    Stoic means -
a person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining.
    The three stoic philosopher:
    1)Marcus Aurelius
    2)Seneca
    3)Epictetus
    4)Zeno
Zeno ( from Rome he carried all his earnings and decided to go to Athens ,in between due to natural calamity in sea ,in ship he lost all but then also he reached Athens ) there zeno met 2 philosophers Cratus and Silphon Phus. They both thought phylosophy to zeno ,so what ever problems comes ,even ship itself drown under sea also how to handle life with morals they thought to zeno then zeno liked this he saw more improvement and he loved it , so hade school where he thought to all about what he learnt so everyone liked that teaching concepts so all called as zenoism but zeno don't like praise so he said and called all as stoic and that phylosophy name as stoicism.
Zeno of Citium, the founder of Stoicism, was not from Rome; he was from Citium, a city on the island of Cyprus. The story of losing earnings due to a shipwreck is not a historical account associated with Zeno.
However, it is accurate that Zeno studied with Crates, a Cynic philosopher, and later developed his own philosophical school in Athens, which became known as Stoicism. The term "Stoicism" is derived from the Stoa Poikile, a painted porch in Athens where Zeno and his followers would meet.
If you have further questions or if there's a specific aspect you'd like clarification on, feel free to ask!

After he became king kf Rome at his 40 age ,he had msny challenges , big history wars happened during his kingdom.
Marcus Aurelius faced a deadly pandemic called the Antonine Plague, causing widespread illness and death. Additionally, he dealt with the Parthian War (161-166 AD), a conflict with the Parthian Empire in the east, led by his co-emperor Lucius Verus. The war ended inconclusively despite initial Roman success.
During Marcus Aurelius' time, Rome had traditional polytheistic beliefs, but people were also drawn to mystery cults and Eastern religions. Some Romans embraced new spiritual movements like the cult of Mithras, while Christianity was gaining ground. Marcus Aurelius himself followed traditional Roman practices, but the empire experienced a mix of religious beliefs, causing both competition and coexistence among various faiths.
Marcus Aurelius handled biggest Plague as good , and easily he handled Plague.
By facing these many challenges, he made good governance for 20 years .
Each day all events all he made as note in diary .
    That diary only called meditation.
In that book is about, a normal human in his life ,what are the challenges he is facing, stress how to handle, how to face, handle as simple way Marcus Aurelius thought .
At the same time , Marcus Aurelius also handled his personal life also very smoothly with care ,each and every day he aloted time for his personal life also.
( By reading mediation we can learn how to face ,stress , personal problems ,work , business stress how to face ,how to live good life, through stoic phylosophy Marcus Aurelius thought.

      3.Seneca stoic philosopher ☺️☺️::
      Seneca :
      Politician lawyer
Seneca born before 4 years of chirstu .
Seneca the elder born, his father wants Seneca elder to become politiens , seneca father made deneca to join To atlas stoic phylospher, ( because that time those who learn phylosophy can become good lawyer,so with that easily become political advisor,so only seneca father made seneca to join atlas stoic philosopher , so he is learning stoicism from stoic philosopher atlas )
Seneca loved this learning ,he will go to that stoic school first member and comed ad last member in stoic school .
One day atlas ask why you are hardworkly learning stoic phylosophy very deep he asked ? You want to become big politician ah he asked ?
For that seneca replied, that I don't have desire to become politician, daily when i am learning phylosophy, new things daily i am learning 😊that each learning make me developing,so each day i will learn small stoic and implement it in my life and i am developing in my life.
That thing i loved it so only i am so much interested in stoicism phylosophy classes 😊
( Seneca teach us self improvement , through stoic phylosophy he says )
Seneca completed his phylosophy fully at his 23age .
( Normally that days 17 age itself they complete phylosophy and become lawyer but seneca learnt for 23 years phylosophy.
At his 23 age only he become lawyer, after he become lawyer with few days itself he had big disease in his lungs , to get cured he want to go to egypt,
He gone to egypt he took treatment for 10 years ,he was lying in his bed only, ( from this ,after going to work by great difficulties, then he was in 10years suffering with disease, but
      Seneca not only teach
      * " self improvement" but also he teaches
      *"Obstacles is the way ".
So obstacles only will develop us he says.
( So during his disease bed time he is not tired feel sad,but he learnt more studying, writing etc)
He come back at his 35 th age only to Rome , after coming to rome ,he had more shocking , in that time rome ,inside rome big war is going on, if he apply for lawyer again means, he may gets chance to Death Penalty( capital punishment),so for 10years Live in hiding..
At his 45 age in rome place, rome war stopped gets over, in that time Claudius
Roman emperor (rome king Claudius came as king for rome )
Seneca niw decided to become lawyer so he applied for lawyer and saw Claudius king , but claudius gets anger with Seneca and send him out of rome seneca 😢
After 8 years claudius wife call seneca to come to rome ,why because to teach claudius son Nero Claudius (Caesar Augustus Germanicus) to teach stoicism.
      phylosophy .
But senaca and no one knows that in future claudius son Nero become ruddest king in our history.
But Seneca teaches stoic phylosophy to nero then he becomes king of rome empire , after few days become nuri king ,he gave order to kill his entire family and he gave death penalty for seneca and say to suicide .
Seneca also he accepted and died .😢
During when Seneca was alive , they peoples ask , you only teach stoicism to nero ,then also why he is do rude they people's in rome ask to senaca,
Why you can't able to correct him?, what you did to him?,
Seneca said, in my entire life i did my job only
( Seneca entire life is biggest struggle he facesd, he says
      * " He saw all obstacles as stepping stone for sucess .
But till his last days also he lived normal life , he was improving himself only .
( For 8 years when he was outside rome , that time only he wrote book called Seneca "" letters from a stoic ""- a guide to the good life ( he wrote what he learnt all stoic philosophy ,he wrote through letters to peoples about stoic ,that letters collections only that book - Letters from a stoic ")
( We will learn 2 things
      Self imposed
      Obstacles is the way
( Obstacles is the stepping stone to success, and learn how to deal with obstacles)
When he knows that i am going to die, in that time ,he write in his diary
      As below 👇👇👇
** "" The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.
      ~Marcus Aurelius
      நம் செயலுக்கு வரும் தடைகளே நமது செயலை முன்னேற்றுகின்றன.
      நம் வழியில் வரும் தடைகளே நமது பாதையாக மாறுகின்றன.""

