I love the belt! Unfortunately, I haven’t had a waist since the 1960’s! Love and look best in tailored and mens-wear style and I’ve been rotating outfits for years. Beautiful, Jenny, and beautiful Jenny.
Yes 🙌 please. Jenny is the one who introduced me to vintage Givenchy jewelry . I was excited to find the same exact Givenchy necklace she wears @04:03 on eBay.
Totally agree on the timeless appeal of the 60s mod style. I see it a lot when I watch European films from that era, especially French new wave. The style is so classic and would look just as smart today as it did then. Super inspiring.
There is one question popping up in my mind: Why do I feel the need to always look good? Its like I can only feel good when looking good. Who teached me so? Lets think about it. By the way - I totaly agree with you. The 60s nailed it.
I never repeat-wear outfits. I find the challenge of styling the same clothes in different ways really exciting, for me it’s one of the best things about clothes. Also, if I wear the same outfit too often then I’m afraid I’d get bored of it and eventually stop wearing it and get rid of it - although tbf, if it’s like a ‘special occasion’ outfit and I last wore it a year or so ago then I’ll happily re-wear it as I’ve had the past year to get excited about it !
The 60s is my favorite fashion decade. It's having a major revival in France right now and I'm so here for it, the mod style and the wild funky colors/patterns.
The 60s were such a radical departure from the previous decade, not only in fashion but on all fronts! In my view, it was the decade where the world changed. So much that came to be then has endured -- although there has been some backsliding. I like to think we are keeping the good things and improving when we can. It's definitely a decade to look to for inspiration!
Thank you so much! I have been working on my capsule wardrobe, and gradually decluttering what I don’t use anymore. It helps me to think about buying basics, and then dressing it up with add-ones.
Since I was about 19, my look has been clothes inspired by Dior New Look, Chanel chic, and Audrey Hepburn “masculine” style. Obviously modernized, but high quality bought at discounted price, and some pieces have lasted up to 20 years! I always find a way to add a new piece and mix it with older ones to look fresh and current. Neutral colors basics with splashes of bright ones 😊. Style never goes out of fashion, dixit Gabrielle Chanel
Ah, marvellous! I agree that accessories can create and finish a sleek outfit. I always love your beautiful jewellery, Jenny. I love the 1960s fashion, but also the fashion of the 1920s. Currently I‘m investigating ways of bringing elements of the 1920s into my own unique style, which seems to be ever-changing!
i add a lot of mod elements in my sort of modern, sleek goth look. turtleneck with a blazer, black doc martens. for the other guys out here, i use different lapel pins on my blazer as an add-on. it adds a tiny bit of color and variation. also, interesting socks! i wear shorter pants to show off my socks and they catch attention.
I agree with you! Tshirt and jeans have been a staple for me since the modeling audition/casting-call days! Love turtlenecks and classical elegant wear. The year I like is th 50s so classy and modest. (Audrey , breakfast at Tiffany’s ) my two cents !
I have been all over mod. I've also been getting a little twiggy, with a short houndstooth turtleneck dress. It's super fun and great to play with, especially with a not so exciting office job. Great video!!
yes, I can wear the same outfit 2-3 days in a row, no problem. It makes the start of your day less stressful because you don't have to decide what to wear. You can get ready more quickly as well.
Yesss for timeless!! I found myself wearing the most simple pieces of my wardrobe again and again and forgetting about the last “fashion trend” I bough (mindlessly, because I still make the mistake to buy because it’s beautiful but in the end I don’t feel great in them)
I think everything looked good in the modernist era of Mies van de Rohe, Alvar Aalto and Corbusier. Simple, clean, neat. In terms of clothing, what my grandma wore in the 60s in HK was very elegant- pearl earrings, hair in a bun and a shift dress, heels and handbag.
30's and 90's. The 30's daytime look brought trousers and knits, the 90's clean hair and the most simple practical and appropriate outfits (also nobody had tattoos yet).
Please make a video on how to wear the 60s style today! It is my favourite era, yet I never seem to be able to style it. The pants are too skinny, the skirts too bulky, etc. Please help
I went to a party for the first time since having a baby, and my wardrobe is significantly reduced because my body has changed shape, but I wore black satin trousers and a tight black long-sleeve shirt and felt beautiful. I sort of gasped when your outfit came up because I thought, "I think Jenny would approve!" :')
The boxy, high neck clothing you recommend isn't so flattering on short, curvy folks, so I can't really take that advice. But I love the jewelry + lips!
Dear Jenny, I’m very curious what brands your blazers are from. Blazers are great investment pieces but they tend to look incredibly ridiculous (on me) if the cut just doesn’t fit. I would really appreciate to hear your recommendations! Personally, I love boxy and oversized cuts but I never feel comfortable in them. So I usually go for the more tailored cuts.
Anyone have a recommendation for great fitting “boy-ish” t shirts for a curvier figure? Looking for sleeves that are more square, less clingy like the ones Jenny is wearing in this video.
Hi! How are you? Today is the day when the independence movement of Korea, which was a catalyst for independence from Japan, took place. If there is Joan of Arc in France, there is Yu Gwan-soon in Korea. I hope COVID-19 and Ukraine will be resolved peacefully as soon as possible. It's Tuesday. I hope you stay healthy for the rest of the week.
I love your style! However, my size and shape is as opposite from yours as it can get. I am quite short, have large breasts, and a very short torso. Most of what you wear would look dreadful on me. For example, turtlenecks are very unflattering, and an oversized coat cinched in with a belt would look horrible with my big boobs sitting right on top of the belt. It took me years to figure out what works for me but I eventually did and now I get compliments all the time and finally feel like I look my best. So much depends on our proportions.
I love the belt! Unfortunately, I haven’t had a waist since the 1960’s! Love and look best in tailored and mens-wear style and I’ve been rotating outfits for years. Beautiful, Jenny, and beautiful Jenny.
yes! I actually have a waist and I am really short and soft so oversized with a belt just makes me look shorter and rounder 🤣 Everything else works..
Jenny could you please do a jewelry collection video? I'm always amazed when I see you wearing a new piece!
Yes 🙌 please. Jenny is the one who introduced me to vintage Givenchy jewelry . I was excited to find the same exact Givenchy necklace she wears @04:03 on eBay.
Love the idea repeat wear again
Only matter that can compete with the 60’s as far as timeless taste: 90’s minimalism! If you ask me 😊❤️
Totally agree on the timeless appeal of the 60s mod style. I see it a lot when I watch European films from that era, especially French new wave. The style is so classic and would look just as smart today as it did then. Super inspiring.
Love that you show us your outfit-repeating, Jenny! I totally agree and still need to hear it to feel more confident with it

