Thanks for always sharing your storage/organization ideas. You have literally helped so many of us be able to not only store our products, but actually USE them because we can see them and access them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I LOVE your video's. I wanted to let you know, that Big Lots and also the Dollar Store carry containers similiar to these. You get 3 for a $1 at the Dollar Store, they are round but work great. At Big Lots I got about 5 or 6 containers for a little bit more money. The small Command Clips work perfect to hold the spoons and you get maybe 20 in a pkg. I found that these containers do just as well. I just have to use a stronger glue to glue them to the lid. Thank you so much for everything you do! THUMBS UP!
Just got my Sistema containers, clips and little spoons the other day. Plan to use those for clear, white and black and will be labeling the rest with an embossed sample like you demonstrated. I really appreciate all of your organizational videos. They really inspire me to use all of my supplies more!
Love it! I had my embossing powders in containers and the little spoons in the powder. I hated digging it out. The great part is I already had all three style clips in a container- been sitting there for 2 years! I did not have to purchase anything...LOL Thanks so very much for sharing your tips!
I just recently found you Jennifer and what a lucky day for me! You are such a wealth of great information. Thank you for sharing all your tips, creativity, and resources. They are extremely helpful to me.
I especially love and appreciate all the craft room organization videos since I lie in NYC and space is super tight. You have lots of great unique ideas. Thanks.
Hi Jennifer just watched your video tutorial you posted on u tube on September 9th 2014 embossing powder organization I am still finding more of your awesome tutorials a really big 👍 up to u Jennifer what an awesome idea to circle and emboss the bottom of the containers to see the true colours I wouldn't have thought of doing that thank u for the fab idea 😁 Lin in South Wales uk x
I purchase the coffee filters at a Dollar Store for crafts as it doesn't have to be great quality and they are super cheap. Love the tip about samples on the bottles, Jen. They do look so different from the powder!
Being new to embossing, I greatly appreciated your tips and suggestions on products. I was really looking for recommendations and the reason for them - you did all of that. Thanks so much!
Love the idea of putting the samples on the bottom of each year. I was doing a key ring thing, but I like this even better! Thanks for inspiring us to keep organized. I sooo appreciate it! :)
I saw your coffee filter idea from another YTer that uses a lot of your solutions before I saw it on your video. lol...well that's all I use now and I TOTALLY love it!! I need to get lil clips for my spoons. thanks!!
I am trying to find a way to store my embossing powders as well as H20s and I like your method but would like to know if they are all loose in the drawer or secured somehow at the bottom. Do they stay upright or fall over like mine? Thanks, Sheila
I LOVE these containers!! & got obsessed with using them for my EPs. However, I am such a stickler with keeping my creative space coordinated, and these are usually blue or an assorted color. I've looked everywhere to purchase just white clips-does anyone have any ideas?!?! Any help is appreciated! Mrs. McGuire, you are such an inspiration when I started my crafting venture till now. Your clear explanations and unbiased opinions on various products help me purchase with confidence. Thanks for all that you do!
Unfortunately I do not have the space to have my EPs in the tubs, although I wish I did! I love the labelling of the samples on the bottoms of the jars though. I'll be doing that! Thanks so much for sharing your awesome ideas as always! :)
Forgot to mention a tip I learned from my Master Roaster - coffee company owner husband. The easiest way to separate one coffee filter from a stack is to gently blow on the edge of the stack. It's amazing how nearly every time, only the innermost filter will pull away from the stack so you can grab just one. (Forgive me if everyone but me has known this for years.)
