One of the regrets we have as children is hindering our father from getting remarried after our mom passed. Our father honored our wishes but his health deteriorated quickly. We have been providing 24/7 care for our father. I wish we had supported him but we were just too broken to see anyone else in our mom’s place. Please allow your parents to love again. From my heart to yours ❤️ Blessing to the Evans children for supporting your father. You will be happy you did.
God bless you. Your words are heartfelt and very moving and touching. May the Grace of God and the sweet communion of The Holy Spirit rest upon you and your siblings and may our Heavenly Father cover you in your regrets.

What a BEAUTIFUL heartfelt and very respectful engagement announcement!! ❤ A lot of people fail to realize that when your spouse dies, your duty to remain faithful to that spouse is fulfilled. The vows are “til death do us part.” ❤
I have always admired Dr. Tony Evans . His walk speaks for itself. I am so happy that God has sent him a wife for his mature years. Blessings on Blessings on Blessings to them both.
You don’t know how much I appreciate this comment; it honestly set me straight. Mrs. Evan’s was Proverbs 31 personified and is truly missed. I commend our pastor on the decorum and respect used towards this announcement.
I totally agree! My late husband's older children couldn't accept their dad marrying someone that was a couple of years younger than him. I loved my late husband, he was happy, and that was all that mattered. We were married for 151/2 years, I took care of him until his death.
Beautiful and beautifully presented. They announced their engagement with class, honoring their lost loved ones, while asking for continued prayers as God leads them forward to new love!🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
I also remarried 4 years later after my husband passed away. It’s been a process of ups and downs blessings, growth and continued healing. Not easy but beautiful because of God Almighty!!
I'm happy for You Dr Evans and I'm happy for the support from your children it is truly a blessing I pray God's blessings over you and Your Fiance through this new journey that brings you together congratulations🎊🎉🙌

