Did you just use a piece of aluminum flat stock bar to secure the front cleat?

I don’t have a front cleat on my boat but regardless- I’m going to try to run your idea with two side cleats. Do not want to drill into my fiberglass hull. It’s a 89 StarCraft that was grandpas and then dads and now mine wanna keep it nice but I want a damn trolling motor 🤣

I like your video, but the household 15amp connector you used to hook up the motor cannot safely handle 50amp dc. It doesn't matter that it can handle almost 2 time the wattage the amps will burn it!!! Hope you did not have a problem with it yet?

Yep an anderson powerpole connector and 4awg wire would be better...

You got my curiosity. But, it was a struggle to finish the video because of the load, out of topic music. Silence would have been much, much better!. Good content and informative! But, hard to view!

      Sorry,
On the original edit the music wasn't loud at all. Not sure how that happened or how to edit it after it's posted. Just run with the idea and make it work....
      Thanks and good luck.
