Hi Roger, sorry to bother you but I was curious if you wanted to lighten you collection a bit? This is one gorgeous engine and I am currently building a 30 ft steam boat with a steam calliope and am in need of a steam engine to restore for the hull.
I have one of these engines :) same size, about to start restoring it. I see yours is serial number 81. My engine is built in 1889 and is 20 numbers earlier #61. very cool to see one of them running! I'm about to start the restoration process on mine. Would love to have a chat with you