      4.Epictetus :the stoic
He was born into slavery at Hierapolis, he born after 4 years of chirst , He born in slavery family and he also grown as slavery, Epaphroditus was his owner.
After years ,When he is saying about his owner he says ,as a normal person as owner ,
Now Other people who lived there when they hear the name
Epaphroditus - they say as ruddest person , he done very worst brutality( cruelty, torture )
But Epictetus did not say badly about his owner ,he saw normal only.
But that writers wrote in one of letters said that Epictetus leg his owner Epaphroditus broke , his leg Epaphroditus broke and did not say why he broke his leg it may be for joy ,fun or lesson For slavery,or
Epictetus may disobey his owner words .
( We don't have reason why his owner broke his leg ,but how epictetus handle it ,reacted to it we evidence .
He didn't cry or scream or shout towards his owner he just say you are doing wrong like that epictetus said.
After few hours hig leg broken into 2 , he didn't cry , scream he said that ,i said to you that this is wrong ,now what happened see( he didn't complaint, show anger , cry )
After that event he didn't walk , he only walk with his stick .
      After long years he said
      **Epictetus- said
""It is not what happens to you ,but how you react to it that matters"".
( I am only handicapped my leg only not my mind my heart not handicapped)
( Epictetus teaches to us that ,
      LIFE OF CHOICE/ CHOICES)
Life can give anything to us but we take as it as , and give as positive attitude, positive action, and we can take positive choices )
      * Epictetus - says that
This life is biggest drama , we can get any type of role like slavery life, handicapped, teacher ,king etc
What type of role is not important, what how we are playing that role , what type of choice we are taking and where we make it and where we stop it - that is in our hand only """
( Epictetus - born as slavery, and become biggest stoic teacher and he opened big stoic school)
At his 30 age only he got freedom from slavery.
      In that time Augustus king
(Former Roman emperor) he said that before 30age for no one we should give freedom.
So only for Epictetus got freedom at his 30 age from slavery.
After got freedom his heart gies to stoic philosophy , he learnt many ,he teaches many and become teacher by teaching Stoic phylosophy.
After few years Domitian king of rome ruling rome
(Roman Emperor) he Strange/weird law he passed in rome , mainly phylosophy who are teaching should be fied punish and they should die like that he passess law for that Epictetus got fear for that law and goes to Greek and there he built a big Stoic school , and he teaches stoic phylosophy for 25 years Epictetus ( Greek Stoic philosopher) .
Therefore epictetus teaches only one thing that , in our life whatever can happens , but we should give life to postive life. how to take good decision, and teaches how to live with positive attitude)
All these phylospher lived a normal life so only stoic phylosophy is for Normal people, normal people to get successful

      Summary::.The three stoic philosophers ;;;
      1. Marcus Aurelius
      2. Seneca
      3. Epictetus
      4. Zeno
About Stoic Philosophy, Simply put, Stoicism was designed to help people live their best possible lives.
It's a philosophy of life that maximizes positive emotions, reduces negative emotions and helps individuals to hone their virtues of character.
At any moment, in any situation, and at any stage of life, Stoicism provides a framework for living well. It reminds people of what is truly important, providing practical strategies to get more of what is valuable.
Stoicism was deliberately created to be understandable, actionable and useful. Practicing Stoicism doesn't require learning an entirely new philosophical lexicon or meditating for hours a day. Instead, it offers an immediate, useful and practical way to find tranquillity and improve one's strengths of character.
