This was the song I chose.for my dad's funeral last year. I can't hear without tears in my eyes, it's such a beautiful song that I'll forever associate with a tribute to a good man. Thank you Simple Minds for the memories you gave me with him throughout his life

Simple Minds ? What can you say about one of the greatest bands ever ! Timeless music and takes me back to my youth when life was simpler than now in 2022. I’m 60 and the 80s were undeniably the greatest for the best music. I listen to all my 80s music and I’m 17 again !

I first heard this beautifull song in Sydney 1991..it fills me with such raw heart felt emotion even to this day..I miss all the old trains that once ran in Sydney,but sadly no longer exist!..truly wonderfull heartfelt times!.
This was the first album I bought when I left home and moved into my flat. This was the song that I always come back for.

The very best of the 80's and 90's music, I still have the very best of Simple Minds on CD and still love to listen to it nearly 30 years later. I owned a pub a few years ago, and every Saturday it was always 80's and early 90's, a lot of the older customers, loved it and even the younger punters in their 20's thought it was proper chill music
