I had my first Bullworker way back in the 1970’s. I loved it and it made a big difference in my health & fitness. I later did the Bill Phillips Body for Life fitness challenge, working out religiously in the gym with machines & weights. I remember the amazing Clark Bartram photo shoot, it really impressed me. I always intended to do a similar thing. But over the years, I let life distract me, stopped working out and now I’m 78 and out of shape. This video has blown me away and will turn my life around! I’m grabbing my Bullworkers and will never stop with my workouts, guaranteed! Thank you Clark and Bullworker for this life-changing video! 😊👍

Bullworker story: I did a workout with BW and after three weeks of working out I was leaving my home and hugged my wife goodbye and she screamed because my hug was so strong non intensionaly I was simply much stronger. The only exercise equipment that did work for me
Very Inspiring! I too once owned the original Bullworker. I used the original Bullworker in my teens which lead me to weight training in high school. Once I got married and had kids I stopped working out all together. 30 plus years later, as an empty nester, I got back into working out and ordered the latest Bullworker offerings and now own the complete set. I'm now 58 and feel the best I have since high school. THANK YOU Bullworker!!!
I started with Bullworker in 1977 back then I wasn't working out at all for over a decade And it hit me one day looking at my body droopy shoulders skinny arms and a belly I looked like a geek Went in NYC where I reside Saw the Bullworker thought to myself let me give it a go Purchased it followed all the instructions Felt a real good ache Kept it up in no time I went up from a medium shirt size to a large shirt size maybe in a month.Got lots of compliments in my job Especially from the gals Then I took it a step up and purchased a set of weights and a bench Got even larger to a xtra large lifting weights including Bullworker sessions Now I'm in my 70s I only use the Bullworker classic and steel bow and stick to that only Still have a proportionate good body, most folks take me for a lot younger I will stick with the 2 Bullworkers to my last day on earth
A very inspirational story. I'm 55 and fitness has been part of my life since I was a teenager. While I'm very new to the Bullworker, I appreciate its simplicity and how it can add to the things I'm already doing. I was given an old brown handle one recently and have since bought an old 28" Lady Bullworker as well as an X5 version to use as well. The Black Friday sale convinced me to get a new S3 Classic and will incorporate that as well. Thanks to BW for telling this story. I really enjoyed it.
Great story and inspiring. My Dad had the original Bullworker way back in 1962 and it got me started on my journey of being interested in fitness from an early age. I remember reading about Bruce Lee and his workouts in Black Belt Magazine in the mid to late 1960's. I have seen photos of Bruce Lee with his Bullworker leaning against the wall in his office. No question that for me, Bruce Lee was my true inspiration to become as healthy and fit as possible. I still own and workout with the Bullworker today. It is a great piece of exercise equipment and is built to last a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your personal story and fitness journey.
Yes. Fantastic. Since 74. I've always come back to it. Had brown handle. Then X5. Got steel bow. Basic one too. And classic. It really gives me confidence. And it works. Invent your own exercises too I'm 62 and know these will be great even in retirement. .love it . Keep going guys and God bless
I played French horn in college. I never could play high enough to play 1st parts. I purchased a Bullworker and my playing took off. My endurance was great and those high notes became an afterthought. I advanced to 1st chair in the UNC orchestra thanks to the Bullworker. #GoHeels
Started with the Charles Atlas course then to the Bullworker in the early 70’s I’m now 67 and incorporate nautilus, total gym , free weights and my old trusty Bullworker. Thank you for the inspirational video.
I had that green one back in the early 80s!!! I was 13 or 14. My dad's mate gave it to me. I got real strong too! In conjunction with my running. I now have the new grey version...plus the Steelbow. Nice story bro🙏
I had a bull worker in my house in the 80s in India the old model had worked a bit on it then in in 95 if I am right I bought a new X5 in Kuwait now I am back in India just joined a gym to get in shape at 63 and wanted to grow muscles fast was wondering how to grow or build them strong muscles and no bulk started using my bull worker just yester day was trying to find some bull worker X5 videos came across this great video of Mr Clark it has given me great confidence on my bull worker to help me build the muscles I am dreaming of. Thank you for this up load and God bless.
Had one in the 70s and did the chart exercises. But didn't get the results I wanted. So went off into weight lifting on and off for the next 42 years.made progress with the weights at first but pretty much looked the same all those years. At 62 bought the bullworker package and have been consistent for over a year have gotten more compliments in the last year since using the bullworkers everyone telling me damn you are jacked now. Love them now. Use them doing reps and then 10 second holds. Great video brother
