You can mirror my movement when I'm facing you. Once the turning begins, we will be opposite. Listen for my verbal cues! When the music begins I attempt to keep doing the traditional version until I can't keep myself from busting out with some off the rails funky antics. I am actually still doing the exact moves, simply doing them in whichever direction feels fun at the moment. Try it!

4 counts - Start L foot step forwards
4 counts - Start R foot to the R. Step for 4, or Grapevine, or turn step
4 counts - Start L foot to the L. Step for 4, or Grapevine, or turn step
8 counts - Pointing up and down John Travolta Style from Saturday Night Fever
2 counts - Rolling arms up and towards your head towards your R
2 counts - Rolling arms up and towards your head towards your L
4 counts - With all of your weight on your L. Tap your R foot forward, back, side, then hitch turn one quarter to your R.
