And by not even speaking which is fantastic because I get tired of listening to other women with their chitchat, drives me crazy but yours is very simple and straightforward and I appreciate it.

    Сшила наволочку по вашему МК, вот только была неприятная неожиданность, когда не хватило лоскутков. Оказывается половину треугольников вы просто убрали и не использовали. Пришлось их распускать и переделывать, у меня мало ткани было. Но в итоге получилась красивая вещица. Спасибо.

    I’m not sure if you will see this, I just made this block, and it is beautiful, I am very new to quilting and I am confused about something and I’m hoping you can help me. That block only used 1/2 the squares, the other half are to be opposite so I don’t think it will match up… does that mean this pattern can make 2 quilts?

    Hi is there a name for this block? It is similar to the jacobs ladder. I would love to adjust the size of the blocks to make a table runner. Thank you for the tutorial

    • @sewingtip
      @sewingtip  Год назад

      hello. The finished size for each block size is as follows:
      12cm, 11cm, finished size 36cm
      13cm, 12cm finished size 40cm
      14cm, 13cm, finished size 44cm
      15cm, 14cm finished size 48cm
      16cm, 15cm finished size 52cm.
      If the size of the block increases by 1cm, the finished size increases by 4cm. Conversely, if the size of the block decreases by 1cm, the finished size decreases by 4cm.
      🔆I sewed all seams along the presser foot line.

    • @mistresladys

      Hay dos tipos de cuadrados.
      Unos miden 14x14 cm, y son 8 estampados oscuros, 4 amarillos y 4 estampados claros.
      La mezcla es así:
      cada bloque de los 8, se empareja con cada uno de los otros ( cuatro amarillos y cuatro estampados claros.)
      Y de ahí salen los cuadrados de dos colores una vez cosidos .
      Espero que esté claro.

    • @mistresladys
      @mistresladys Год назад

      Cada cuadrado resultante de dos colores, los unes con los 8 amarillos y los 8 estampados de 13 cm y los vuelves a dividir.
      Y después los colocas como quieras.
      Aquí la medida final es de 44x 44

    So let's say we are making a small quilt....45"×43" (sorry it's not metric). How many yards of each fabric do we need. Will all the finished blocks use this exactly layout as far as 14cm^2: Fabric 1: 8, Fabric 2: 4, Fabric 3: 4 and 13cm^2: Fabric 2: 8, Fabric 3:8.
    I need more details!!!!

    • @leahdonovan7833
      @leahdonovan7833 Год назад

      I agree. I need to know how much for a decent sized quilt.

    • @Crystal020186
      @Crystal020186 Год назад +1

      @leahdonovan7833 well, let me tell you. The finishing block for the piece of fabric she started with yields TWO 44cm x 44cm squares. Now, she did end up with 4 piles and pushed two aside but I bought fabric based on her stating that the finishing block was 44cm x 44cm.
      I bought 11.5 yrds of fabric to make a ~50" x 60" throw/kids blanket. This gave me enough fabric to make TWO complete quilts.
      To make one 50" x 60" (it'll really be 48" x 64") you'll need the following...
      Fabric 1- 1.25 yrds. This will give you 48 5.5" blocks.
      Fabric 2- 1.5 yrds. This will give you 24 5.5" blocks and 48 5" blocks.
      Fabric 3-1.5 yrds. This will give you 24 5.5" blocks and 48 5" blocks.
      Hope this helps. I'm American so it's not metric 😂😂😂.
      This is also all based on fabric that has a 43" width...but I'm pretty sure it won't change if it's only 42" bc I had a little bit of remnants left.
      If you have tiktok, I can post what the quilt is looking like. @jelliebean0_o

    there's one thing I don't get : when people are making a youtube video, why being too lazy to explain ... I mean talking ... what they're doing ?? so stupid ... maybe if you're an experienced person, you'll follow more easily, but as an absolute beginner, all I can say is that videos like this one are BS 👎
