I’m very impressed. This vehicle is about equivalent to a 2003 Honda Accord EX V6 with a 5 Speed Auto and 240 HP 3.0L V6 in the 0-100km and 1/4 mile runs.
Yes, it is. Not particularly from a dead stop, but running/flexibility acceleration is quite good. The numbers say it, but also the real feel while driving.
Nice performance! What surprised me is a small difference between 60-100 and 80-120 times. Probably that may mean that the drag coefficient is relatively small.
The strange thing is that there are big time differences between specific 60-100 test (when i floor it while the car is doing something above 50 kmh) and times recorded while the car was in full acceleration (0-100, 1/4 mile). During the latter, 60-100 times are around 3.5 - 3.6 sec. Because of the gearbox, maybe? I'll also have to check 80-120 times in the 1/4 mile runs, to see if there's the same thing happening.
@@AcceleratingCars it doesn't have a gearbox even though it's marketed as a E CVT. It only has a 1 to 1 ratio transmission. The jolt you feel is simulated by cutting the torque for a split second.
Mmm, mie nu mi s-a parut chiar asa... In plus, iti dai seama ca nu mergi cu masina asa in forjã tot timpul 🤭 in regim normal de exploatare e chiar silentioasa, as zice.
I was a bit surprised too when i saw what the factory time is. I think it's a bit conservative though, because 185hp on a 1.5t body should make a car pretty fast.
@@Nickrii Yes, it was off all the way through the testing (although for the running tests it makes little difference, if any). You can see the icon on the top left of the instrument cluster, it's not like i turned it on for the 0-100 🤭
@@AcceleratingCars Thanks for the clarification - I didn't notice the icon. Some outlets claim a sub-7 seconds for the 0-100 sprint and I was just wondering where the slight difference comes from (which could very well be within the mean variation). It's not like 7.1 seconds is bad for that type of car anyway. :)
Nice Video. The comparison with the other cars after every run is very nice. Continue like this 👌
Thanks man, appreciate it!

Thanks for your comm! Unfortunately i do not have anything else valuable to add as i have driven very few Hondas. ✌️
Pretty quick car

Hi What tool are you using to take the chrono ?
Hi, thanks for your question! The device itself is called PerformanceBox Touch and it's built by a British company called Racelogic.
How do you accelerate from a standstill without the gear simulation?
Brake torque start
When you put the car into Sport mode, it won't simulate shifts.
@@chimaeraSPKMy Advance simulates gearshifts in all modes; Sport mode merely adds fake engine noise.
low gear won't simulate shifts in the US version
@@ryster2220 that's on the hybrid. As far as I know, you guys in the US will get it soon
What is the intro music?:)
Hi! It's a soundtrack that was part of my old editing software (movavi) and it's called Attention, don't know the author.
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks buddy!

Bună accelerația, dar sunetul e enervant. La drum lung trebuie sa fie obositor.

CVT is weak, stick is the best.
For acceleration purposes indeed, CVT might not be the best option.
It’s not a CVT. But yes, manual transmissions are the coolest.
