So interesting this video comes out today. I just sold my beautiful evercolor, gold hardware Constance yesterday. I felt it was soo expensive for what it was. Too much money sitting in my closet for a “once in a while use” 🤦🏻♀️. It really hurt to let it go 🥲. She was beautiful 🥹. The only thing that makes me feel better is the 10k sitting in my bank account 😄
Hi Deb! Its IMPOSSIBLE to please EVERYBODY. Like everything in life, sometimes you would please some and other times you would please others. The most important IMO is keep doing what you do and enjoy the ride. I personally love your videos, your voice is so calm and soothing, even my husband watches them with me 😂

I always preferred the Celine because of the quieter lock but now the Celine has a flashier lock itself and I now prefer the Constance! 🤣🤣 Loving this one in white. Beautiful and distinctive.

Had a choice between a beautiful Vert Cleau croc Kelly to go and this Constance III. Not a quota or wishlist bag in London. I can only pick 4 non quota bags a year so have to be selective but it’s almost end of the year! What are your thoughts on the new Medor bag. Though my SA said I can wait on that one. Mine doesn’t crease in the back (yet?) when I open and close. Think it’s cute and will be good for travel as I don’t like lugging my other quota bags when I travel in case I pass through a less safe destination. And yes the bag is not cheap but it’s currently reselling at over double already.
I just checked my strap of my c18s and no fuzz like you are describing. I have had them both for quite a few years now and use them regularly so I can only think that the fuzz dies down over time. Also don’t worry re scratches, mine are only tiny hairline ones and I use them several times a week and take them absolutely everywhere, including kids playgrounds 😂 What colour will you go for next?

Beautiful thanks for sharing. I think you made great points about the bag. I'm actually considering the Coach Bandit. It is a similar yet different style. Bonuses are it is full grain leather, the strap can be removed for storage, and the C is brushed metal so scratches will be hardly noticeable...and it of course is less expensive 😁
I haven’t checked out the coach bandit but I think I saw an IG post of it, it looks very similar and definitely wayyyyyyy cheaper! Better value for sure!
Lovely review & I agree with all of the cons. My impression of the Constance is the same today as the first time I saw it 20+ years ago: not for me. That H. And the fussy clasp. The bag looks cute on others though. I retired my H belts too, with the exception of the smallest size for dresses.
Very detailed review, Kat! I don't think this is a first Hermes bag either. They have some nice "entry" level bags. I guess the problem right now is inventory. Everything feels like it's quota if you know what I mean.
Great review! I have a C18, had it for a year and I love this bag and is in heavy rotation. I agree that I do get concerned about the strap and glazing as it runs through the metal bits. And my strap has become “fuzzy” too. I don’t get the creasing on the flap like you have shown, which I love about this bag. My Chanel bags get that creasing and makes me crazy. Lol. The interior of my bag is dented too, and it’s inevitable. Lol. As for the buckle, it doesn’t bother me too much because my buckle is in an exotic. The Constance is not a quota in my country, but was my first offer and it was instant love. I am considering getting another on the 2nd hand market because the prices are “reasonable” and for whatever reason, my local boutique do not get many Constance’s. Love your bag!

Hey Babe, this was such a good pros and cons video! I didn't really pay attn to the wrinkling at the back and immediately paused the video to check mine. Mine has a little but it's not too bad but only when I open it. Maybe because mine is black I don't notice it. Regarding the fuzz on your strap I don't really see any on mine yet, but again maybe cuz it's black. For the unruly hair (the straps that stick out) I sometimes bend them over the bottom of the purse so they don't stick out (wrap them around the bag) but not sure it's a wise thing to do with white straps as they may collect dirt from a table or chair etc. Yeah I do recommend the braid - it does come in handy form time to time although I don't always use it like that. More of a thing to grab when I need to interchange the hands or the position of the bag etc. you should try it with a twilly! Thanks again for the in depth review, it made me double check mine too! Actually the price of the Constance in the resale market is ridiculously higher than the store now since Constance is also difficult to buy walk-in and have a waiting list too like the Birkin and Kelly. Resellers are taking advantage of it and make their prices higher because they knew BKC are difficult to buy in-store.

Here in Denmark I recently saw a lady of about 80 years old walking in the rain and her red Hermes Constance was getting soaked and she couldn't have given a f**k. It was probably decades old and obviously well used. I was thinking, well at least she's actually used the bag, like for real, instead of keeping it on her shelf. But wow.
I agree that it is worth buying! And i agree that it’s bettet to get it from a reseller since the secondary market prices are not too far from the price from the boutique! Getting it from the store regardless of whether it’s a quote or non-quota, it will still eat up the prespend! With the con about the H buckle being tacky and in your face, very true!! If i end up getting one, i would probably find one with the enamel closure! It’s a bit more discreet! And less prone to scratching! Love the shine after taking the stickers off!! 😍🥰👏🏼🙌🏼
The Constance is a nice bag the H is obnoxious I have the18, black epsom with GHW. While Waiting for my birkin offer, I was offered this instead. I knew it was highly coveted however cross body on me just barely makes it I’m 5 “7 and I think the price I paid for it it’s almost the cost of a Birkin/ Kelly 25 size. Shortly after I was offered a b30 I would have much rather put my money towards a b/k to be honest.