I literally cried...tears of happiness when I heard this news. I've never met this family but I've often prayed for them, specifically for Dr. Evans to find love again. God is really so special & does special things for His children💞 May He bless this new union🙏
When I became a born again believer Dr. Evans and Pastor Charles Stanley were one of the first teachers to break down the word of God to this then “babe” in Christ. I relocated to Dallas after Grad school and enjoyed the teaching and wisdom that he continued to deliver in EVERY season. He has been faithful through loss, hardship, COVID, and has been a symbolic spiritual father to many souls. I love his example of walking in God’s promises. Even in this decision, I believe he is honoring the Lord. Thank you for all that you have done and been to me in my faith walk Dr. Evans. Though I have moved further away, you STILL are my favorite voice and teacher regarding the gospel of Christ. May you RICHLY enjoy the goodness of God and the Fruit of your labor in EVERY season of life!
I can relate to this. For me it is Dr Tony Evans, Dr Charles Stanley and Pastor Chuck Swindoll. I live in the other side of the world but listening to their sermons and teachings online helped me so much in my spiritual walk. I am forever grateful for them. Im really glad OCBF puts up the livestreams of the preachings. It feels like I am there.
Same here. Another pastor to consider is the late Derek Prince, his sermons are online. I have received a solid foundations on doctrine, faith and practical encouragement from these gentlemen.
@@reginap4908 Thanks for sharing your precious testimony. I live in the state of Texas, but I am an hour away from the church. I just might have to visit the church 2 weekends out of the month since I’m IN the state! 😊
@@NinaCAmen… I like pastor Swindoll’s theology as well. I didn’t listen to him as much, but he also shared a similar space on the radio. Did you also listen to the radio series “unshackled” or “Night Sounds” with Bill Pearce? Such a sweet time for me as a new believer, such wonderful teachers. ❤
Dr. Evans has been a grand example to me of how to navigate the christian life with honesty integrity and real love for the Lord and His Word! Thank you Sir and Congratulations 🎉
I have discerned a lot here. Currently in the position of the Evans children. Pray for your father and live your life is what the Lord told me when my dad remarried. Wishing them all the best.
He and Mrs. Lois Evans were very much looking forward to retirement travels. They worked so hard for so many years and were coming to a time that they could relax. May Dr. Evans enjoy this new season of his life with his new partner and may he get to do all of the things -.and more - that he always hoped to do. AMEN
Just looking at Sweet Priscilla I can almost feel her pain. It’s the pain of that lump in the back of your throat that you have to hold there or else you’ll break down crying. Holding it in is painful. I hope she finds peace to release that pain. Knowing that her mother is so proud of her and that she’ll see her again 🩷
Her Daddy didn’t wait 4yrs want b until Dec 31 so when did the court ship began or is the sister that needed all that counseling Dr Evans was talking about
I attended the Legacy Live event in April and when his 4mo of marriage came up everyone smiled for him. It's hard, I went through it too but she may have felt that she was losing her mom all over again. I agree it's the end of something but also a beginning.
I cried so hard after the loss of Mrs. Lois. This kind of makes me feel some type of way. But life is to be lived and the bonds of marriage are no more. May the Lord bless their union.
I’m speechless, proud and filled with Joy to be able to see this man of God live out his life in such fashion that God is well pleased. When I was a kid, I use to say I want to be like Mike, when I became a man I wanted to be like Christ. Dr Tony Evans thank you for being that father I always wanted.
Congratulations on your engagement. Both of you are deserving of being joined together in marriage since both of your spouses are deceased. God bless and keep you both. 🙏🙏🙏✝️✝️✝️☝️☝️☝️
Congratulations to you both. I am a 51 year old widow. My husband passed 10 years ago as a result of a Terrible car accident. I am praying for my future King. I know God will allow us to meet when the time is right. Once again congratulations. May God continue to bless your beautiful union.
Your wife was a true woman of God... may Dr. Crummie be all that you need...again... I loved Sister Evans and miss her greatly. This is hard but I know we all have to move on! May God bless your union. ❤
My father and mother have been married for all of my 46yrs and are still together both in their 70s and reasonably healthy. However, if one of them passed I would not stand in the way of either of them remarrying. You can die from loneliness. Their happiness is paramount to me. Congratulations Dr Tony Evans.❤️🙏🏾
This brought tears to my eyes. I believe if my dad had found someone after my mom died, he would still be here. He was engaged and then called it off. He just kept comparing everyone to my mom. I am happy to see Pastor Evans find balance. Congratulations 🎉.
I am happy for them both! As a Pastor myself, I was brought to literal tears watching the response of the Church throughout the announcement! Thank you, Jesus!
“He who finds a wife finds a good thing And obtains favor from the LORD.” Prov 18:22 Congratulations Dr Evans and Dr Crummie. Prayers for this new journey.
This was done so delicately and gently. Such a beautiful and delicate introduction that allows the in person audience to walk along with this family. Many blessings on this new relationship!
Having gone through something very similar in 2007 , I have remarried to a Godley woman and have been so blessed by God. More than I deserve . I was watching this video and felt so much joy for you both. Praise the living God for His tender mercy. May God continue to bless you both as you move forward in this life. 🙏
One thing I love about Dr. Evans is his spiritual maturity, and never shying away from difficult topics. I love the way he navigates this sensitive issue of re-marrying with grace, dignity and respect for his children and church family. He deserves our prayers, support and love. That we will do as they both enter into a new season of what God has called them to do. ❤💯Love from Across the Pond.

Congratulations to Dr. Evans and his fiance. He is one of the pastors I listen to weekly. Here, he does not only preach it but demonstrates what he preaches - a powerful example to us all in several different ways 🙏🏽
Congratulations Dr Evans. Read your devotions daily. My husband's been gone from this world 16 yrs on the 13th of this month. It took me 11 yrs before a man of God in my church asked to date him. It was awkward at first. Then covid hit and took him along with his 2 brothers. We'd dated almost 2 yrs. After 2 marriages and dating its me and Jesus now. Happy for you.
I thank The Lord for the example that this Man of God displayed. His respect for God, his family, and his church speaks volumes of the integrity The Lord has bestowed upon his heart. Prayers to you and your entire family as you and Dr. Carla, embark on this new journey together ❤
I was just thinking two days ago as I was listening to one of his sermons. He deserves a wife (another chance at a marriage) but I know everyone grieves differently and then I see this. Wow ! I’m so happy for them both . I’m sure each of their late spouses would approve. So happy to see his children supporting him in this new chapter of his life. Praise God !
I visited your church with my 5 month old daughter Wisdom Way over 25 years ago and Lady Lois held Wisdom during and after the service. We had a beautiful conversation about the name of the street the church was on and my daughter. 💕 Congratulations as you walk forward in Christ!
Congratulations, Drs Evans and Crummie, on your engagement. The display of family support is a testament to the love for the Lord exemplified in the Evans home. Blessings as you continue along the path God had placed before you.

