This looks similar to making the "envelope" block for the Love Letters quilt. I think I will use the technique shown here, but with three of the colours being the same and one being different (red, red, red, white) to complete my quilt. Thank-you for sharing this AWESOME tutorial! :D
I remember years ago - a novice and I had to make these units - using a ruler to mark each line. I remember someone saying - use the tool.....What tool? I think I own 2 or 3 different ones so that I never have to search for it!:)
Thanks so much - I was breaking my brain trying to work it out - I'm quite new to patchwork and quilting and this is genius to me
Thanks. You really saved me a lot of material and frustration. Well explained.
Thank you. That is the clearest instruction I've ever seen. I'd like to make them now. A good tutorial.
thanks
Great job teaching here! Very well explained as always! I've missed your tutorials!

Yes, the same as I, but when I found it at a show I thought why would I need it and now can't live without it, are we not funny? Hahahaha
Love this quilt and your tutorial!! How do know how much of each color fabric you need? Love your colors!!☺️
What is the purpose of setting the seam before opening the block and pressing towards the side of the dark fabric?
What is the name of this quilt pattern?
