into goats and Miriam into Cheese. I hope Miriam produces some videos of her Cheese making journey.
I love Denis's laugh, he can brighten up a dull day.
Glad to see Miriam back, didn't realize she was away. Hope she learned alot. Great video Jan, nice to see the family working together, helping out each others.
I Knew Mirjam is away from adairyontheprairie as in one of Nelines videos she did mention Mirjam is away as she was the Only one Feeding the Calves 24/7 at least at the feeding times as it's twice a day according to Neline she did mention that @saskdutchkid did check on the New Calf that was just born and he did look after the Calf according to Neline.
I really like your scenic Drone shots. Glad to see Mirjam back. Can't wait to see her cheese production. 🖖💜
Very Nice to see Miriam back with her Beautiful Big Smile 😃 We missed you!
Dennis is great! You guys make a great team.
Cheese!? I want some! 🧀😋
Nice to see Miriam back again. About the tin plates, you have to use the small rims to put the screws in. My neighbour has the same and the people who came to install them did the same as you did. And they overturned the screws. They became little densts and they all started leaking. That was on his barn for haystorage so they had to come back and put new plates on the roof and install them as it should be. At Nelines it is just for cover so it is not that big of a deal.
Here is someone that has never done any kind of construction work, giving advise lol
Your neighbor must have hired you
Love the drone shots just beautiful thanks!!👌👍
Nice to see the old farm truck lives again, hard to keep a good Chevy down. When I was a young boy my uncle Bill broke off a piece of blue salt block and gave it to me. You would have thought he had given me a piece of rock candy, I licked on that for months. Unfortunately it looks like those November winds took a toll on your new flag, good flags are expensive but that is why. I for one can not wait to purchase my first Kielstra Dairy cow or goats cheese.🧀
Great job you all helping Neline , team work , love & being close in working operations , congratulations , cherish those days Jan as you get older , time goes by fast ! Mom & Dad has to be proud of everyone , it shows in the total operation ! Rock on !
Jan is the Next Boss man Yes it will be him Amen.
Jan, your drone shots at sunrise are just phenomenal ❤
Looking after the sisters Jan. You know they will look after you. Family.
Hi Jan, thanks for the video ! I've noticed that your younger sister has been missing for some time. I thought that maybe she is in a degree program. Now this has also been clarified. I know Mrs. Antje from the Dutch cheese commercial.
Jan! Miriam needs to take the Raptor for a rip in the field!
Drone shots, Dennis laugh made this Vlog funny.
That bucket and claw really isnt the best for those straw bales. Need a bale clamp or maybe large double bale fork.
That dude Denis is so Canadian he could give the McKenzie Brothers competition.
Great video brother from the imperial county California 👍🎄 and have a merry Christmas you and your family 🎊
Hi jan another hardworking day
Where u be?
A happy cow is a well producing cow. :)
It is important to keep the cows happy!
I enjoy u sask kid, real fun guy, I'm 73, love the working kids
It’s nice to keep the recipes from your ancestral country. I should be more at. I’m mostly from Ireland and Poland and Ukraine. I haven’t eaten the traditional foods in a long time though. I have to make them consistent with my special food programFor health.
Your Family is Amazing. Everyone helps, fixes and finishes anything put in front of them without complaint or whining. Wonder if Neline will be selling and shipping that cheese 🧀???? I WANT 😋.
Nice to see Mirjam back!
Put some goldfish in the waterboils Jan, their keep it clean. 😊
That was interesting seeing the cows standing in line to get their turn at the salt block!! BTW I just looked again at Google Earth to see if they have updated the overhead of your farm since you've made all the additions with the feed area or even the new main building but they haven't. It's still from 2015.
USGS has a newer image, but even it's outdated. (Before they added on to the pack barn)
Glad to see mirijam back thought she went off to school she did but for cheese. Is your family thinking of getting into the cheese business. Great job on the roof ing tell me whyis it a so high for short little goats..i know it has to be high enough to get the machine in to clean, maybe it's the camera and angles that make it look so high
I think the video view would be different from the In person view.
Gonna need a new Flag soon
That's a massive goat shelter you are going to have lots of goats and cheese too. Keep up the awesome videos and work you do with your whole family and crews.
I was just wondering where Miriam was. Welcome back.
i live in New Zealand the place i worked for unpacked 20ft containers (22000KG) of pink Himalayan salt rocks for cow licks our store men packed most into 500kg big bags apparently the pink salt didn't kill the grass as our cows here live out side
Good for sister. ❤
Ferdinand let cows lick block; will lick hair-face skin for salt…runs behind tree - no one saw anything…not going to say it…maybe a snog goodnight?
Awesome movement and form…DK blues in the morning…sneaky lady behind…sticker shock?...gorgeous sky-blue-pink everywhere…big, beautiful leg - and flag 😉; needs repairs…calm dubs - nice; like the cut in time with crescendo...careful handling your equipment; just sayin’…Oh. My. God. - drool - “Sharp Dressed Man”…long shadow…lot of sketchy in the family - Sketchy-Kielstra?…damn; those legs…“Oh, Oz never did give nothing to the tin-man, that he didn’t, didn’t already have”…schmexy thumb…gouda night, Mirjam and black stallion
😎🤠
Your drone footage is proof positive how dry it is and our lack of snow lets hope for the best .. happy cows with fresh salt blocks.
Love ALL your videos ❤!
🇺🇸🇨🇱
I live near to Gouda, Gouda cheese……….so delicious 😋…….in Dutch…..Goudse kaas!
I’m looking forward to some cheese videos, I’m glad Mirium returned home safely! Merry Christmas to everyone 🎄I’ll be on the lookout for Neline’s next video!
