I saw them live in 1990 and they were brilliant. This is for a TV show, it's perfectly common for a band to mime to their song for TV purposes. It's more about promo for the song than playing live.

This is for a tv show. Shows preferred band/singers sang to backing tracks due to setup delays, not having to do sound checks, multiple guests, etc. This was a common occurrence for bands during tv performances. Saw these ladies live, and they sound just like the record.
Both guitar players were incredible vocalists as well, but I've watched every Vixen video, this one sounds eerily familiar, you might me right, but their 1991 Cologne Germany concert live on youtube proves they could bring it 🔥🔥🔥
