awesome video lovin how everything is starting to come together .when i get my other projects done i'll be stripping and repaint my sportster restoring it from the frame up watching your videos gives me ideas as to where i wanna go with it 👍
Your videos connect to the casual builders, which is a plus. They are a heck of a lot more ( blue collar ) for a better term. I've become much more comfortable finishing my garage build. I'm serious. 3 Doors Down Area.
Thanks Frank, I'm just showing what I'm doing and not acting like a "How to" video. I may show a little more of "How to" in future builds, as I learn them.
Where can I find a box similar to that? I've looked all over, but can't find. I hoping that I can avoid buying a sheet metal brake and then fabricating my own box.

I actually want to get a break and make my own next time. .. Be careful, when I heated the lid to alumiweld the holes up I almost ruined it... Cast aluminum is easy to over heat and cause it to break down.
Subscribed👍Like your style....build it, not buy it. I have a previously licenced Sportster Paugho hard tail frame, 40 degree rake and fork that I horse traded some parts for a while back. Some lady crashed me on my 2001 Buell so I salvaged the motor for this Frame. I like your wiring and also your oil line routing from your oil tank video. Like you, I can weld, ehhh, somewhat decent, but not pro. That'll help out. Thanks for great content, brother, rocket.
Thanks Rocket! I'm figuring this out as I'm going. I would much rather buy a tool to build a part than buy a part, and I'm new to welding but I love to do it. I guess it will just take time. Thanks for watching and Subscribing.
There is a main battery connection (+) entering the box to the 30A breaker and all flows from there. A 6 Guage wire will go from the battery (+) to the starter motor (not inside the box), and the Battery ground(-) goes to the frame at the rear motor mount. The starter wire coming from the box goes to the starter solenoid. I will go into more details in the next video. If you see me do something stupid, be sure to point it out. Thanks for watching!
I've been emailing it out. Send me an email to joebobsgarage@gmail.com with Wiring Diagram in the subject and I'll reply with the PDF attached. Thanks for watching jack.
I was going to have the high beam there, but I switched to a handlebar switches with indicator lights. I'm learning as I am going.A double switch on the right side for right blinker and high beam and left is a single with the left blinker. Good catch! Thanks for watching!

Thanks, JoeBob! I picked one up from Hawk Electronics.
Catching up. Rock on!

Battery connections and grounds?

@@JoeBobsGarage looking good I’ll be sure to watch it! I watch them all !
Nice job I hate wiring
Thanks. At least Chopper wiring is fairly easy.
Hey is that simplified wiring diagram you drew available anywhere? It's been great watching this series, man.

What was the toggle switch for?

@@JoeBobsGarage that’s what I was thinking after I watched the vid again. What’s ur thought on a momentary toggle switch as a electric start?
See I'm listening to you Kimo!
@@nobodylistenstokimonobodyl5271 As long as it's in a spot that can't be easily bumped.. don't see why it wouldn't work.

Are you using that 30amp breaker in place of the solenoid?
