Thanks for taking the time to do this. I’m a 30 year HA wearer that loves technology, researching and trying new things. Started with Widex, then Phonak, now excited to try Nexia or the new Intent when it comes out. My Paradise aids showed me that I can’t stand Autosense. Your insight will help me differentiate what’s real vs perceived when I trial each brand.
Great question. BelTone is a large hearing aid sales group. They use ReSound hearing aids, but private label them as BelTone. Essentially, BelTone hearing aids are ReSound hearing aids. Probably even more important than the hearing aid you choose is the provider you choose. I would recommend someone with the credentials "AuD" (Doctor of Audiology). Often, the big sales groups like BelTone or Miracle Ear do not employ doctors. You can also ask friends or your primary care doctor for recommendations for good doctors. Hope that helps!
Thanks for your question! Unitron is a good hearing aid company. They are owned by the same company that makes Phonak hearing aids (Sonova). Phonak, as I understand it, is their flagship brand, but Unitron hearing aids are high quality prescription devices. Here's a link to learn a little more about Sonova hearing aids: www.sonova.com/en/brands
I usually enjoy your videos a lot. This time, not so much. I was hoping to learn some things that I didn't know or hadn't thought of, but they weren't there. Oh well.

Very very good information. Great insights! Loved your comparisons and pros n cons on each of these 3 types.
What is the difference between resound and BelTone?
