This is as good as the course Ken! I was hapless 2 months ago. I could hardly get the lips to flutter. I blew off so much air I couldn't make through the arpeggio.
Now I could do it,but only forced in the mask in the higher end.
With this video I'm able to get up there and sing in the back on the higher end.
Bravisimo and Grazie mille!!! Anyone who has the money and didn't buy the course should stop being cheap and JDI it! Nike's motto and mine.

Thank you so much, dear Ken, for another super-excellent Live Stream...it's something I look forward to every single Saturday morning!!! By the way, I just tried singing along to 'disneydiva7' and I did a pretty decent job of it...not to brag...hehehehe...but I know that's exactly what I'm doing...but I am proud of the fact that I can 'almost' do it after only three tries! 💗💗💗

I realize that all that controversial info and tips and tricks from another's bloggers are quite entertaining and sometimes quite helpful, BUT at the same time, you have to really learn what Ken says, and you have to stretch your open throat bright chesty sound, and than, you can dance with all the nuances from the others...

This was an awesomely informative, really "classic" webinar to which I've returned to listen several times. For those of us who are "geeks" of the singing world (not that I've had much ambition to really sing well or practice all that much, but was around traditional teachers in the 80's before giving up on the cost and trouble of dealing with conflicting voice methodologies), it really offers a good commentary on traditional bel canto training. As you've said, no one should be studying singing just from what "the books" say, but it's great to hear the "references" you put in here. When you put out a version of your course with footnotes, or put this stuff together into a thick print-book or e-book, those of your students and fans like me who are "geeks" will be waiting.

My style relies on a lot of mask, my favourite singer is Taylor Hanson. It’s hard to mask and keep the throat open, ken Why does mask sound so good??

Love your videos Ken!!! You really are very informative and everything you explain is easy enough so that everyone can understand, and try to do what you are you saying to do! I actually enjoy a lot of your songs and even though I know it’s not “legal” to do this, by! I rip the audio from RUclips and burn it to a CD so I can listen to it all day long certain songs of course LOL but I would say 90 to 95% of your songs I have it on a disk that I just continuously play all day especially when I’m working out in the yard and walking around the neighborhood !!
BUT????? do you have a way to order your music CDs? Do you have a website that I can go to and purchased land that? Because I really would like to pay for your CDs! I’m not one of those people that likes to rip music off of RUclips because it’s a pain in the ass to begin with LOL and second it’s not fair to the artist whose work so hard to not get paid for what he’s owed! So please if you would send me a link or you can send me a private message through my email which is, BenHogan1980@aol.com. Thanks again Ken! And keep on rockin! Everybody enjoys the music, I’m pretty sure you can tell by all the comments that I am not the only one who feels that way! Rock on brother! Hope to hear from you soon!!!!! Take care -Scott

Ken, I have developed open throat technique and only recently stumbled upon mask. What I’ve found is that without mask, I’d begin to lose good cord closure pretty quick. If I place the sound in the mask, I can sing for a very long time without feeling like I’ve done anything! Is mask placement necessary for proper singing and vocal health?

Ken, where this ampitheaters is actually placed? You said it's in the back of the throat, but can you say it more specific? I think I found it, but I'm not sure. It's like one time it's there and I feel that's resonance that comes aboard with it, and the second time I lose it. So if I got it right: you lean the sound in the same place everytime no matter what vowel mod. you use? I'll be very grateful if you tell me.
