Benzino had Almighty RSO and Made Men. What nobody ever talks about is his involvement in the Paul Pierce stabbing. Dude was known for more than just owning the source. With that being said Benzino screwed Em with a horrible review of MMLP and somehow gave his Made Men album 4.5 mics. Em proceeded to body his credibility after that and rightfully killed the source and any career he had. Hard to like this dude for the negative impact he had on rap culture

@floydd4779 Do you not understand what started the whole beef? Benzino first attacked a successful artist, who at the time was a media monster... it happened to be Eminem, a superstar. The amount of negative attention the Source received from this caused a rift between the Source and Benzino. Technically, if Benzino had just stuck to his job instead of trying to be some sort of hip hop gatekeeper, then he'd still be at what's left of the Source.

I've followed Em since 89 tech 9 89.1 collega radio and club 88 hip hop which are names EM barely remembers himself. Em gets hate for the wrong reasons but he never really deserved 5 mics in his early career. He was very different and that's great but he wasn't the best lyricist at the time and still isn't.
His fans grade him on a curve for one reason or another. He's one of the goats but not THE goat.