I had my first bullworker as a hand me down from my old man when I was about 15, I was strong and cut in in my teens using this and it really helped my sporting endeavours. Then in my mid 20’s out of shape after a painful break up a 2nd bullworker mixed with swimming got me in the best shape of my life. Now 43 and out of shape again this video has inspired me to go another time with the trusty bullworker to start getting back in shape. You’re a good man, thank you for this beautiful video 💪🏻
👍. Got my first Bullworker in 74 also, in my 20s not my teens, green handles. And I do still have it today. Also have the newer Bow Clasic and the Steel bow, red handles. Great testimony. Congratulations on your success.
I bought a Bullworker when I was 20 years old from an ad I saw in a muscle magazine. I enthusiasticlly read the user manual front to back. Unfortuneatly, I only used it once or twice and it went into the closet. When I turned around 40 I took it out of storage and started using it seriously. Definitely saw a difference in muscle tone and size but not bulky. I am 75 now and still using it with good success.I beleive it has helped me, along with taking key supplements, to stay in great health. I have the strength and stamina I had in my 20's and look more like 60.☺
Thank you for sharing a great story of yours. We hear this often, people pulling their trusted Bullworker out later in life and experiencing the magic! To feel the strength and stamina that you had in your 20's, we love to hear that. Keep Chargin!
Such an awesome video. I had a Bullworker in 1976 because I saw one advertised in a black and white classified ad in a motorcycle magazine and asked my mother to give me one for Christmas. I was a private in the US Army working on a missile base in the middle of the desert. We had no gym. Nothing. So she sent me one and I used it. I weighed about 170 lbs and one day a fellow MP, the "Greek", a Greek national who had enlisted in the Army to become a US citizen, grabbed me and held me upside down. He was a beast of a dude and very strong. But hanging upside down, I had access to his ankles, and having used the Bullworker, I was a lot stronger than I looked. I grabbed his ankles and pulled his feet out from under him, and he fall backwards on his ass and I was sitting on top of him. The other MP's saw this and their mouths fell open. I stood up and helped the Greek up, and he was speechless that I dropped him so easily. Bullworker. I'm buying another one today, some 38 years later. And I'm still fit. Isometrics/isotonics do increase strength. I have been using a small rubber ball (hollow, slightly smaller than a baseball, black rubber, air-tight) every day for about two weeks, squeezing it as hard as I can using different finger combinations. Yesterday I was throwing a football with my son, and I started catching the ball repeatedly with one hand, left or right hand did not matter, I was snagging that ball with one hand very easily and naturally. Super cool. Isometrics.
A very engaging story. Takes me back to the time I bought my first Bullworker. I was a skinny kid and wanted to be taken seriously. I have sold 2 in the past, only recently getting the new Bow Basic.
Thank you Clark! I'm 53 and this was probably the most inspirational video I've ever seen. It pushed me to look past my perceived obstacles and lame excuses and move forward to the next chapter of my life and to never settle.
I still hv my Bullworker X5 till now since 1980..unfortunately im not that consistence doing the exercise...now im 58..i will start again doing the exercise with it..your video inspire me..
I got a bullworker in 1981 aged 17. I used it for a 18 months and got quite lean. At Uni l did weights and played rugby. Ive continued weight training for decades but at 60 ive now got back, neck and knee pain. I found an old bullworker at a church jumble sale and its like being 18 again ( if only). But it still gives a good workout and i also use resistance bands. What a durable product bullworker was. The one i currently have is late 70s as far as i can research. It works like new.
I also started with the Bullworker when I was 13 or so! (48 years old now.) I think I should get one again! Thanks for the motivating story. Oh, and I definitely remember that famous ad. :)
funny how you are the 2nd person I have heard say they kick off their day with no social media exposure ; first being my barber . Secondly, stressed by all successful people & motivational speakers to start the day early. Something else I have put into my regime . Thanks for sharing all the positivity .
I have the same Bullworker since the early 1970's, am a similar age. Exercised regularly for decades. I even have the infra red sauna. What I don't have is your physique. Well done man!
That’s because he lifted weights. The Bullworker won’t get you that kind of physique. And it’s also genetics and nutrition. If you have lifted weights, then you just don’t have the genetics. I know I don’t.
Bought my first Bullworker (X5 one I think) for some my confirmation money, that was 24 years ago. Today I am still training, but with weights. Sadly I no longer know where my Bullworker is, but I loved how it made my abs burn. Damn, it was an amazing time.