/THANKS THIS REALY HELPED. IM 65 AND JSUT STARTING OUT. I HAVE TO SAY I HAVENT SEEN ANDY OF YOUR VIDEOS I DIDNT LIKE. I REVIST THEM TO REFRESH MY MEMORY.
Hi Jennifer. I know this is an old video but the small embossing powders that have the dot on the bottom. What do you have holding them in place in your draw?
Do you have the names of all your WOW powders listed somewhere on your youtube channel? I love all the colors and would love to see a collection haul. :) Also, are the containers of colored powders that are in your drawer all 1oz?
Jennifer, I just watched your embossing video on embossing powder storage and I thought it was great. I do have one question however, what is the tool you use to put your stamp on to make it staight. I have seen it in more than one of your videos and I can't find one anywhere. Thank you
Hi! can you make a video about clear embossing powder + diff pigment inks VS. Clear inkpad + diff colors embossing powder. Im a newbie crafter, and im interested to know which of the two I can start with. I dont want to buy with out any knowledge of any difference between the two. :) thank you! Or you may simple answer here. Thanks!
Jennifer, I followed the link to Ikea on the Alex drawers -- is that an insert in the drawer that is holding up the bottles? Or something you did in the drawer?
Jennifer, if you ever find yourself with some extra time, it would be so cool to see a pic of all embossing powders and a list of which ones they are (color name/brand) so I could add those to my wish list:) Hehe, just saying since we all know we can't help but buy all of the JM recommends:)
I have embossing powder that I haven't used voor over 10 years. I recently started cardmaking again, and the embossing powders work like a charm. Good melt, good shine, no problem.
I thought the method of putting a circle of the actual embossing powder on the bottom of the jars and storing them upside down s a good one, but it doesn't tell you what a powder is going to look like on dark paper, which I use a lot. Powders do not necessarily emboss the same on both light and dark powders. I made reference sheets years ago with the same stamp on both black and white paper, labeling the color. It has kept me from making mistakes trying to get a powder that looks great on white paper to work on a dark paper where it just doesn't perform. If I were going to adopt Jennifer's system, I'd make half the circle black before embossing.
Hi jennifer i saw you havent answered questions on the copic class can you view the videos at any time? Like if your class is during the day can i view The class video at night...i love your videos they are always inspiring....tfs :)
Well hope you had a Merry Christmas 🎁🎄 smiles I am sick 😷 with no voice started Friday night and by Christmas 🎄 I couldn't talk oh well I am home in bed watching things on RUclips again . I love ❤️ yo video's on stage wish I had a house 🏡 to do like this..
I wouldn't for this reason Wow! embossing powders have anti-static properties already in theirs and should not be put into other containers like shown in this video and other brand don't. Other brands are made different and could have an impact on your final color. I have 2 greens the labels say green but one of them when I use it- is has specks of gold in it. Had I mixed like was going to I would have contaminated the pure green one. Hope this helps
Yesterday I found the three-piece set of the small containers at TJMaxx for $5.99. They are exactly the same as Jennifer uses. The price was lower than I've seen at other places.
I promise I'll move on after this, but the first line of the video description says "Shows watercolor and stamping... with the Gansai Tambi Watercolors." rather than embossing powder organization (though the supplies list and everything else seems accurate).
+Candace Kieper , Hi Candace. I am another crafter, and Yes I use the Command Clips with containers similiar to these that I found at the Dollar Store and Big Lots for a lot less money. Some are round but that doesn't bother me. I just wanted to let you know. Victoria

