I currently use the Oneblade and it gives a very close shave with little to no irritation. I used to have the Japanese Made Feather and its also very well made but shaves about the same as any other DE razor. I also had a $8 Chinese made twist to open style that was very nicely made and shaved as well as that Feather for a heck of a lot less.
The OneBlade Genesis is my personal favourite. Thanks for watching.
I’ve had the Feather for seven years, use it every day, and love it. Its condition is exactly as the day I bought it. Two passes and it gives me a wonderful shave always using Feather blades. Best wishes to you.
i just got mine! life ravor for sure
@@j.aghorbani5197 Great! I hope you enjoy it.
Feather AS D2 is the MVP
I like my model t and 1962 gillette slim adjustable, they seem perfect in shaving.
I was surprised at how good the Rockwell T2 is and the Gillette Slim is one of the all-time great razors.
Thanks for watching.
Brian
@@ExecutiveShaving only one complaint on model t razor is the 1/8 inch gap on the corners,if not careful it will cut you.
Have the Rex and Genesis...waiting for delivery of the Feather. Am addicted to razors now because of your videos and website. Shaving was a chore that had to be done and is now my 'me' time where I relax most. Think I get as much enjoyment from inexpensive razors as I do from these but I enjoy collecting and using a variety. Thanks for the great videos and igniting my new interest in shaving.
This is such an amazing thing to read and we are so happy we could be part of this with you! The feather is a stunning razor, one of Brian's favourites. Thank you for watching.
The Rex Ambassador is my personal favourite. I also have the Feather AS-D2. But the Feather turned out a bit too mild for my liking.
Thanks for watching - couple of great razors you have! I agree, the Feather can be deemed too mild for many folk and it needs to be held at a slightly different angle to maximum efficiency.
I think that stainless steel version of OneBlade is probably better suited to a person who likes the kind of shave it gives but is not a "wet shaver" per se. I think of it as a One and Done type razor while the other two would be exceptionally good gifts for the wet shaving enthusiast because A; they will probably enjoy the shave they give and B, they collect razors and will enjoy them as art pieces as well as shaving implements that their shave den would be incomplete without.
I would class myself as a true wet shaver and the Genesis has been my go-to razor since June 2018.

The Oneblade is a awesome razor. I much prefer it over my nice Timeless Titanium DE. The oneblade gives a closer less irritating shave, and faster as well.
Hi. Came by your Glasgow location in early September (2019) with Kevin (Kevyshaves). Your products are top shelf...loved your Bay Rum shaving cream sample...fantastic in every way! Merry Christmas!!!
Hi Todd, I remember you and of course Kevin too. Thanks for your kind words and thanks too for watching!

Luxury and quality control go hand in hand. Hard to beat Muhle for the money
Thanks for watching and can't agree more about MÜHLE products!
Hi MMM, could you kindly recommend the razor from them please?( Muhle)
@@troecurov3 r41 twist is my favorite. The closed comb r89 is mild but a nice shave
Hmmm
I think feather is my choice 💈🪒👍🏼overall in every aspect

They're all good, my favourite has to be the peerless Genesis.
Brian
Hey I just bought a feather WS-D2S with the wooden resin handle I’m wondering what would be the perfect shave brush to go with it I know you have one in your personal collection, I just wanted to know if you had a good match for it thanks -Daniel
Hi Daniel - great choice of razor! We don't have anything that matches the handle finish exactly. Did you have a budget in mind and we can take a look at options?
Is merkur 34c a good razor? Rate it out of 10
The Merkur 34C is a good razor! It's suitable for most people and will deliver a close, comfortable shave. It is a mild razor so depends what you're looking for but we would give it 8/10.
Timeless is better

Better how? Honest question...I’m looking to learn. My first and ONLY foray into the wet shave world is the all stainless Genesis, and it has been the most pleasant, irritation free, efficient shave I have EVER experienced. As far as I know that is the name of the game...efficiency/no irritation. If you feel inclined, please share your thoughts...my next will likely be something from executive shave, so any information prior to would be appreciated.
Rex head is wayyy to bulky
No-one has ever said that about the Rex, it has a low-profile head.
Thanks for watching.
Brian
Translation. "The Rex is too expensive for me. So I have to say something negative.".
