we have in singapore also moved from a 2QB a year norm to 1QB a year policy for regular customers who “do their part”. many old timers are spreading out their spend since the bag offers are also spread out. may not be a bad thing, though man oh man it does test your patience! i think you already have a v enviable collection. get the mk2 and take a break 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My SA asks me immediately what I want to put on my wishlist after I get my bag. He knows my list and he asks me to update it once I come and pick up my quota. It’s so different how each SA and each store functions or operates
My SA brings it up too once I hit 1:1 (max of 2 QBs a year). She tries to match my wishlist or she lets me know what they are expecting that comes close to it.
Thanks for sharing, that's totally different indeed. Glad that your SAs and boutitue are way more proactive, it makes the journey feel more smooth for sure!
Hi, thanks for the video. You touched upon the topic of spending on higher value items that you really like vs. lower ticket items. How do you balance between the frequency of visiting your store / SA vs. the spend each time? I struggle with this as well - I feel like I need to go at least once a month but sometimes there're high ticket items that I like and if I go each month the pre-spend would add up a lot faster, and I don't feel like I would get the bag sooner just because I hit the spend earlier with fewer items... curious what your thoughts are on this.
I totally understand the struggle to want to visit often or frequently. For me, instead of going monthly or even more frequent like I used to, I space it out to 8-10 weeks. Sometimes, I even skip a month or two entirely; it just depends on when the new collection launches. So each visit can be a bigger shopping trip and it will also take up less time from you SA overall but each trip is more impactful as well.
@@FashionablyAMY that makes sense, especially when your S.A. already knows your face and knows that you’re in for the long haul. Btw my S.A. just got me a K25 in Rose Sakura which was a total surprise because I thought I was getting a K28 Étoupe because K25 in Rose Sakura is so hard to get, but I guess he got the approval because I’m expecting a baby girl soon, which really helped!
In Vancouver is 2:1/3:1 😢? Omg wouldn’t be easier for you Amy to buy them from a reputable reseller? How many “items” you can buy to match that pre spend ? Sometimes I find it very hard to pick something to buy even for myself because not all the 🍊 aesthetic matches my style 😢 In Italy after you get your quota bag you can leave your next wish the same day (if you already know what you want) it will last 12 months anyway so… Also I do understand when you say that some SAs could be more proactive on keeping you updated with the items you asked or looking for… unfortunately even mine is not too keen on that 😅
Unfortunately it is that challenging in Canada if you are after the store experience. Italy is still in Europe so logistically it is more "easy" for stores to get the stock and different regional rules and customs regulations will dictate the supply and demand worldwide. I would love to support my home store as long as possible, but I believe that some people start going the reseller route after their first few bags here for that exact reason :(
