Thanks, man. I was aware of two CGFI plugs in my garage, and both were on. After your video, I searched and found a third GFCI, which had been tripped. Appreciate your video!

I love that this platform allows common guys like me to get info from anyone who post it. But, I cannot stand some of these videos and the way they are filmed!!!!!!!
Hi, great video very informative! My garage opener is experiencing the same problem after a prolonged power outage. How did you end up fixing it? And how much did it cost you if you replaced the unit or part? Thanks!
I did replace the the unit and it was really cheap I looked for another unit like the one I had and found it on offerup for $30 bucks took the board off it and replaced.
What caused or causes the gfi to trip in this case? Did u ever find out? Please let me know. Thanks, I had same problem & came across ur vid & it solved my problem.
No, sorry I did not do any video on the logic board but I did replace the logic board. I bought a used system from somebody on offer up and brought it home. Took the logic board out, replaced it and it works.
Run an extension wire to the garage door opener to see if the opener or the system is powered that’s not your problem then it’s your opening system board
FYI, mine was tripped recently when there was a power outage in the neighborhood. Power came back on to all parts of the house with the exception of garage door openers. Circuit breakers were all intact. This fixed the problem.
YOU ARE SUCH A LIFE SAVERRRRR. THANK YOU, this close to calling a technician.

GFI is for lighting or other powers and GFCI is for other stuff
GFCI. Hold reset for 1 second on it in case of trip.
You saved my wallet
Not on GFCI tripped. There, I saved you from watching the looooooong video.
It might be the controller mine did the same exact same thing
Could have been said in 20 seconds. Painful to watch. Most people are not interested in all the ways that did not work.
Thanks for the feedback. Will use it in my future videos.
😂
