I think the 24/24 mini is the best travel bag because of it’s versatility. I own mini Lindy, Constance 18, mini bolide as well. And like you mentioned, wanting something you can dress up - the 24/24 is great because it’s super chic as a top handle carry for date night. Can fit all the essentials as well. Also the back pocket fits a phone so you don’t have to open the entire bag for quick access items. Would love to know your thoughts if you get one in the future 😊
I love my Lindy 30 for flying . As I always have two passports two phone , some medicine and keys and etc. that is the nice handbag that fit all on the plane
I always travel with my Constance 18. Packs well because it's flat. I dont carry a lot of things with me when i travel. I can fit my phone, card case, Chanel mini o pouch and even my sunglasses. Mine is Chevre so also rigid like epsom. But it will also loosen in time. The other bag I've been bringing is the Chanel mini backpack that came out last year i think. Actually an SLG. Love it so much for travel. I always wear it as a crossbody. The hotel room card fits in the front pocket perfectly. So that's my 1 casual and 1 dressy bag.
I really wish they still made the old Lindy. I tried the new Lindy in store and it’s just too short for me ( someone who’s bustier) now it’s kinda off my wishlist
I LOVE my mini Lindy! I didn’t think I would as much as I do. Fits so much more than my C24. However, I used it on a trip this Summer and there was a ton of corner wear after 😢. My SA said it was probably the combo of heat, humidity and rubbing against my body that caused it. It’s a shame since I had just got it this Summer. Still a favourite though
I don’t have any of these bags, but I do travel with my Prada quilted (fabric) crossbody for casual and easy wearing and my YSL mini camera bag for evening wear. If I think I need to carry a lot of stuff, I will grab my Longchamp le pilage tote, which will carry everything from a water bottle, a mini umbrella, necessities and I have a place for my sweater if it gets too hot. What about the regular Bolide, would that be better or would that not meet your evening bag criteria because it’s too big? I just hate carrying something too small, but you do have your extra bag that would take care of any extra capacity if needed,.
Amy since you travel with these bags what do you do when it starts raining while you are out. Also do you bring a backup back so you can use during rainy days and not have to worry about damaging your Hermes bags. 😅
I definitely bring sportier bags such as my lululemon or le sport sac for those days 😊 Also always a good idea to use your foldable shopping bag to protect your bag if you are in a pinch!
The mini Lindy is my absolute fave Hermes bag! I love that they're not a quote bag and I have been able to pick 2 up from the pre-loved market. This bag is a game changer and I couldn't recommend it more!
I don't mind etoupe in clemence esp for the lindy. I have seen swatches of etoupe in chevre and it looks really muddy. But I heard it still depends on the batch of leather. Etoupe in epsom seems pretty neutral though.

Absolutely agree! Love chèvre leather too even more flexivle than epsom!