Dr. Evans, when you were at Glen Este church in Batavia, Ohio, the Lord put a word in my heart about you. He said you were in communion with a lady. That you would be getting married. Wow! God is so good. My husband and I got together four years ago, after suffering great losses. We were 65 when God brought us together as man and wife. You are never too old to ding love again. God bless you both!
Congratulations Dr. Evans!!! You deserve every moment's happiness. Dr. Lois Evans will never be forgotten. Welcome Dr. Carla to the Urban Alternative family. Truly a blessing to see Dr. Evans with you.
Congratulations Dr. Evans! I love the way you were sensitive to the grief of your church. It takes a while to heal from such a painful loss. This explains perfectly why you are loved around the world. I love your children for supporting you the way they do! It is not good for men to be alone. You’re one of the hardest working pastors I’ve ever seen. So glad that God has given you this sovereign balance. You deserve it!! Congratulations Dr. Tony Evans and Dr. Carla Crummie! I'm thankful for the paths the Lord gives us in life, to share with others. I know your steps together has been ordained in the spirit, not only to have another partner in life, but in God's glorification of two people coming together, to continue their walk in the Lord and sharing that gift of one unity. Congratulations! This was so classy and well done. And most of all honourable to God. They fulfilled their vows to their previous spouses. God bless their union and marriage 🙏🏾
Throughout the year, I kept periodically re-watching his very first sermon of the new year he preached in January 2023 titled "Through New Eyes." This was very unexpected, but it explains the sermon about God doing something new in this year in 2023. It fills me with hope knowing that the year is not over yet. God has something in store for His children. I'm believing God for my husband and I to connect before this year is over, in Jesus' name. To God be the glory. May God bless their union.

I am so happy for Dr Evans and Dr Crummie. Lois set the bar high, so for it to even be a consideration, speaks well of Dr Crummie. Lois loved Dr Evans and would want him to keep living. He was faithful to Lois in life and she is certainly not forgotten in death. His children support this decision, so let's all wish them both well. This is a blessing from the hand of the Lord to Dr Evans.
I was sick to my stomach to first hear about Dr. Evans's loss. I was wondering why God allowed this to happen. He had brought me to Christ when I was in a dark time. For what it's worth, I'm ecstatic you've found someone to share the rest of your life with. Doesn't hurt she's a real looker 🙂

It's been four years , and according to the bible it's perfectly fine for them to remarry . Many years together Pastor Evans for you and your new bride to be .To GOD be the Glory !
It is so sad when children lose a parent and protecting the memories of a parent is usually done it seems by asking another parent not to move on. We have travelled that road it was not easy but with much prayer and acceptance we learnt to foster enough love to embrace without bitterness and resentment the other parent choice. A few years later we are still a happy family. not easy but worth the effort. Congratulations Dr. Evans and family. May God's blessing be upon you as you move forward with the new woman of God.
Okay, now I can really say yes I can move on! I lost my dad and my husband June 13 and July 14 2022 respectively. I’ve had to deal with grief in a terrible way but seeing this just revived my hope! I am still young and I can get it right again by God’s grace. Thank you Dr Evans, you’re forever a blessing. Thank You Jesus!

