I love the "Seventh Star" album..I got it when I was around 14 years old in 1986. I had first got into Sabbath with Greatest Hits when I was 9, then Ozzy's 1st two solo albums and "Speak Of The Devil", then "Heaven And Hell" , "Mob Rules" and "Born Again" all given to me as gifts for birthdays and holidays. But I bought "Seventh Star". I loved it immediately though. I still do. I have been one of those fans who's loved everything you did Tony.
Such an underrated album of all time. Iommi can just his music regardless who the lead singer. Notice how different his music is whether it’s Ozzy, Dio, Gillian, Hughes, or Martin. He knows how to change his music with the times
My dad loved Sabbath and had every Sabbath on vinyl up till and including Dehumanizer. Now I've loved them for almost 25 years myself and got all of my dad's old records. This has always been one of my favorite Sabbath songs 🤘🏻🔥
GREAT TO HEAR THIS I'M LOOKING AT THE FIRST PRESSING ORIGINAL VINYL I'VE HAD 36 YEARS.. DON'T HAVE A TURNTABLE BUT STILL HAVE THE VINYL JUST KILLER TO HEAR IT!
First it was Born Again official audios a few weeks ago. Now Seventh Star....I hope the remastes be coming soon. Im waiting for my Anno Dominni Vynil box. It's arriving soon. Thanks Tony Iommi for such wonderful music !!
I think this is the first time I take the time to appreciate the chorus-y nature from the main riff, if I still had a CD Player I’d hit it with this album 😂 so many good memories
I bought this when it first hit the shelves back in 1986. "I'm no stranger to love" could have been a hit the whole I thought was one of their best of the 80s

Great music hope he does Falling of the Edge of the World , Mob Rules was one of and still is my favorite albums keep several versions of it now , had one stolen , another CD of it lost in flood that catfish is rocking it
Im loving how this channel concentrates on the non Oz Sabbath which, although great is waaaaaaay over represented at the cost of so much other great Sabbath music.
It was originally supposed to be a Tony Iommi solo album but the record label said ‘lol no, we want a Black Sabbath album’ and because most of it was already written and recorded he just slapped the Black Sabbath name on it.
@@aidanlynn yes, i agree. Seventh star song sounds a classic sabbath's elements, but remember the original idea was a solo Iommi record, anyway i love this album!!!
@@RiffuzIf the album hadn't been released as "Black Sabbath", it would have remained as a rare record, and we wouldn't have had Sabbath with Tony Martin. Don't be a bore, Sabbath is Tony.
@@aidanlynn Ye ppl always forget the context of the albums. Like Dehumanizer came out in 1992 next to REM - Automatic for the People and Alice in chains - Dirt, Rage against the Machine, Faith No More, etc.
This is the 80's. The Sabbath sound evolved. DIO, Ian, Glenn and Tony Martin were all more versatile singers than Ozzy. I love the Ozzy Sabbath as well, but this fit the times.
Is this some talented guys or another AI? Nowadays are very much songs and music not made by bands, but very lazy "artists". That really makes me sad...

I can definitely see the influence of Sabbath on your music. Witch Cross US rocks
Cara !! Eu comprei esse Álbum assim que foi lançado em 86, eu tinha uns 17 anos!! Tenho até hoje. Acho esse Álbum sensacional. Tudo de bom pra ti...
My fave track from this record. Great riff and Hughes is on fire.
honestly "SEventh Star" is a very underrated 80s Sabbath album, loving the vibe!
The Voice of ROCK! Glenn Hughes!! Everything he's done is just so great! Trapeze to Black Country Communion, it's ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL top shelf rock!!!
Remasters are flying out!
Praying for the 'Born Again' remaster 🙏🏻
Yes! One of the most evil sounding Sabbath albums ever! 😉 👌
*remixes, because these albums has already been remastered
@@bptmbptm Born again was never remastered
@@RowOfMushyTiTfor example was in 1996, 2004 and 2011
@@krm3345 But Tony recently said he found the original tapes, so I doubt any previous mixes were full remasters. Also they sound bad.
Somewhere in an alternate universe, this song is in Top Gun
When I first heard this song a while ago, I immediately thought about Top Gun.
and written by Hawk
That opening riff is pure gold. Love this song. What a masterpiece!!!!
The ‘classic’ Iommi riff, great song indeed 🤘⚡🤘
the best one from the album!
Black Sabbath is The Best Band!!

Eric Singer on drums kicking ass. Loved this album then, still loving it now.
Seventh Star and Born Again remixes...let's go!!
YESSSSSSS!
seventh Star doesn’t need a remix. Deluxe Edition came out 2010 or so, the mix is fine.
@@thefonzkiss7* remastered not remixed yet.
best song on the album great riff great vocals
Glen's voice is brilliant!

El mejor álbum de todos los tiempos! I LOVE BLACK SABBATH!
This one did help get me through a very miserable and dangerous time. Calibrate the response to BRING IT
Gran álbum!!! Me gustan TODAS las canciones.

Love this song, from an extremely underappreciated period in Tony's career!
Love this album ❤
I love the guitar riff!!!
I had an 80s themed birthday party recently and this whole album headlined it haha
The riff lord Tony Iommi 🤘
Amazing song!
I bought this when it first hit the shelves back in 1986. "I'm no stranger to love" could have been a hit the whole I thought was one of their best of the 80s

I really love this album , it was released when I was a freshman.. awesome
first! I am making music inspired by Heavy Metal
Nice! On what instrument? Are you online anywhere, where we could hear?

What was the reason behind this featuring stuff on this record?
It was originally supposed to be a Tony Iommi solo album but the record label said ‘lol no, we want a Black Sabbath album’ and because most of it was already written and recorded he just slapped the Black Sabbath name on it.
Don Arden and record company executives insisted on that it should be a Black Sabbath album not Tony Iommi.
So strong voice by Ian Gillan from Deep Purple.
The guitar riff at 2:42 is actually from the "Never Say Die" days. Tony incorporated it into his guitar solos on that tour. It sounds kinda weak here.
No sabbath sound at all but great Iommi-Hughes album
That’s because it was 1986, Sabbath had to update their sound eventually .

It's Glenn Hughes!

The guitar work is great and the rithum has a groove but the vocals suck if ozzy or Ronnie were singing 🤔
Come on, Glenn Hughes is a legend. He isn't known as the Voice Of Rock for nothing.
