His movie career going downhill was more a result of his father-agent being too demanding AND difficult rather than him growing older. He lost out on a lot of roles because of his dad.

3 wasnt so bad. it was a different take on the series but i liked it. 4 and 5 were really bad though.
Mr. Friendship: It was well known that his agent-father was overly demanding and difficult with the movie studios, so much so that they passed over his son and gave the roles to other kid actors.

Fun fact: The spider WAS actually real! 🤯🤯🤯 But Daniel Stern (masterfully) mouthed the scream, so the tarantula wouldn’t be frightened and then they added the audio of him screaming! OMG! How did he manage to stay calm with a bloody tarantula… a TARANTULA on his face?! God bless him! 🙏🙏🙏

This is my all time favorite Christmas movie
I was on holidays down in SoCal with a couple of my college buddies from a while back. We were at some beach bar in Venice Beach and he was there chatting with the hot bar tender. We bought him a drink and asked him if he wanted to join us. He accepted. We got plastered on 18 yo scotch and their awesome craft beer brewed in house. Then a batch of hydromorphone made its presence. Best time ever. Nice guy. He didn't look his best, but it was a good time. I have box tickets for at home patriots games. Hope he accepts the invitation some time.