Me too! He preached at my church back in the late 80’s or early 90’s, my pastor was a member of Moody at the time. I have attended other speaking engagements of his. Like you, I have been listening to Dr. Evans for over 30 years.
I was totally shocked and surprised. I never thought Pastor Evan’s would remarry. However, he loved and still loves Dr. Lois and no one will ever take her place. NO-ONE. He deserves a companion if he chooses. I don’t know his fiancé but if he chose her she must be a great person. I will always love and treasure Dr. Lois Evan’s regardless. Praying for the family. I do feel sad though.
It’s ok, I did too, but it quickly passed. We love our Pastor and his family so much, we think of him as our spiritual father too and Dr Lois was our spiritual mother… As he said, it was like opening that wound of grief again with the announcement, but He did EVERYTHING with such class and sensitivity, that we were able to recovery quickly and find JOY and celebrate with him in this moment! I do not place this man on any pedestal, but we all must agree that he WALKS, TALKS and MOVES with ORDER and CLASS!

I'm happy for You Dr Evans and I'm happy for the support from your children it is truly a blessing I pray God's blessings over you and Your Fiance through this new journey that brings you together congratulations🎊🎉🙌
So happy for you Dr.Evans
Amen. We are steward not owner . It is honor to be called into the stewardship again. May the Lord continue to work in both of yours life his love for you and show both of you his commitment in you .
I literally cried...tears of happiness when I heard this news. I've never met this family but I've often prayed for them, specifically for Dr. Evans to find love again. God is really so special & does special things for His children💞 May He bless this new union🙏
So Grateful, what an awesome God, Congratulations to the both of you
God's blessings on these dear ones and all the extended family.

He is a class act for sure. I love this whole family. 🙏🏽✝️🤍
I have discerned a lot here. Currently in the position of the Evans children. Pray for your father and live your life is what the Lord told me when my dad remarried. Wishing them all the best.
Congratulations Dr Evans, it’s very encouraging to know you’re never too old to find love.
Amen on that. Age has nothing to do with it--it's what's in your head and heart❤

He and Mrs. Lois Evans were very much looking forward to retirement travels. They worked so hard for so many years and were coming to a time that they could relax. May Dr. Evans enjoy this new season of his life with his new partner and may he get to do all of the things -.and more - that he always hoped to do. AMEN
We cried with your family in the losses. Now crying again in Gods gain for your family … Hallelujah!
Her Daddy didn’t wait 4yrs want b until Dec 31 so when did the court ship began or is the sister that needed all that counseling Dr Evans was talking about
There can be only ONE!
I congratulate them!! It’s a blessing to find true love.❤❤
Romans 5 kJV ✝️🩸 cool name ♥️