Great video I prefer your original green handle bullworker that's the one my dad had he could compress it fully he was super strong using it I thought it was impossible to do that but he did it it does build muscle problem is people don't know how to use it properly and think it's rubbish because of limited range of movement the amount of movement is ample you can even do squats properly if you have 2 bullworkers one on each foot try it! I do the bullworker on my rest days for 15 minutes only so not to depleat my reserve's on rest day it reawakens tired muscles isometric tension is the way forward combined with weight training good for you man a true success story be proud of yourself God bless 🤔💯💪
Got mine around '73 or so - ha - but never lost it, in many moves! I built myself up to pretty good tone and muscle with the Bullworker. Just pulled it out of my son's closet and started using it again. And like you, I was curious to see what info might still be out there and this video is the first thing I clicked on. BTW, the BW is still in really good condition - it was built really robustly!
Great video! Around 16 years old I purchased my first bull-worker. A great piece of exercise devise! Helped me to build great strength for playing sports. Still use at HS were I teach. Used to pin it behind my head! @16 & now I’m 63 so that means almost 50 years of use. I still do it help build my strength up after a back and shoulder injury. Always threw it in to a handy workout which was convenient & isometric/isotonic. 😅I would be tempted to buy a new version. The old one still looks 35:2735:27 like new! Anyone who feels real strength is vital for success in sports should have one. Helps to built powerful muscle tissue especially in your teens which will last a lifetime ..imo
I ordered my Bullworker (with brown handles and red indicator ring) from a magazine ad in 1975, when I was 14. I used it intermittently over the decades, and have been using it regularly again over the last year. It is still like new.
I think over the years I’ve had 4 bullworkers ( 5 including my steel bow ) I’ve gave them away as was oft relocating overseas . I’ve now got steel bow and a few homemade isobows - long ones and short ones . Isometrics are making a huge comeback which is good for the elderly and rehab
Thanks for the awesome story❤!! Born 1969... I learned about isometrics and ordered a used one in Germany. Turns out it is an original "Bullworker 3" from Heimsport, Frankfurt. Could it be from the sixties? If I send you a picture of one, do you could identify when it was built? It would be great. What can I say? The bullworker is my ultimate strength tool as it is friendly to my joints. Period. 😊😊
I have the exact same bullworker as shown in the beginning, but mine still has the original plastic scale which is completely unnecessary and probably the reason why it got removed. It's a bit longer than the other two vintage bullworkers I have. Interesting to hear it's from 1975 (or earlier), it still works fine 👍
You're 7 months older than me & I got my Bullworker when I was 14 or 15. Still have the numbers on it & the measuring ring that slides up & down. Never really got any results (probably lack of effort on my part), so it never got used much but I kept it never-the-less. Maybe time to start it up again.
Yes, try this series (quick and efficient) and let us know what you think. Taking a committed approach with consistency is far greater than a few intense sessions that burn you out. ruclips.net/p/PLx61DlsHaytffnnSBekKRfSAWXXz1xtLG
Damn..Remember you back in the day! EAS was great stuff and I remember Bill Phillips. Got my first Bullworker hmm..thinking 77 loved it! Question: What d you think of the X% pro 28' Thinking about getting one....Thanks for your time!
Due to having my gym closed for two weeks getting refreshment I’m so glad I’ve got a bull worker good workout tool it is only bad thing is I’ve lost my exercise chart so i have to look on online and look for the chart it’s so good can do chest back arms core legs too
@@cmoneytheman yes, I got a newer one for him two years ago. I might get one for me as well. I'm using the iso - bow at work. My clients love it. I encourage them to get into it.
14:40 "So, then...I was like...I wonder if bullworker is still around?" That's exactly what came to my mind 20 mns ago. I googled bullworker and I saw they were selling some on Amazon. Then I went to youtube and found this video 🙂 My oncle had one in the mid 80s when I was a kid. And I don't know if it was thanks to Bullworker or if it was purely genetics but I once realized he had a big biceps pick when he was scratching his head. And I said: "Wow uncle, your bicep is sooo big!", that made him laugh 😁 Today, I was thinking I'm fed up with gyms and I can't have a home gym so I need a device that could help me keep in shape and that's when Bullworker came to my mind. I just wondered if it was really effective, so after I found it still exists, I thought I should watch some youtube videos to see what people say about it
Fun story, thank you for sharing! What are you thinking/deciding? We are still around for a reason, we work. And we stand by that. Let us know if you have any questions, sounds like we could be the perfect fit for what you are looking for.
Why doesn't your customer service department respond at all when I use the Contact Us form to ask questions about what product to buy? Makes me concerned about what kind of customer service I would receive.
