Problem as I see it: Everyone likes looking at cute girls, even people who don't like girls. Most people don't really like looking at men. But with that, if you're a cute girl, or androgynous character like Rev Says Desu, but you don't have a feminine voice, there's a cognitive dissonance that makes people uncomfortable. I'd suggest that anyone looking to be a male vtuber as a man, don't be a human. Be an actual literal cat, or a dog, or a F-22 raptor. Be something that looks fine, but isn't too distracting from your content. When it's cute girl with cute girl voice, it's the opposite tho. The avatar and voice distracts from their gaming capabilities (very frequently poor)
PS, in my opinion, I dont regard Nux as a proper Vtuber. He's a dramatuber with an animated avatar.