Congratulations on your engagement. Both of you are deserving of being joined together in marriage since both of your spouses are deceased. God bless and keep you both. 🙏🙏🙏✝️✝️✝️☝️☝️☝️
Beautiful words….🙏🏽🙏🏽💕
Congratulations to you both. I am a 51 year old widow. My husband passed 10 years ago as a result of a Terrible car accident. I am praying for my future King. I know God will allow us to meet when the time is right. Once again congratulations. May God continue to bless your beautiful union.
Your wife was a true woman of God... may Dr. Crummie be all that you need...again... I loved Sister Evans and miss her greatly. This is hard but I know we all have to move on! May God bless your union. ❤
Congratulations Dr. Evans! We are so thrilled for you. The Lord bless and keep you
My father and mother have been married for all of my 46yrs and are still together both in their 70s and reasonably healthy. However, if one of them passed I would not stand in the way of either of them remarrying. You can die from loneliness. Their happiness is paramount to me. Congratulations Dr Tony Evans.❤️🙏🏾
Same. My parents are in their 70s and if either of them wanted to remarry after death of a spouse I'd plan the wedding.
Congratulation Dr Evans and Dr Carla! This announcement is truly classy. May God be glorified!
God never closes one door without opening another. I am so happy for you both. I love the way you introduced her.
Congratulations to my pastor! Im so happy God placed someone in your life. We love you pastor and we celebrate your happiness 🙌🏽🥰
It's a joy to see two children of God coming together after losses to share their journeys together. Congratulations Dr Evans and Dr Carla.
“He who finds a wife finds a good thing And obtains favor from the LORD.” Prov 18:22
Congratulations Dr Evans and Dr Crummie.
Congratulations!! I've been praying for them ever since I heard the news. May people be kind and may God get all the glory.
AMEN!
Amen. God bless you too
Look at the Lord, how he restores and heals at the same time.
Congratulations you too🎉🎉🎉
A BIG Heartfelt Congratulations to Dr. Tony Evans 🎉 and to His wonderful supporting children and grandchildren may GOD continue to bless you ALL 🙏
Not a member of Oak Cliff, but a fan of the entire Evans family for years through Moody radio and RUclips. So happy for Pastor Evans and his fiance. May God richly bless you two and your blended families.
Wow! This is beautiful! I'm glad he found someone , they look great together
God bless you I'm so happy Jesus gave you somebody may he bless me with somebody as well in Jesus name
You Can Get Another Spouse, Never Another Mother, My Heart Still Goes Out To All Of Them....
I like to watch body languages and I decided to watch this announcement without the volume...Wow!
I visited your church with my 5 month old daughter Wisdom Way over 25 years ago and Lady Lois held Wisdom during and after the service. We had a beautiful conversation about the name of the street the church was on and my daughter. 💕 Congratulations as you walk forward in Christ!
You’re the first parent I’ve met with a daughter named Wisdom like mine. She is 5yrs old 😊
Congratulations, Drs Evans and Crummie, on your engagement. The display of family support is a testament to the love for the Lord exemplified in the Evans home. Blessings as you continue along the path God had placed before you.
CONGRATULATIONS! To Dr. Evans and his fiancée and to the Evans children for supporting their father in this life decision. My prayers and very best wishes to all of them. May God’s blessings be abundantly over them, in Jesus’ name, Amen
I really like the way he included their similarities in his introduction of her. This was so eloquently done. I pray the blessing of God on them both.
May the Lord bless and keep you and your new fiancé in perfect peace in your union as you keep your minds on Christ and His love for you both. I pray the blessings of great joy and wisdom for you both in Jesus Mighty name, amen 🙏🏽
Amen. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
As a long time follower and friend of Dr. Evans, I'm 💯 supportive of his decision to remarry. Praying for a smooth transition during this time! Congratulations 🎊 👏
One thing I have learned in my life and in teaching the Bible, it is not good for man or women to be alone. I think this introduction well done. I hope the family will share new joy and memories 😊
The facial expression of his children tells more. As Dr Evans said, "Its a sensitive time."
It's a sensitive time, but I'll follow my own desires despite how my children feel..
Amen. My mum who is widowed after Dad's passing has listened to your preaching. ❤
This brings beautiful tears of gratitude to my eyes. I’m so thankful the Lord brought these two together with the support of their families. Excited to see these upcoming years unfold. ❤✝️
Hi Dr Tony Evans, I can’t begin to tell you how much this news has made my day. I’m 56 so your probably not old enough to be my dad, but I look up to you in the absence of my own father and tell you that I’m proud of you. Your messages are life saving and I thank God for your life and pending marriage. God bless you both. I’m pleased that you both get a chance at finding love ❤️.
UK 🇬🇧 is behind you all the way man of God. Well done 🙏
Congrats to them. She is 53 so you are closer in age. Once again, Congrats to the new couple.