Yes to the 60s, yes to your videos! Thank you for all the work you do 🌟
I feel like elements of the 70's are always coming back in fashion. Natural makeup, maxi bags and maxi skirts and earth tones.
I am a 70's girl , love the fashion and the new 70 is a classic for me (thank you, kisses from Portugal)
I suddenly felt ugly out of nowhere and after watching 2 of your videos, I immediately felt good, inspired and beautiful/handsome. Thank you so much!
Yes! My uniform on repeat: leggings, boots, white shirt, leather jacket/trench, scarf. But what to do in 100 degree July and August?! 💖

I love a simple look. You are also inspiring me to thrift a trench coat. 🖤
Great video Jenny! Love the way you wear classic, streamlined, clothing pieces and accessorizing them to add impact to the looks 😍
Thank you so much! I have been working on my capsule wardrobe, and gradually decluttering what I don’t use anymore. It helps me to think about buying basics, and then dressing it up with add-ones.
Totally with you about the 60s being the most timeless decade!
Timeless, indeed!
That Givenchy necklace is divine!✨Thanks for this, Jenny...you're definitely my ultimate style expert!❤️

Agree with the 60s!!!!!! Even a little shift dress is classic and looks good on everyone...and yes to "basic" uniform!

Like the use of varying ACCESSORIES!
As a 60’s girl, I say absolutely! 70’s were not bad.
Glad to hear you classify 60s style as timeless. Since this was my coming of age era, I’m never quite sure if it’s nostalgia or really timeless.
I love the looks in photos but when I see it on the street these gives me such a tryhard feeling

Love your approach to feeling good
Yes! That's exactly me, repeat wearing the same favorite outfit!
Hi! Love your video’s! Can you do a video of the best basics? So what type of pieces and which brands offer good quality etc.
yes, I can wear the same outfit 2-3 days in a row, no problem. It makes the start of your day less stressful because you don't have to decide what to wear. You can get ready more quickly as well.

The 60’s sans the polyester I agree. I shop at good quality consignment stores so I get better quality clothes.
Thank you Jenny Mustard!
Sweet and short, love it!
30's and 90's. The 30's daytime look brought trousers and knits, the 90's clean hair and the most simple practical and appropriate outfits (also nobody had tattoos yet).
Yes 60's, yes, wearing basics (over and over) with add-ons!
Thanks for the belt tip! I was looking for one for a while but never considered to check the mens section 👍!
I needed this! I Just am getting a new job that I need to get a style for work for!
I would love a video about your bag collection and fav brands? ⚡️💘
Agreeing on simplicity and comfort for nighttime/event-wear. I have never regretted it. 🐻
I agree with you! Thank you for this film :) good job! Greetings from Poland
This is literally my style. Modern uniform and gold statement earrings.

I love your simple videos so much! Always looking forward for them
Thanks for the tips !! I Always find your videos helpful and inspirational
I Love your video. It is so inspiring and helpfull ♥️. Thanks for your great job and your positive energy you always send to us.
I love timeless looks 💋
Love your tips! Could I ask you where that beautiful blazer that you’re wearing is from? ☺️
Really love this approach. Only wish I could find something similar for men :)
yes agreee and thank you for your youtube wisdom
The boxy, high neck clothing you recommend isn't so flattering on short, curvy folks, so I can't really take that advice. But I love the jewelry + lips!
You know what? I love that bag.

Heyyy I'm early! I really like your videosss
Comfort is always key no matter the style
plus lipstick is so true
I learned that recently too
Audrey Hepburn...always timeless. Loved the video!
Loves this! Agree with all of it!
I have been looking for that very necklace for about a year now. I'm starting to feel like they only made one! Drat. Drat. Triple Drat.
1920s ❤
Which lipstick are you wearing? It s a gorgeous colour!
Anyone have a recommendation for great fitting “boy-ish” t shirts for a curvier figure? Looking for sleeves that are more square, less clingy like the ones Jenny is wearing in this video.
Arket had great ones
I am an outfit repeater too!
Awesome
I need more videos like this
YES the 60's was the best for everything! Fashion, decor, movies, TV...love it all.
Where does those feel good trousers come from ? :0
love love love
Jenny, do you ever make any of your own clothes? I've wondered that for a while.
Jenny, you're awesome :)
Not allowed jeans at work 😭, but we can wear crocs?
Mandatory question: Lipstick colour and manufacturer :)
#1 be slim
#2 now you look good in anything
I hate turtlenecks. I hate the feeling of being suffocated.

I’m a child of the 70s.Everything was great then.Anybody remember hot pants?😀
I was a teen in the 60’s. From firsthand, I cringe now whenever I see the 60’s fashions!
🖤

Well apparently looking good is a subjective matter.
Love you but please.slow.down.