Muffin wrappers will work as well as the coffee filters! Thanks Jennifer for these wonderful ideas
LOVE the embossed dot on the bottom of the jars! I have mine all stamped/embossed on a cheat sheet but I like this idea way better. TFS!
Love it! I had my embossing powders in containers and the little spoons in the powder. I hated digging it out. The great part is I already had all three style clips in a container- been sitting there for 2 years! I did not have to purchase anything...LOL

Very helpful since I am trying to organize my craft room atm and looking for different ways to store my supplies.
It's inspiring just looking at your drawer of embossing powders with the samples on the bottom. It's beautiful!
Being new to embossing, I greatly appreciated your tips and suggestions on products. I was really looking for recommendations and the reason for them - you did all of that. Thanks so much!

How do you keep the embossing jars so neat in the drawer? Is there a tray you put them in?
Love the idea of putting the samples on the bottom of each year. I was doing a key ring thing, but I like this even better! Thanks for inspiring us to keep organized. I sooo appreciate it! :)

How do you store powders when the containers are all different heights and widths? Or did you buy special bottles for them to all look uniform?
Love your organizational videos!

Hi Jennifer. 5 years on, it would appear the Ranger Enchanted Gold Embossing Powder has been discontinued. What are you using now? TIA

ayyy que Bueno los odiaba con el reguero, pero ahora con este Sistema wujuuu!!
I keep my clear, gold and silver embossing powders in a set of mini drawers. I have a beautiful old silver spoon in each drawer as a scoop.
Awesome ideas.Time to organize my embossing drawer.
Your idea is wonderful and has been working for me too. TFS. I love to watch all your videos. Never tire of them.
Great tips. Thank you Jennifer
Awesome! I need to get more organized.
In this video you also mentioned an ikea cabinet. Can you please mention it again?
Lynn Wayne I believe it’s called the Alex drawers. My husband is going to get them for me. Yay!!

I found even smaller containers at the Container Store for a $1.49 each I used this method for my glitter
So many fun colors!
Jennifer what kind of storage containers did you use for the smallest collection of colors?
She has all the links listed below the her name you will need to click "see more"
Very nice storage idea ! TFS
Jennifer, I followed the link to Ikea on the Alex drawers -- is that an insert in the drawer that is holding up the bottles? Or something you did in the drawer?
+Karen Menard I think theyʻre just upside down in the drawer.
+Robyn Tanaka Now that you mention it, I see that is the case! Thanks for the perspective, Robyn!
Thank you 😊 for taking time to share the videos
Jennifer, if you ever find yourself with some extra time, it would be so cool to see a pic of all embossing powders and a list of which ones they are (color name/brand) so I could add those to my wish list:) Hehe, just saying since we all know we can't help but buy all of the JM recommends:)
You are so organized!!!
I have a question. Do embossing powders get old and don"t emboss very well?
I have embossing powder that I haven't used voor over 10 years. I recently started cardmaking again, and the embossing powders work like a charm. Good melt, good shine, no problem.
I have some powders that are actually 20 years old and they work just fine!
Some can go off, I have an old pergamano gold which turned to a dirty brown colour after about 10 years.
I thought the method of putting a circle of the actual embossing powder on the bottom of the jars and storing them upside down s a good one, but it doesn't tell you what a powder is going to look like on dark paper, which I use a lot. If I were going to adopt Jennifer's system, I'd make half the circle black before embossing.
What a great idea. going to create a color chart for mine. Thanks for the tip
love your system!

can you mix brands of say, white or clear?
I wouldn't for this reason Wow! embossing powders have anti-static properties already in theirs and should not be put into other containers like shown in this video and other brand don't. Other brands are made different and could have an impact on your final color. I have 2 greens the labels say green but one of them when I use it- is has specks of gold in it. Thanks! Appreciate the ideas!
Love it, thanks Jennifer
I'm so impressed.
Jennifer check out Lindy Stamp gang it's so awesome.
Thank you, great tips.
Thank you very much!
I promise I'll move on after this, but the first line of the video description says "Shows watercolor and stamping... with the Gansai Tambi Watercolors." rather than embossing powder organization (though the supplies list and everything else seems accurate).
Embossing Buddy? Does anyone find that an embossing buddy helps to eliminate stray embossing powder? Yes or no? Thank you
Don't you just love organizing your crafting products?
Great job.
has anyone tried any command clips?
+Candace Kieper , Hi Candace. I am another crafter, and Yes I use the Command Clips with containers similiar to these that I found at the Dollar Store and Big Lots for a lot less money. Some are round but that doesn't bother me. I just wanted to let you know. Victoria
Great video......tfs.
Also a few of the Google links are no longer working and a message came up that Google will no longer be using links in 2025. 🤷♀️
Well isn't that a drawer full of yummy?
Warner
Please come to my place and organize all my craft supplies! Please? Thanks!
