My passenger side drain was plugged and I tried to blow it out with compressed air. It blew the tube off the firewall drain plug, which is really hard to get to. I did exactly what is shown in the video, and it drains better than ever. It's nice to have dry carpet again!

It's been a little while and we have had a ton of rain, some very heavy. No more water in the Jeep. This works. On to the Dodge Ram for the same.

Cool thanks, I would probably just connect the new line to the old line with some duct tape then as you pull the old line out the new line goes right into place.

Very good video thanks, but how do you know it is your drain tube and not the seal around the sun roof? Thanks

In my case, it was where the water was coming in. It wasn't wet or leaking around the sunroof itself, but was soaking the head liner in the front corners over the windshield. To be fair, I don't know where it would leak if it was the seal, but replacing the tube did fix the issue, in my case. Thanks for watching.

plug the old tubes on the bottom so no bugs or anything climb in and make nests

What size hose did you use. I'm having the same problem.

Good question. I think it was 3/8 inside diameter but best bet is to disassemble first and take a piece of the old one with you. It's been a while, but I believe I bought 10 feet which was more than enough. Thanks for watching

LOL. That works too. My truck wouldn't stop leaking even with new tubes so not sure exactly where it was leaking but it was from the sun roof. So, on the outside I cleaned all the rubber and glass really well with alcohol, then sealed the whole thing with an outdoor/exterior rated silicon. No more leak. I can still open the inside cover to let the sun in but leave the glass closed.
