That was Brilliant to watch..Even though i have lived in the U.S for nearly 20 yrs now,I was born in London,UK but my parents were from County Kerry,🍀Ireland🍀 And loved Traditional Irish and Bluegrass Music&Dance..My Aunt who lives in Cali(She was 99 in June)Well her Grand Daughter is the lead Dancer in the "Riverdance"Show..And is the only Non native Irish Girl to become the North American and World Irish Champ..
Heyyyyyyyyy I am writing from western South America, Ecuador is my country and Guayaquil is my city name we grew up listening during the 70S this kind of music
Oh thank the Good Lord this is still alive and going! This is as real as it can get. Such talented musicians and that wonderful clogger at the end. Thank you all.
I love this! It brings back great memories. My daddy was a fine fiddle player. One night he and his buddies were pickin n grinnin when ole Bobby jumped up and started doing the jig. His shoe flew off. Bobby let out a laugh then his dentures came flying out! I was only about 10 years old then but I still laugh about it. Those good old boys are all pickin in heaven now.
Fortunately I live near Kansas City and there are still a large number of people who play this kind of music. Many of them can't read a lick of music but they can really play. Thank goodness I get to hear them.
This is a fundamental part of America - just like C&W, Country Rock, Bluegrass, the Blues, R & B, R & R, Jazz, Tap dancing, Boogie Woogie etc etc. Love it.
Steve Gulley and band, I so thoroughly enjoyed this music. Thank you for sharing. Now I’m going to see what else you have in video. God bless you all. Keep em coming to us.
This was awesome. That guy was very good. And if you look at his arms you can tell he probably actually works for a living, and I would bet you might not want to mess with him. Great music and great clogging.
Ohhhh my Mammaw and Pappaw used to dance like this when I was a kid! 13 of us grandkids tried it too! What fun memories! Smiling through the tears! You folks are awesome! 😂
This is the music I grew up with. Just can’t keep the feet still or the hands from clapping. Especially with such a fine playing of Orange Blossom Special!
Love This music I heard it on Radio Eirinwheni Wasa Child When I would come home for Lunch Now lots of Irish Love Country I think the Irish Sing Country Better than the American Country Is too Pop Can’t understand American Country In the New Age I love Johnny cash , and Loretta Lyn Merle Haggard No one will be as Great as they were Rest In Peace To ye all
I was waiting and waiting for the dancer show up and damn near gave up thinking this sucks......man am I glad I hung in there. That ol boy sure could hammer the floorboards! WHOOOOWEEE!
I grew up down the road from this place and went there often when I lived in the area. A wonderful place to see the Foxfire book skills put to practical use and understanding. And my Uncle Ira Abbott was one of the best buck dancers I've ever met. Buck dancers aren't taught. They just naturally get that movement. Enjoyed this video immensely!
I called this dance the Tennessee stomp. My Mamma was from Nashville and did do something similar. Like a Coal Miners Daughter, Lorettas Momma also did it. I think it's so cool. Brings back wonderful memories.
Decades ago I attended a 25th anniversary party thrown for an aunt and uncle. After the "polite" band finished playing for the party, the real band came out; fiddles, guitars, an actual washtub bass and an old whiskey jug. Never had so much fun in my life.
My Grandfather used to play that song on his Fiddle & My Mother played it on the Piano. It sure brings back a lot of Wonderful Memories. Thank You so much. God Bless You!!
Dang! That was some mighty dang fine fiddlin' and pickin', toe tappin', boot stompin', knee slappin' music right there. That feller's feet got some talent too. Old boy made that dance floor happy. YEE HA!
Thumbs up for a well played cover of a great tune in a very nice venue. Glad the building didn't fall from the gentlemen clogger as I can share his sentiments haha Thanks for the upload!
These old men are real pros, thanks guys. I am from Australia.
Hello Mate 👋
This makes me miss home, East TN, so bad. I just want to go back home and see nothing but mountains.
That clogger is known "Long Legs" and is terrific. He's from Kentucky and a good friend of mine. Have always admired his ability to move like that.
Bruce White

The clog dancer did what any person would do for a band without drums, he added percussion!

What’s the Greek word for that feeling when the music is SO good you HAVE to get up and dance?
The name of the song is Orange Blossom , I have the song with harmonica playing Charlie McCoy 🥰 I love it
Steve Martin plays Orange Blossom on his banjo. No surprise, he’s really good.
