Are you dumb? That was the entire point of the composition - to create a theme that embodies the stage of the character. Vega is Spaniard, so it makes sense to create a theme that uses the same style of instruments. What are you so offended by?

This is the one theme in the game I think that's a downgrade from the original. They butchered this one, so sad.

I sort of agree. It simply lacks the panicky, high energy feel of the other versions. The low end is crazy powerful though, and I like that.
