The way they do it just makes it super lame and the only way we are supposed to know that Bran is up to something was "any word on drogon? maybe I'll find him". I wouldn't even mind these quotes from Bran if they wouldn't have left so many questions already unanswered. @TheLastTargaryen I think it's both happy and trash. They banged up over the head with the fact that Dany was evil now, so Jon killing her was expected and needed for the betterment of the world because she became Hitler. All the "good guy" characters ended up happy and at peace. At worst, you can say Jon didn't become king, but he never wanted to be king, and he goes back up in the far north smiling. Tyrion is hand and acknowledged like he wanted to be, Bronn got his castle, Bran is king somehow, Sansa is queen, Arya is adventuring, Davos is on the king's council, Sam is a maester, Brienne head of the knights. This was the only time in the episode that I cried because Daenerys really was good. All she wanted was to free slaves. For me when Drogon destroyed the throne it was him saying " if she can't sit on the throne no one can". She wasn't evil or mean or even mad, she was a good character throughout the entire show and she had an incredible hero's journey it's sad to see it end like this. Her downfall as a hero was rushed and the decisions she has made in the past doesn't match the consequences she faced. No matter what Daenerys Targaryen will always be my Queen.

Here's why Grey Worm wouldn't have killed Jon: Two major reasons: (1) Grey Worm made a promise to Missandei to protect Naath when the war was over; (2) Grey Worm is an experienced general who understands warfare.
Because of (1) Grey Worm didn't want to do anything that would certainly ended in his death (and by extension is inability to fulfill his promise). Because of (2) he knows darn well that without Drogon, the people of Westeros, even just the North, stood a good shot at destroying the Unsullied if they killed Jon Snow.
If he's dead, he can't fulfill his promise. So he took Jon prisoner instead.

Tyrion was the worst advisor ever and they reward him with the Hand Of The King title💀💀💀
Why Arya wants to explore when her brother literally knows everything? She just arrived home and suddenly she wants to leave💀💀💀
Dany's ending was just so cringy. The writers tried too hard to make her mad and it was so obvious. Jon's entire Targaryen arc was created to make Daenerys jealous🤣🤣🤣 Like...? They should've made Dany the queen and THEN start making her mad throughout the season. It would've be cool if she ended like her father. BUT AS A QUEEN OF WESTEROS.
Jon's arc? His entire purpose was to kill the Night King, spent years at the Night's watch preparing himself for nothing. His little sister killed his target.
Arya? She got her revenge back in season 6 and they tried to make her relevant for no reason
Sansa? I guess her ending is not that bad. BUT WHY ONLY THE NORTH GOT INDEPENDECE? Dorne always wanted indendence and The Iron Islands even united with Dany only with the condition of getting self-government. But the North just asks to be free from the seven kingdoms and the king who is a northener accepts💀💀💀💀

I wish everyone had paid attention when Tormund said what he said to Jon in episode 4 about him “belonging in the true north” after Jon said that was where Ghost would be happiest - I feel like the writers were telling us, the audience, exactly what Jon Snow’s happy ending would be right then and there and then this episode sealed it. I thought his ending was as perfect as it could be. He doesn’t want to be King north of the Wall. He doesn’t want to be King of the North. He doesn’t want to be King of the 6 Kingdoms. He doesn’t want (and never has wanted) to be King. He wanted to find a place he was happy and belonged and he found that with the free folk (a long time ago with Ygritte, actually). Hence, the writers having Tormund say what he said to him in ep. 4 and hence him getting exactly what he wanted - a place he belongs with complete freedom. (Yes, I like the word, “hence.” Lol) Plus, he gets the added bonuses of: 1. Signs that summer is coming even north of the wall (that shot of the green sprouting through the snows as they leave the wall), 2. A fantastic drinking buddy/“laugh-with-me”/knows the kind of “free folk chick he loves” friend in Tormund, lol, and, of course, 3. GHOST! I couldn’t be happier for Jon.
And, I enjoyed this season and the ending (aside from the hysterical sobbing that occurred when I saw Drogon’s reaction to Dany’s death - but then what is GoT without a good gut punch?). Was this season perfect? Of course not. But I rolled with it so I could enjoy it and not come out bitter over a show I have loved from the start. I wish more people had done the same, but to each their own. Thank you, guys, for another great reaction! ✌🏻❤️

If you think about it Daenerys got what she wanted albeit not the way she intended. The wheel was broken. No longer will there be a monarch not fit to rule. Everyone ended up being where they belonged. Unpredictable ending but fitting given what these characters were and how their arcs were developed. Jon belonged in the real north. Sam was meant to be a meister. Brienne was meant to be a leader of knights. Given what Bran has become there really was no one better to be king. Sansa deserved to be Queen of the North given all she went through and if it weren’t for her they would never have taken back the north from the Boltons. Arya had no place as a lady in Westeros and she was meant to be explore the world. Bronn finally got the castle he earned. Davos was put in a high position of influence suitable to his talents. And Podrick got to be a knight. Oh and almost forgot to mention Tyrion was meant to be the Hand.

I loved that ending. Jon going to the NW pissed me off at first, but it's what he wanted. He said he wished he could go with Tormund and Ghost and he's gonna be King beyond the wall. I feel like they did the characters justice, it was a bittersweet ending given what averything cost

In a way Jon, Arya and Sansa got what they always wanted cuz from the beginning of season 1 itself, Jon wanted to join the night's watch, Sansa wanted to be a queen and Aarya wanted to escape from the life of a lady and explore the world. The story ends beautifully.