Is that mint flavored salt? It's green. When we were kids everyone licked a salt block at least once. One neighbor kid would go into the feed store and try all the salt blocks. Vanilla (regular salt), chocolate (salt and mineral) block. Then there was a yellow block, probably mineral. Anyway he thought they were flavored like ice cream.
Hey buddy I watched your videos that helpful.. I also have cows.. I want t to know what all difficulties you face like cow not standing, cow get injured, cow get sliped and not standing etc.. Please make a video for this... Love from India..
Great video Jan and Miriam. Yor place is looking awesome. Great job guys. Hope y'all have a great Christmas
I worked for a dairy in Wisconsin. They made a lot of Gouda. Are you gonna run a string line?
harsh winds of Saskatchewan prairies took their toll on Canadian flag.
I don’t understand why you guys don’t use hay prongs (spears) on the wheel loader moving bales, probably wouldn’t bust a single bale and can still move two or three at a time
You need a forke for the Bales 😊
Thank you for the video.
I hope Miriam did not forget to speak Canadian after such a prolonged outing on a Dutch soil.
What kind of cheese is she going to make? Gouda or Havarti? Just a guess. Lil
I milked cows on probably the number one or 2 dairies in West Virginia for almost a year and a half.
It better to screw down than to screw up. I did have a good laugh on this video.. . Granny
So a video explaining a little more detail about Neline's and Miriam's new adventures. They moving off onto there own or are these all tied in with the families greater farm business.
Even though I joke about the bail destruction by Jan But I have the upmost respect and I have no knowledge of how to operate a tractor and lift anything. The videos are really fun to watch.
It is great that you support your Sisters farm. God Bless you all.
Why wouldn't he
Hi there when are going to start back up with video’s sure do miss them🤠
Im a homesteader in South Africa also learning to make kaas 😅
Gouda cheese is the best.
You talk to your sister about Holland, but the country your sister has been to is the Netherlands and not Holland.
Hollend does not exist as a country, but there are 2 provinces in the Netherlands, North and South Holland.
I normally buy the cheapo stuff from the supermarket, but on holiday I had some mature Gouda, it was very nice.
The roof looks great. Those drone shots really do add a lot. 👍
Nice drone shot
Love thay drone footage. Really shows the farm, thanks for sharin'.
I thought you were going to get another calf, with the wheel barrow. You could use that drone, to put up a new flag.
Looking forward to that cheese.
Gouda en geitenkaas natuurlijk!
And yan and family keep it clean have you seen the amount of work they do
Looking at your sisters operation, your dad pays well!
6:24 are those old corrals In the background Jan
Jon.
Thank you for taking all of us along as you help your sister work on her farm. That is great, plus it is good to see your beautiful younger sister again. Please take care. 👈👍😎
Mmm !!! Nice Gouda cheese , bring it on ! When can I pick mine up ?
This December drier than usual?
Doesnt help when cows try to stand in the water and crap in it too!
How come you don’t use a bale spear?
AWESOME! CONGRATS! LOOKS GREAT!
It looked like you put the roof screws on the flats and not the ridges. Maybe fine by you as dry, here it would leak and rot the cross members. Is she milking goats or fattening? Dutch cheese from Saskatchewan, that's Gouda 👍
Neline is primarily building a herd of meat (mostly Boer) goats. However, she also has a hobby herd of mostly Nigerian Dwarf goats, that she's experimentally milking.
Great video. Always a lot to do everyday.
I just love your place its so beautiful.
Can’t wait to see the cheese making.
Can’t wait to see some cheese video….
Will u please get a set of bale forks? 😂
bales are so freaking loose
Cheese for sale...?
You need a new flag!!
Merry Christmas 🎄
Jan how’s the raptor
Miss you Mirjam ❤️
Merry Christmas from Ontario 🇨🇦🇨🇦🎄
Have a beautiful Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year.
Love the videos.
Peynir fiyatı kaç
Nice to see Miriam
Denise in da house
I'm curious is the goat farm on your family farm or somewhere else
It's somewhere else. It's an old farm that Neline and her Fiancé purchased earlier this year.
Jan, I love your videos. You do a great job. Do you have help with some of the taping?
A question about the Holsteins... Arre they genetically polled? Do you ever have to dehorn calves?
Jan I Knew Mirijam is there as they came back together from Holland with the Boss man and your Mum as well Once they appear in your video Mirjam is back as well I Knew she's there when your Parents appeared on your channel after they came back from their trip to Holland another refreshed view back on the job at the Dairy Farm Nice video it's Nice to see that yous are helping your Sister as without the extra hands it won't be finished that fast.
🚜 🚜 🚜🐄🐄🐄🐄 🚜 🚜🚜
You guys are very good at building things build a double Speer for loader for bails so u don’t break the net like that
Even with hayspeers you lose some bales
Not necessary
Amazing how fast the ladies started in on those blocks. Great view of the sky on the drone footage. So Merjam was learning to make cheese. 🤔A dairy farm along side a ranch with milk goats. Very interesting.
We packed salt blocks to the Elk in the Blue Mts. Oregon The Beautiful flag flying🐄
again, LOVE the vids, Rob….. You getting close to 200K !!!
Goat cheese?
Mmm. Salty!
Cheese-making seems like a great venture. Anything value-added is good for income.
That maple leaf flag up on the grain leg is badly tattered again. Time to retire her already. 🍁
or Netherland/Canton flag?
Pa/Ma's province of Netherland
@@CurrentChoices Owners' choice on which flag but any flag on display should be in a respectful condition. There was a video a few months back showing Jan putting up a new Canadian flag there.
@@CurrentChoices 2:32 That sure looks like a torn and tattered Canadian maple leaf flag to my old eyes.
Do you see differently?
A fan sent that flag to them. Any takers before El Niño changes the weather??
Dam cool yan
👍🇨🇦