That is strange, we must not be receiving your inquiry. We certainly pride ourselves on customer service. Please shoot us an email at info@bullworker.com
To tell you the truth. You don't need any free weight training with the bull worker. Bull worker is so taxing on the muscle that free weights becomes obsolete. Free weights are not good for joints or tendons. Bullworker will indeed make your joints, tedons, ligament way stronger than weights and way healthier for you
What is the difference between Bullworker Bow Classic and JJ Jonex? Are they 2 different company or same? Im checking online and only getting JJ Jonex products!
I don’t think you look like that because you’re photoshopped but I do think you look like that because you juiced for it. Regardless, still a good video. Lots of quality history and info.
i think this is a great ad and makes me want to buy a bullworker one day (though i already own a ton of other fitness equipment, i can still probably fit a bullworker in there for variety). however, what i didn't like was this guy seems a bit narcissistic. like in this video he claims 'nobody else has ever achieved as much in the fitness world as me'. yet he doesn't even have a wikipedia page, never won a bodybuilding contest, his claim to fame is he was on the cover of 100 fitness magazines and was in a famous fitness ad. so he was a fitness magazine and advertisement model back in the day. not to downplay that, as that's still a pretty nice thing, but that isn't really an accomplishment worth that level of narcissism or claiming that he's done more than anyone else in fitness. there are people who accomplished much more who are more humble (like dan john, who is of similar age, invented the goblet squat, helped start kettlebells becoming popular in the west, and was a champion discus thrower and still holds records in it. look at his videos and he's nowhere near as braggy as this guy.) i think it's nice to be proud of one's accomplishments. but don't overplay them and say they are better than everyone else's. he's really saying he's accomplished more than arnold? then why isn't he a household name? do good things, be proud of them and don't hide them, but don't be like 'well haven't you heard, i'm the best there's ever been...'
Bullworker 2 was a British invention. The first person to model with it was an Englishman called Dave Prowse. He was an athlete of some sort and later got the part as Darth Vader in Star Wars.
Wrong. It was invented by German Gert F Koelbell. Dave Prowse, Barry Mcguigan and Peter Shilton were paid by the firm to promote the Bullworker. It was made in England in later years as well as Germany
Hello..I analyzed your exercises. You still have great potential. However, you must do other, goal-oriented exercises. Look around for Doug Brignole. A master in biomechanics.
So...the EAS ad is a total con job that this guy participated in...and we are supposed to trust him? 😂 And the guy is in a room full of weights and machines...l guess they are just a warmup before his bullworker workouts. 😂
No where does he claim he only uses Bullworker... he is sharing a story of how he got started in the industry. Obviously he lifts weights. Bullworker compliments weightlifting quite well.
@@Bullworker yeah, by using the Bullworker for 1 week when he was 12 or 13. This story is completely misleading, and you fucking know it...don't try to put a spin on it.
Definitely will keep you toned. But the strength increases might be the thing Bullworker does best. Has keeping you toned and little more been your experience?
It's disappointing to see Bullworker backing this video. The guy is on TRT, this has zero to do with using the Bullworker. When people see this and get zero results like this, people will rubbish the product. I love my Bullworkers, but this video is just BS
The video is not making any claims other than Clark sparked his career and interest in the fitness world with Bullworker... Not sure why the other assumptions are being had.
Seems to try and get sales for the bullworker. This guy has done weights and gym work without use of the bullworker for years, seems he wants to jump on the bandwagon. His timeline is definitely off as well, no way was he 14 back in 1974.’why lie? Just say he likes to use the bullworker, no shame in that.
You might have missed the story. He is drawing on memory from the 70's. Bullworker was a key piece in guiding him to his fitness journey and profession which he has done successfully for decades. He does not deny lifting weights. He had a family friend gift him their original Bullworker which encouraged him to reunite with Bullworker. However, you are correct, he likes to use the Bullworker with his training and clients.
@@Bullworker Kind of misleading since he never used the Bullworker to create his physique. He used it and drew inspiration from it, but never built his body with it. Using it with clients is also misleading if clients believe they can build a physique like his with the Bullworker.
I'd like to know if that show he talked about was a natural contest? All the EAS people entered npc shows because they took gear. So I would not bet any money Clark was natural either. Same now. Let's see what he looks like at 75 or 80. Liver long sells his stuff. Bertram now sells Bullwrker all of a sudden. Copycat?

