You see, even at the point of his fight against her he was objectively stronger than her, but all the conditions were on her side: Garf had to hold back because of allies in mansion, close rooms are best battlefield for assasin like Elsa (stated in QnA), she was supported by Meili and all her zoo, Garfiel haven't completely recovered after fights before, after all. It can be said that it's indeed Elsa who was really lucky in that fight. But Garfiel doesn't accept excuses and nuisances. From his perspective, if some small conditions can affect him and his success, if some of them can restrain him from achieving goals and protecting his comrades - then he's simply too weak, too weak to overcome the problems and unlucky conditions. And the fact of him getting out of that situation not by strength and will, but by luck - is a destructive constatation of his weakness, him being weak enough to be affected by some conditions he can't really affect. The reason he’s angry is because despite calling them there, Anastasia never intended to give Subaru any information regarding the Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, she only intended to give it to Crusch because she deemed that it would be more beneficial to her, but relented most likely due to Crusch wanting to share the info with everyone. It’s only fair that he would be mad especially since they had previously undergone a temporary alliance to defeat the White Whale and Sin Archbishop of Sloth, which served as the start of a sort of amicable relationship between the two Camps. Her having knowledge of how desperate Subaru is to get to Gluttony yet intentionally withholding that information simply because she wanted to sell it to “the highest bidder” is incredibly scummy, especially when taking into account that a threat to life as big as an Archbishop should be eliminated as quickly as possible, regardless of who ends up doing it; it’s only logical to share that sort of information with as many people willing to take them on as possible. Her choosing not to do it is greedy, and dangerous to any potential victims that could’ve been spared if more people had information that could lead to Gluttony. So yes, it’s understandable that he’d be angry at her for that. You can say that his reaction was a bit too overt, but I personally can’t blame him; in fact I’d say he held back quite a lot. Realistically she should’ve been shouted at for trying to keep information that valuable only for specific people just so she can make a profit, it was incredibly immoral and I’d even say stupid.

Man this crap pissed me off. WHY would Subaru get up and be an obnoxious DB because Anastasia is talking to Crusch about Gluttony. She ALSO lost her memories, and has a PERFECLTY good reason to want to take Gluttony out.. Seriously I am glad Subaru isn't the generic Anime character, but by now he should be able to behave at LEAST like an 18 year old who doesn't get mad at people for reasons that make no sense.
He isn’t angry that Anastasia is talking to Crusch about Gluttony. The reason he’s angry is because despite calling them there, Anastasia never intended to give Subaru any information regarding the Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, she only intended to give it to Crusch because she deemed that it would be more beneficial to her, but relented most likely due to Crusch wanting to share the info with everyone. It’s only fair that he would be mad especially since they had previously undergone a temporary alliance to defeat the White Whale and Sin Archbishop of Sloth, which served as the start of a sort of amicable relationship between the two Camps.
Her having knowledge of how desperate Subaru is to get to Gluttony yet intentionally withholding that information simply because she wanted to sell it to “the highest bidder” is incredibly scummy, especially when taking into account that a threat to life as big as an Archbishop should be eliminated as quickly as possible, regardless of who ends up doing it; it’s only logical to share that sort of information with as many people willing to take them on as possible. Her choosing not to do it is greedy, and dangerous to any potential victims that could’ve been spared if more people had information that could lead to Gluttony.
So yes, it’s understandable that he’d be angry at her for that. You can say that his reaction was a bit too overt, but I personally can’t blame him; in fact I’d say he held back quite a lot. Realistically she should’ve been shouted at for trying to keep information that valuable only for specific people just so she can make a profit, it was incredibly immoral and I’d even say stupid.
