What an amazing man! Such a wealth of knowledge, I could listen to him for hours and never be bored. I learnt so much from him in such a small amount of time. Thankyou so much for introducing Albert Handell to me.
I love pastels but worry about the permanence of the finished painting. Do you put them under glass or use a spray fixative? It seems to darken the painting. Just wondering what your thoughts were. Thank you for your instruction!
May I ask why it would be better to do a video than an in person? I’ve been considering buying a video but thinking it might not be as good. What is brutal about in person? Never done that before so I’m interested in your perspective. Thanks!
Questions; why 2 chrome oxide green deep / gray of gray & neutral gray they look blue gray? The palette layout doesn’t show all the colors he spoke of?
Such a gem. So humble. Thank you. I am grateful for you sharing his life stories. Grounded.

His paintings are beautiful, and he is full of wonderful information of how to paint. Best to just buy video and learn. In person, lessons are brutal!

Albert, I don't know if you read these comments or not, but what years were you at the Art Student's League? I'm wondering if you knew my father.
