The Churchill did have a few things going for it, especially in the later Mks. Good frontal armor, though the 88mm was always a bit much for the poor thing. It could survive 75mm shots from the front though, at medium to long range. Not talking the long 75mm though. Up-gunned variants which switched from a 6pdr to a 75mm did give those variants a better chance. That said the 6pdr wasn't complete rubbish, it dealt with Panzer IVs well enough, just not Panzer VI Tigers or VII Panthers from the front. Damn thing did use a lot of fuel though, its power to weight ratio was sort of buggered, it could really never reach its potential top speed and its size made it hard to maneuver properly in dense terrain or urban conditions. It did have good traction though, so yeah. Not a very good tank, but not the worst one either. I think if I had to describe the Churchill tank family in one word it would be "functional". If I did it in three it would be "functional yet lackluster". At least the engineering, spigot and mine-clearing variants did their job. They saw service in Korea, and if I remember correctly the last Churchill engineer tank wasn't withdrawn from service until late 1960s. Quite a long service run for a tank made in the 1940s. I'd say the engineering variants did prove rather useful. I'd rate it an average 4 on a d6. Neither here nor there.

That Churchill bit was 😘 👌.
If Squire lasts a thousand years men will still say, this was their finest Churchill Mk VII (Crocodile) joke.
WE HAVE BEEN TREATED THATS 2 UPLOADS IN A WEEK YES GOD I LOVE SQUIRE MORE AND MORE
Lmao imagine getting knocked out in a fight and you start dreaming about a website sponsorship 😂
Pretty cool Squire has access to the only operational Tiger!
As long as they are allowed to use the tanks, especialy the Tiger 1 nobody will be Furyous😄 also be carefull about the panzerfaust...those kids nowdays...well 80 years ago...
Come on at the Churchill was actually a pretty good tank
Some amazing German in the video, keep up the good work!
I'd be careful if I were you. Making jokes about Nazis is considered offensive now....
I wish I was joking....
Thanks for a good video :)
Always good to drive you guys around :)
In FURY they were going to use a Churchill but it would have made the movie 4hours with an intermission. 15mph seemed too tedious...
A single child could never lift one...I imagine.
Your tank...it's full of children...isn't it?
Ah I lost it on that. brilliant
as much as i would love to see them drive around the real tank, the clips with the tiger thats not CGI is reused footage from som evet, where the story about how the tank was captured was reenacted... i mean i love the video and or the german speaking but.... they did not drive around in the tiger like som or most of the comments think.
