Tried this recipe with halfkg. Mutton but used 400 gm basmati rice ! This being monsoon period in Mumbai had a tough time getting pudina but yes we managed and the pulao came out extremely beautiful 👍👍flavoursome and tasty ! Also simple and non fussy recipe 👍👍thanks 👩🍳🙏🙏
Sir Ranveer - inspired by your cooker wala meat pulao, I cooked today with a slight variation by adding one clove and dash of fresh lime juice, did not use fresh mint. It came out really well. This is a famous dish in Hyderabad and Gulbarga (Karnataka) region named as Tahari. But the twist is before adding the curd, we add tomatoes and do saute untill it almost melts. Then the same procedure. And mostly we cook it in a vessel rather than in a cooker because this may cause the rice to become more squishy. And after adding the rice, we add a little lemon juice to bring the tangy and sour flavour in it! Hope you make a video on Tahari Which will definitely taste awesome.

My mum also use to make "Sunday Mutton Pulao" .... but mum use to "Bhuno" the meat, rice and spices together, for about 15 - 20 mts on a very slow fire... and thereafter put it water and cook for 2 whistles .... post that, the cooker use to rest for sometime, to "Dum" .... the result use to amazing!

Thanks for the recipe. I didn't use a pressure cooker but slow cooked lamb and the rice subsequently. Also ran out of coriander powder and used cumin instead. Still turned out fantastic. Thanks for your work with this channel.

I'll try this. My own yakhni pulao in pressure cooker involves being very particular about the rice to water ratio. This on the other hand seems very casual instruction. Should soak the rice for 30 mins or so beforehand? No?
This is best recipe, tried came out good, only correction i would suggest to not put red chilly powder before browning ( as it burn before meat gets brown )

This is best recipe, tried came out good, only correction i would suggest to not put red chilly powder before browning ( as it burn before meat gets brown )
