Loving Kiwi making zipper sound so adorable and funny I subscribed to your channel watching Kiwi and Pixel since idk when, just love Kiwi and Pixel so much 🤗❤️
I'm getn a male budgie next time, but l still love my little girl Sweet Pea. She hasn't been feeling well last few months. Been to the vet 3 times since December. She slept in my hand most of the day. I hope the medicine starts helping again. It's been kinda weird her climbing out of the cage into my hand, I think she loves the heat from me. Love this birdy so much.
Kiwi have just learned my 6 months old budgie Folke to say “babybiiiird” and “hey Siri”. And I have just changed Siris voice from Swedish to English to see if he can activate Siri😂
Just purchased my first parakeet 3 months ago. After a 4 year grieving period from when my cockatiel of 24 years passed away I felt ready. Pi and I just clicked in the store. He’s less than a year old, gives human sounding kisses and I can hear mumbling of words already. My sister didn’t believe that parakeets can talk THIS well! She swore it was a fake video 😆. Just wondering how old your parakeets are and when you noticed their first real words? Honestly I’m not trying to get him to talk, he’s doing it on his own.
@@KiwiandPixel Thank you for that info. Pi was stuck quarantined at the store for a few months because he came in with a dislocated wing and a fracture. Being separated from the other birds at such a young age made him bond with humans quickly. So unfortunately he got a late start to the going home process. They aged him at around 6 months, so now I’m guessing he’s 9 months. But, the funniest thing is, he’s absolutely addicted to tech! Loses his mind when I won’t give up my phone or iPad. Even more funny, he’s addicted to YOUR videos! He flys down and lands on my phone when I’m playing Kiwi, and he puts his ear to the speaker. He’s now trying to mimic Kiwi! Amazing!
I suspect that has to do with a bird's natural voice, and the way HUMANS actually react to it. A Human will try to parrot the bird more often than the bird tries to parrot the human. I imagine "HI" is pretty close to a natural sound a ringneck makes, and because human recognizes it as a word, it's of course reinforced over and over again once the human hears it. At leasts that's my layman's theory on it
All most all ring necks sounds exactly the same when the talk. Budgie voices differs a lot how they speak human voices. My past budgie had a vocabulary of 600+ words and he could say each one of those words with my voice, my sons voices, my uncles voice and my girlfriends voice including her south Swedish scania accent.
WHAAAAAAT? thats so cool! i didnt know parakeet could say human words! i have a parakeet of my own, shes cute and she tweets very loudly bc shes happy but how did u teach urs to talk?
Camera: Canon R7 with RF 24-105mm f/2.8L IS USM Z on a DJI RS3 Pro gimbal. 4K crop mode with one notch of stabilization/crop turned on. Also, the mic is a Rode Wireless Pro with 32 bit float onboard recording, synced with onboard camera audio.
@@KiwiandPixel Thank you for the explanation. Here on the southern tip of Africa we have a few species (is that the right term???) of sparrows, known commonly as mossies, so I guess in America they (you) don't split hairs just like we don't with our mossies. To me parakeets are much larger birds than budgies, like the ring-necked parakeet. So I accept that in the US a budgie is called a parakeet, a tap is called a faucet, a robot is called a traffic light - just a different word for a familiar object.
It makes me really happy to see these two cute little guys again. Even though they are in the middle of moulting they are in a very good mood ❤❤
I love how he also tries to give the Siri dialog reply and you can actually here some stuff like "species of parakeet" etc its wild!
1:39 Hey siri tell me about a pair of chickens 😂
My Pixel learned his zipper sound from your Kiwi!!😂
My Munchkin has learned zipper from Kiwi, too! They are the coolest little animals! ✨
Kiwi can be a zip rapper and disc jockey😂😂😂😂
Kiwi and pixel you are amazing!!!❤❤❤
Kiwi is such an adorable little bird!
I'm lol as I listen to him. I taught a couple I had to talk but they didn't have a vocabulary like Kiwi. Much love to them!!❤❤
I like the zipping motion he makes when he makes the zipper sound!
Kiwi ist für mich der süßeste Wellensittich, den es gibt ❣️😘🥰

I love it when Kiwi does The Zipper. I see the boys have been molting they're full of pin feathers, Kiwi even has one on his rear end.😘
Watching this while teaching my parakeet the phrase “good bird.”

Kiwi is so cute. I want to give him scritches and get those pinfeathers off so badly.

We noticed Kiwi first talking about 2-3 months after we got him. So he was about 5-6 months old at that point.

Can we please give Kiwi a tiny little beat machine and soundboard? I feel like Kiwi would make some great techno music.
I swear Birds are specially made to copy a l l the noises.
Every Ringneck you see has like almost the same hi lol.

Here's a video we did on that! ruclips.net/video/hgWQ6G7Z86w/видео.html
How old are they? Cuties❤
Kiwi (the green one) just turned 10 and Pixel is 7.
How did you get Kiwi to talk like this? My parakeets dont learn anything and they dont like being handled
You need to start with a single male bird. We have a video about this here: m.ruclips.net/video/hgWQ6G7Z86w/видео.html
PAPAさん🍀こんばんは🌙😃
🥝&Pixel💗可愛いいですね😃💕
Is kiwi a spy?
Yes
❤ thanks... What's model of mic/cam exactly used here to capture kiwi talk please? I'm not into tech right now...

These are budgerigars 'budgies', not parakeets
@@annexton3795 Hi Anne, that's wrong. Have a look at the video explaining this: ruclips.net/video/L_3_LKqwj3Y/видео.html
