You weren't "unlucky" with the fog, that's just life in the city. It's literally always foggy! I lived there for 8 years and know firsthand. Did you make it to the Ferry building- that's always one of my fav spots!
Great tour of this beautiful city, my favorite in California. i used to live 3 hrs. north of it, and to travel quite a bit. the public transportation is good, and affordable. I love all different neighborhoods, and the beautiful Edwardian and Victorian buildings and houses. I didn't lik ethe hills and the Irish coffee. I love the theater, and museums. I love the Castro, and the Mission. I had a delicious chicken burrito. Most of the food been great. Sorry it's so expensive, yet I was there 2-3 days. Take care!
Thanks for this! We are heading there in May. 3 days in SF, 1 1/2 in Carmel/Big Sur, and 4 in Paso Robles. I was in SF for 1 day in August (majority of the time at Finca Castelero in Kelseyville) and Karl was relentless as well, never saw the GG bridge in all it's glory. Hopefully we'll have better luck in May!
Best San Francisco RUclips tour I have seen other than Wonderhussy. Bravo. I live in San Francisco. Next time, maybe include more of the Mission District, The Castro, and Valencia Street. Karl the Fog was originally a Twitter personality. Summer weather, expect fog. Our warm weather is in September and October.
San Francisco is fantastic destination! With so much to see and do! If you are coming from outside the US I would also recommend visiting Los Angeles while you there
You should really do more SF content. I'm sorry, but SF is just... more "you" than LA. There's a lot more city there to explore and get truly lost in. There's depth, history, culture. LA can be a lot of fun, especially in your 20s. But SF is just more... more of everything, more "West Coast" even. I'm not saying that you've made a mistake moving to LA. But SF is a special place.
SF has traditionally been CA's high-school homecoming queen, while LA has been the homely, pimply-faced student. Unexpected, unpredictable things happen to both types. In turn, in a world of Paris-London-Tokyo, etc, the US's NYC has sometimes been hyped by some as "world's greatest." That too has an unexpected, unpredictable quality about it
At the moment been watching Streets of San Francisco, in one episode they film a episode in the subway that was still being built. Mark Twain said his coldest winter was a summer in Frisco 😂 🎸 rock on brother
Michael, you are so 🥰😍😍😍 Next trip, see the real full house, house close by Alamo Sq at 1709 Broderick & might as well add the mrs Doubtfire house. Get into the Haight and find Jerry Garcia house too. Walk along the embarcadero from fisherman’s wharf to the ball park. Dive into the presidio (main post/visitor center, tunnel top park, Chrissy field) & find Yoda. Hike down to Marshall beach & enjoy close up views of the ggb Take the ferry to Sausalito & have brunch there. If you have time, take the ferry to Angel Island If you are around during the "summer months" take in a concert at Stern Grove Walk up the many stairs of SF (Lincoln steps, Esmeralda, Gilmore st, Lyon st & of course Macondray Lane) Excursion out to farallon islands In early October, when weather is nice its fleet week & blue angels. Enjoy SF & GO DODGERS!!
If you cannot find a local who can tell you the story behind Karl, its because there is no romantic story behind it .. its a recent term coined a few years ago on social media
You truly captured the essence of SF. I lived there for 9 years and now I’m in Switzerland for I don’t know how long but I’m missing my home ❤️

Just left this morning and it is definitely one of my favourite cities i have been to and can’t wait to go back
Loved the San Francisco tour Especially the not so touristy parts. It really is a beautiful city!!🍎💚

Visited SF for the first time this June. It's a place to return, time and again
Riding any of the Ferry's across the Bay is my favorite thing to do in SF... 🙂

love hearing people are equally as tired as I am walking around all the time

Great vid! Brought back some memories. My 9 years in SF was great, but I do prefer LA now actually. SF felt like a small town after a while.
Great video, glad Carl finally let you see the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge in all its glory,I love San Francisco 😊😊😊😊❤
what? no City Lights Books? no Castro? Haight Ashbury....? maybe past their prime but historically significant.
SF Summer is typically more in September, better bet to beat the fog. But glad you had a great time! Laughing at Karl ruining your view of the bridge
Nice coverage great finish
SF ❤️
going there in April - really looking forward to it
Nice video! So are you considering moving or do you prefer LA as a place to live? :)

Hey Mike, thanks for the video. Did you feel safe in SF?
ENJOYED 💜ENJOYED 💜
Nice video !
Love to see my city but nobody local calls the fog anything but fog. Maybe the marine layer but def not the K word.
Where can I download that map you have?
No mission or the gay part of town !!! Two places to visit
Hey give him a break! He was only here for a couple of days. There's always next time!
