One thing the anime left out is as soon as Sirius introduces herself, Subaru immediatly starts to call for Beatrice but then is put into Sirius authority and is inturrupted. I dont know if you noticed when Sirius clapped her hands for the first time, Subaru's expression immediatly changes.
I love the adaptation, but I really recommend most people to read the light novel because of reasons like this. You miss out on so many details that make the story much clearer, most people’s complaints are never an issue in the light novel. Obviously the anime can’t animate everything but I just felt like pointing that out

Oh and just a bit the REALLY weird thing, Yusuke Kobayashi is a pretty decent singer in his own right, so that off-key way he portrayed Subaru is deliberate.
Japanese voice actors are on another level really, all voice actors for sure can sing really well. Subaru's vocie actor is VERY good so it makes sense that he can sing well too and deliberate bad singing.
a weird thing about this is according to the author subaru is the best singer in the entire emilia camp, to be fair though emilia beatrice and ram are all tone deaf, so there isnt much competition for Subaru.

Having sailed the high seas for that leak I can say the official subs are way better. Surprisingly they added a few things I know they didn't do in the leak, like "Little Girl User" (that is - okay it's difficult to explain so give me a minute. I think a detail will be given in a subsequent episode so I won't fully explain it. BUT you see that scene of Subaru having Beako on his lap? That's not for the cuteness, it's a necessary thing. This thing along with his over-enthusiastic way of doting on her and being sickly sweet towards Beako has allowed rumours to spread about him. Then there's the fact that he's a Spirit Arts User and Knight, the spirit he's contracted with just so happens to be in the form of a loli. You combine all this, allow rumours to spread, they get more wild as they go along and it ends up far more weird than it actually is. In the Licensed Light Novels they steered away from the term the subs put here and called him "the Moppet Mage" and I hate them for that as this is far more of a closely related term for the idea in the story) The tiniest little bits cut here and there aren't that important, though again with Beako there's a scene missing where she tells Subaru to keep Reinhard away from her and I wish they'd kept that in.
best Rezero season coming from a hardcore LN reader you will enjoy this season. overall This anime always knows how to leave my jaw dropped because holy shit that ending was insane😭😭 the music and everything also CHIKA ANZAI (Sirius VA) killed the role she was giving 😭😭 was the rent really this due she didn't have to go that hard for Sirius and finally getting to hear the speech in Anime the more disturbing it felt. This is how you do a cliffhanger and get the arc started🔥

Unlike Subaru who had a pact with echidna to remember the trials and the "tea party" I don't think Emilia had that so it's no wonder she can't fully remember. Add to that that her memories as a child got wiped and it's been a long time...
She could not remember because it's distinct, both Dream World's Echidna and Coffin's Echidna actually not exactly have the same feature, that's why in the Roswaal flashback, Coffin's Echidna's face was hidden, that's on purpose. So on that case, Emilia was right to be wondering about that.
