What an easy fix. I don’t own a pair of rollerblades. I used to skate 20 years ago when I was a kid. My daughters 6th birthday is coming up and I got her a cheap adjustable pair. I’ll get her better ones if she sticks with it. But in the meantime I’m thinking that I might have to get some myself if I intend on keeping up with her. Until she gets older, quits skating, and is suddenly embarrassed by you. At this point you’ll be such a good skater you won’t even care! 😁👍
Brilliant, low cost fix. I've had several skates with T-nuts installed cock-eyed which could be felt through the liners and caused pain. After reseating the nut and tightening then covered with a bit of puffy tape (or furniture slider 😉), the pain issue was solved.

Nice engineering and testing done there, they should recruit you for testing and finding the problems (Also designing solutions since you find out a solution for us here haha). :D Going to buy floor protectors.
I have applied this fix in past on powerslide imperial as well. There was additional issue with screw protruding on 45 degree strap. I added washer to it. All sorted. So for anyone if ankle strap screw is pinching might be worth adding a washer to shorten the length inside the boot.
I had quite a bit of an an upper inner ankle problem which I solved by adding a pool of hot melt glue under the clasp of the the upper buckle on my FR1s. I also trimmed the top thick upper strap off a few cm. This keeps a little space between the plastic outer shell and the liner around my ankle area and reduces the pressure in that area but still allows the top buckle to be tightened to the desired level.
Thanks Rich I have that precise problem on the right MF900 boot. It is a direct pressure issue which indents the skin (now a permanent red mark) on the right inside ankle. I was using 3mm neoprene, but may try to cover the strap stud. 👍

The protectors I use are pretty flat and soft, you may have to try a few different things to find something that works. I even considered sticking a thin strip of cardboard across it. It needs to be firm enough to protect your ankle from it, but not too thick or tough that it’s going to cause a new pressure point.
I know this is off-topic, but my soul slides are looking exactly like yours right now, but I am pretty sure this is not the proper soul slide... I wonder if it has to do with flexibility or something different. The internal hip rotation is pretty damn difficult to get right. I've found better success getting really low to the ground and pushing my sliding foot out away and forward. It almost feels like doing a split haha.
@@RichHayterSkater its depending on what you are seeking for. Easy and stable 4x80 but will be always routh on bad surface. Or Fast and smooth big wheels.
@@BlackyRay_Patrick Kinda... I still feel the best way over the rough is to negotiate the cleanest line through rather than simpling trying to bulldoze over it, and a 4x80 generally allows me to do that a little be easier than with a larger-wheeled, less nimble skate.
I know what you mean. Neither my Souls or Magic is the way it should be right now, but they are works in progress!
Thank you!
Wich skate of these two is better?
If I was forced to choose? MF500. I’m a 4x80 kinda guy. 👍
Each have their advantages, imho.
What is its diameter in milimeter?
The diameter of the pad is about 50mm.
wow, creative!
Brilliant
Massive thanks!!

Thx you're amazing!
Hey thanks! 🙏😁
I can't recommend this enough vitamin d3 and k2 together for bone pain... after a few months it's like you have new ankles lol the k2 works with d3 to drive calcium into your bones
Forget about skating, before supplementing, I used to hurt just walking around or being on my feet 😅
Yay new vid.tq for the informative vid.👍👍👍