Is it better to use bull worker or dumbbells for gaming muscles

I looked like a geek
Went in NYC where I reside
Saw the Bullworker thought to myself let me give it a go
Purchased it followed all the instructions Felt a real good ache Kept it up in no time I went up from a medium shirt size to a large shirt size maybe in a month.Got lots of compliments in my job Especially from the gals
Then I took it a step up and purchased a set of weights and a bench
Got even larger to a xtra large lifting weights including Bullworker sessions
Now I'm in my 70s
I only use the Bullworker classic and steel bow and stick to that only
Still have a proportionate good body, most folks take me for a lot younger
I will stick with the 2 Bullworkers to my last day on earth

I got a bullworker in 1981 aged 17. I used it for a 18 months and got quite lean. At Uni l did weights and played rugby. Ive continued weight training for decades but at 60 ive now got back, neck and knee pain. I found an old bullworker at a church jumble sale and its like being 18 again ( if only). But it still gives a good workout and i also use resistance bands. What a durable product bullworker was. The one i currently have is late 70s as far as i can research. It works like new.
Love to hear it!
I also started with the Bullworker when I was 13 or so! (48 years old now.) I think I should get one again! Thanks for the motivating story. Oh, and I definitely remember that famous ad. :)
Thanks for sharing. You will not regret it, we stand by that :)
funny how you are the 2nd person I have heard say they kick off their day with no social media exposure ; first being my barber . Secondly, stressed by all successful people & motivational speakers to start the day early. Something else I have put into my regime . Thanks for sharing all the positivity .
Bullworker is a legendary piece of equipment
I was skinny in my 25th year of age; bullworker helped me gained some muscles and strength.
I have the same Bullworker since the early 1970's, am a similar age. Exercised regularly for decades. I even have the infra red sauna. What I don't have is your physique. Well done man!
Keep up the great work!
The new X5 Pro is a great compiment to your weight training!
Awesome story! It’s good to see you are still in great shape.
Nice! I'm still using my X5 to this day.
Fun story, thank you for sharing!
The old one still looks 35:27 35:27 like new! Anyone who feels real strength is vital for success in sports should have one. Helps to built powerful muscle tissue especially in your teens which will last a lifetime ..imo
Loved reading this. Thank you for sharing! Convenience is key in making it happen. Keep Charging!
@@Bullworker building some future professionals. I am going to be their agent!
I ordered my Bullworker (with brown handles and red indicator ring) from a magazine ad in 1975, when I was 14. I used it intermittently over the decades, and have been using it regularly again over the last year. It is still like new.
Built to last!
Inspirational , Clark.....I love The Bullworker....my first piece of fitness equipment, too....keep it up .....regards from South Australia.
Got my Bullworker in 78’ and used it going overseas on ships when I couldn’t get to a gym and the results were amazing and still have it!!
Love to hear that!
@@Bullworker ❤️
Still got my bullworker, same as the old one you have. Great video.
Period. 😊😊
Fun story! Green or brown handles?
I remember this ad! Loved it! Wow didn’t know that was you
I have the exact same bullworker as shown in the beginning, but mine still has the original plastic scale which is completely unnecessary and probably the reason why it got removed. It's a bit longer than the other two vintage bullworkers I have. Interesting to hear it's from 1975 (or earlier), it still works fine 👍
Good fun, they are built to last. Keep Charging!

