    Great review.
Wish I could Fly a wing half as good!
    Unreal stuff thanks GCRC.

Nah, the gyro was doing most of the work ;-)
I just finished adjusting the linkage so I hope that gets rid of the oscillations.

Great review. Curious for the 2nd test. I have 2 of these frames and they seem to be 'tamed' with byme-d 👍

      These Byme Gyros are fantastic.

For me I just use my glue gun and make a small puddle and then touch the gyro to it and hold it so that it’s resting on top of the glue puddle and wait til it dries then I’m done. To remove I use a small paint brush and some isopropyl alcohol to wet the glue and it releases 🎉

@@theoztreecrasher2647 no doubt it’s better but I have over 1000 flights and not one time has the gyro become undone 🥂 how about yourself?

Tony. Good timing for this video. I have the byme d and got the receiver r8ef to go with it. Now I am building the GFY mini f22 at 110%. To go along with my 125% one. Question. Ever thought to flip the servos so the linkage is under the wing?

Yes, as a matter of fact the next re-design will be that way.
For this design I was trying to make the center mass as compact as possible from nose to tail, side to side, and top to bottom.
When you do that the aircraft will rotate very easily in all 3 axis.
Since the control rods are very long you either have to reinforce the control rods so they don't flex or pull from the top.
I chose to pull from the top.
If you locate the servos on the bottom so they push the elevator up rather than pull the elevator up I would recommend locating them close to the elevons so the control rods are short and won't flex or reinforcing the control rods, otherwise, in a high speed dive you may find you have very little elevator to pull up ;-)

Very Interesting, and well put together !! It will be great to see if your counter oscillation strategy works out .... So, I was thinking to get some kind of stabilisation system for the arrows viper 50mm right out of the gate. I notice arrow's do an 'Arrows vector Stabilizer' product which is sold as an add-on with the viper or BAe Hawk. Do you have any thoughts on whether the Byme would be better ? if it's 'Byme' I'm guessing the -A would be appropriate ? They both seem great value. Cheers, Phil (uk)

      Thank You!
The Radiolink Byme-D seems to be a bit more sensitive on the gains than the Byme-A but I think setting up the linkage for maximum movement of the servo arm is the best way to setup a plane for any gyro.
My Arrows Pioneer has the Arrows Vector Gyro installed in it and it performs very well.
I think the the Radiolink Byme-A does a better job with Wind Mitigation than the Vector Gyro.
The only Jet that I have a Gyro in is my Converted Eachine F-16 50mm EDF Jet which has a pusher motor and prop rather than an EDF Unit and the Byme-A works very well in that Jet.
I just released a flight video of it today and I used Fully Stabilized Mode for Launch and the rest of the flight is in Wind Mitigation Mode.
Even with Full Throttle passes the Byme-A was very solid.
      See you in the Air!

@@GroundControlRC Many thanks. I'll go with the Byme-A for the Viper. 'Cheap as chips' here in the Uk also which is helpful when starting out ...

hey i just bought a delta wing and i got it all setup. I didn't know how powerful this thing is. I am a little nervous about flying this thing around people. Im still gonna fly it thats not even a question, but i do have some concerns. Any tips on launching it? should I throw it like a football?

    • @GroundControlRC

I used to do just that until the prop caught me and I had to get my finger stitched up ;-)
I launch my Wings and Parkjets by the wingtip now.
It feels a bit awkward at first but after a few launches it's fairly mundane.
