I looked at the chieftain, I is a great bike and I loved the automatic windshield but fell in love with the classic looks of the Springfield (no fairing), plus I keep bikes for ever and I figure the less fancy electronics the better, they seem to be the first things to go.Life is short, get what you love!
Hey bubba great video. I have a question or you don't mind. Can this be done to a electric start Yamaha virago 535. I only want the bike to stay and run. No lights. .
I wish I knew more, but I don't see why not. If you send me an e-mail to Joebobsgarage@gmail.com, I'll send you a PDF of the wiring diagram. and maybe you can show it to a Yamaha guy. I'm not a mechanic. This is my first build. Learning as I'm going.
A combo, the main is a auto reset breaker and the rest are fuses. Shoot me an email to joebobsgarage@gmail.com and I'll send you a PDF back of the diagram.
Nice new ride joebob, I seen it in a few of your videos, now I know how it came about, and nice/good job on the wiring!

Love the Indian .. My buddy has a dark horse Chieftain .. Was thinking of trading in my Fatboy for one. The Chieftain is a real nice bike ....