God bless the both of you on your new journey. I have been praying in advance for your marriage, that God would bless it and seal it with HIS blood, in Jesus name
I am so happy for Dr. Evans and Dr. Crummie. Love is everlasting….and never fails. I pray they remain in the palm of God’s Hands. Congratulations!!!!❤️☺️
God bless you both and your families.
Congratulations! This was so classy and well done. And most of all honourable to God. They fulfilled their vows to their previous spouses. God bless their union and marriage 🙏🏾
Well that was unexpected... Congratulations pastor ❤
I thought he was going to say he was going to retire
Unexpected and somewhat awkward. I hope & pray this goes well for everyone.
Such a beautiful way to introduce your bride to be. Congratulations and blessings to you both.
I'm beyond elated 🤗 for you all. God has a way of making everything okay .There's nobody like the Lord Jesus. Congratulations, May God bless your union 🙏🏾
I know it's difficult for them because it's difficult for me and I'm not even a family. It's okay. God knows what he's doing.😢
Congratulations! This reminds me of a former pastor a few years back. He became a widower, then he married another widow. God brings hurting people together. God bless you both!
Wow. Prayers for the whole family. This is hard for me and I’m not even in the family. I want the Lord’s best for them, but my heart goes out to the kids! God bless the church and the children and the new couple.
This cannot be easy for everyone to accept! To me, his children aren't expressing too much joy, or happiness! But I feel everyone deserves to have someone in their life! His grown children are a very classy group! My prayers go out to all! 🙏💙
I'm not happy w this whether it's acceptable or not... it makes me sad
@@hhholmes714life goes on though, this is how God works , this is his plan . Doesn’t matter who likes it or not
Yeah I peeped that too, hopefully they will grow to accept it , they’re still healing & hurting & it’s understandable.
I was shocked. I understand and respect it. I wish them both well.
I’d like to see how any of us would act in their shoes!🙄 And yes, all four of them (as well as Dr. Evans and his first wife) are class acts.
In tears right now! Congratulation Dr. Tony and Dr. Carla! May God continue to bless your union!
This is a blessing from the hand of the Lord to Dr Evans.
well said!
I’ve been listening to Dr. Tony Evans over 20yrs, I’m so happy for him and his future wife! Congratulations to you both! Gods Continued Blessings🙌🏽🎉
Congratulations Dr. Tony & Dr. Carla! May the LORD continue to pour out HIS Grace and Mercy upon you both.
God has a purpose that we do not know is good he can move on when we get to be with Jesus we all will be sisters and brothers so there is no question of who's husband he will be
As a member of OCBF I greatly appreciate Dr Evans willingness to share some of the intimate details of his journey with us. He has been so transparent and so open and honest. It gives credit to the fact that he is REAL.
Congratulations to you both!
God bless the Evan's children for supporting and standing by their Dad in his recent engagement. I know they still miss their mom, but their love for their Dad caused them to let God's love shine through them.
❤️ beautiful
I love that his children are there to support him. So beautiful ❤️❤️❤️😢
May God bless Dr Evans and his new fiance. And the Evans family as a whole in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
Congratulations Dr. Evans and Dr. Crummie on your engagement. God is truly great and His blessings be with you all and this union that He has brought together. Amen❤🙏
The careful and respectful approach is to be admired. Praying God's infinite blessings upon Dr. Evans, his new fiancé, and their families.
I love this! Look at the LOVE of the siblings, holding hands and standing with their father. Congratulation To you Brother Evans and your Beautiful family! To God Be The GLORY!
God Bless both of you...I remember when your wife passed I was going through a medical diagnosis and I watched your sermons and found encouragement...I pray you and your fiance all the happiness and joy🙏🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Congratulations! I can see how Happy He is! Love for one does not diminish the love for another.
Said and done with beauty, eloquence and respect. Congratulations ❤
Thank you Dr. Evans for allowing the world to share in your grief of losing your wife lois and in your new soon to be! This is how it is supposed to be done. I am crying tears of joy for you and your soon to be, may God be with you both!
This makes my heart smile. Thank you, Jesus!!! Congratulations
Congratulations! May we ALL continue to run this race with endurance and Faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the joy of the Lord continue to be your strength. 💒 💑🙏💜📖
So much class! So much spiritual maturity..so much royalty..Congratulations sir. !!! GOD IS IN CONTROL
This is beautiful and I love how he had his children there as he announced it.
God bless your union… 🙏🏽y’all are truly free to love and marry again according to the word of God. Amen ❤❤
This is very heart-warming...I have been listening to Tony Evans for 30 years now.
I’ll have to admit I caught a case, but it quickly passed. A big CONGRATULATIONS to you and your fiancé. May God Bless your Union🎉
Sobbing tears of joy! The Lord bless you and keep you and your new wife, the GOOD THING you found, Dr. Evans! ❤