Do you think it is better to use rapid contractions or hold for 7, 10, or 15 seconds on one contraction?
It depends. We think the biggest bang for your buck is the isometric hold. However, adding slow conrolled reps is a great bonus.
14:40 "So, then...I was like...I wonder if bullworker is still around?"
That's exactly what came to my mind 20 mns ago. I googled bullworker and I saw they were selling some on Amazon. Then I went to youtube and found this video 🙂
My oncle had one in the mid 80s when I was a kid. And I don't know if it was thanks to Bullworker or if it was purely genetics but I once realized he had a big biceps pick when he was scratching his head. And I said: "Wow uncle, your bicep is sooo big!", that made him laugh 😁
Today, I was thinking I'm fed up with gyms and I can't have a home gym so I need a device that could help me keep in shape and that's when Bullworker came to my mind.
I just wondered if it was really effective, so after I found it still exists, I thought I should watch some youtube videos to see what people say about it
Fun story, thank you for sharing! What are you thinking/deciding?

I will. Thanks.
Is this better than pushup and bench, the reason I ask isy traps get hit and there to big so iam trying to avoid trap dominant involvement
Fun problem to have. Yes, this will hit your chest effectively. It is different than a pushup and more like a chest fly.
Great story
Why doesn't your customer service department respond at all when I use the Contact Us form to ask questions about what product to buy? Makes me concerned about what kind of customer service I would receive.
That is strange, we must not be receiving your inquiry. We certainly pride ourselves on customer service. Please shoot us an email at info@bullworker.com
To tell you the truth. You don't need any free weight training with the bull worker. Bull worker is so taxing on the muscle that free weights becomes obsolete. Free weights are not good for joints or tendons. Bullworker will indeed make your joints, tedons, ligament way stronger than weights and way healthier for you
I got an isobow - great for definition , strength and conditioning .
74 and still have my bullwoeker
I'm older and much fatter than Clark, and I'm gonna try this thing I never bought but always knew about.

I don’t think you look like that because you’re photoshopped but I do think you look like that because you juiced for it. Regardless, still a good video. Lots of quality history and info.
How do you look so young bro ❤ I’m 39 but can learn much from you I mean I look young like every day but still wow you look best

Not sure...
Imma get me a bullworker ❤
great
The bullworker was Tracy's I sold it to Ed . Wow clark memory's..
Bruce lee got one in his office. I saw in his picture
i think this is a great ad and makes me want to buy a bullworker one day (though i already own a ton of other fitness equipment, i can still probably fit a bullworker in there for variety). however, what i didn't like was this guy seems a bit narcissistic. like in this video he claims 'nobody else has ever achieved as much in the fitness world as me'. yet he doesn't even have a wikipedia page, never won a bodybuilding contest, his claim to fame is he was on the cover of 100 fitness magazines and was in a famous fitness ad. so he was a fitness magazine and advertisement model back in the day. not to downplay that, as that's still a pretty nice thing, but that isn't really an accomplishment worth that level of narcissism or claiming that he's done more than anyone else in fitness. there are people who accomplished much more who are more humble (like dan john, who is of similar age, invented the goblet squat, helped start kettlebells becoming popular in the west, and was a champion discus thrower and still holds records in it. look at his videos and he's nowhere near as braggy as this guy.) i think it's nice to be proud of one's accomplishments. but don't overplay them and say they are better than everyone else's. he's really saying he's accomplished more than arnold? then why isn't he a household name? do good things, be proud of them and don't hide them, but don't be like 'well haven't you heard, i'm the best there's ever been...'
Let's talk. I have a similar story.
So...they lied in an ad?
Oh the horror!

A matter of seconds. A lot easier than taking weight off racking, clipping, adding weight, grabbing dumbbells, etc.

This is really sad.
So...the EAS ad is a total con job that this guy participated in...and we are supposed to trust him? 😂
And the guy is in a room full of weights and machines...l guess they are just a warmup before his bullworker workouts.

Probably because he specifically claims to be completely natural in this video?
TRT×10...at least
Copycat?
