I would like to see more Nissan Titan stuff
🤔..... Things that make me go hmmm. LIFT IT!!! Much love to Custom Offsets tho. Do nice work 👍
Good job looks clean
I have a 2017 Titan half ton w/ the same 20x9 0 offset w/ 285/55/20 Toyos and they don’t rub except slightly full crank reverse. Did have to remove mud flaps though. Only did RC 2” level on front.
any idea how to change tire size in ecm setting for titan XD 5.0 diesel ?
I have 35 12.5 x 20 on mine and shocks were replace then started to rub I ended up getting an alignment and adjusting the camber I’ll let you know what the results are I’m in the shop waiting room now
So instead of getting a leveling kit, we are going to cut on our brand new truck! GENUIS
Lol
I put a 2" lift and leveling kit on mine and still rubs
Cutting literally affects nothing. Level affects ride quality
They way I see it is the front has to be lifted 3 inches to avoid the rub my titan is level with 33x20x12.5 and it rubs
Y'all are like surgeons with a sawzall haha
Thought on lifting a single cab titan cummins? Rwd too...? I got one but im skeptical about lifting it to just put rims... id rather get beefed up rims instead... thought on what i should do? Not many lifted single cab titans xd out there so dont know about the looks...
All personal preference David!
Can you do a shit i never knew Tire width vs rim width and why its probably a bad idea to run a wide tire on a skinny rim?
Not a bad idea John! I'll forward to the media team!
20x9 Zero Offset. 305/55/20.. 2" level and this same cutting will do the trick! thanks!
Nice hack job
Love my XD
Nice wheels but I would not cut my truck up like that.
Good thing this isn't your truck then.
+18 offset and small lift could probably run those with no cutting
They did a great job and it looks clean. Doesn't hurt anything!
This video is super insightful, I’m currently stuck between ford and Nissan and I eventually wanna go 37’s on 18’s and now I’m thinking they set up might not be possible without major cutting or mods
If you have any questions email us at info@customoffsets.com!
I had 37/13.50/18 Toyo MT’s on mine with a Rough Country 6” and I only trimmed down my pinch weld a little to fit with no rubbing 🤷🏽♂️
Would putting just a 2” level made it so you wouldn’t of had to trim?
Would of trimmed alot less Rob!
I bought the EXACT SAME TRUCK shown here Texas addition, color, etc. I just can't come to grips to cut my truck up and remove protection liners in the fenders. With that said I just want a level kit. Anybody recommend a good one?? I heard from a custom shop that does the dealerships custom stuff that Rough Country cuts corners with their designs on lifts and level kits.. Any good one out their with true level??
They don't cut corners. They're a budget friendly lift/leveling kit company! So with that in mind, you do get what you pay for. But it definitely does its job! Check out our leveling kits here Drew - bit.ly/2yGe8su
Got it! Appreciate the link. I think I might go with the Pro Comp that lifts the front 2 1/4". Keep the videos coming!
Did this person not want to do at least a 2" level. Seems like it would've helped a bit
Correct, stock height Walter!
I’m running the non XD. I put a 3” lift on it. Which set it up to the height of the XD stock (leveled). I was able to fit 285 60 20s on mine with no running or cutting. Which is a 33.5 x 11.50. That’s on factory rims. I don’t know if it’ll work on 0 offset. I’m thinking of adding a 1.25” spacer. Which I’ve heard will push it to 0 offset. I have the midnight edition and actually really like my rims. Do y’all know if that 1.25” spacer will push it to 0?
Please send an email to info@customoffsets.com and they should be able to get you a rough estimate of how much offset it would equal!
yes and cause the rubbing issue., currently try to solve this issue with out lifting too much.
If it had a icon 3inch lift would you have to trim the fender like that?
So long as you didn’t run that offset you would be fine. I’m running 305/65/18 18offset with no rub and height adjustable strut.
No offense, but that is the dumbest damn thing to do to a truck (IN MY OPINION). They make leveling kits for a reason. If the guy doesn’t like the level look or tows heavy loads and doesn’t want the front end looking at the sky. He should of just put a 2 inch level and add a leaf or simple block in the rear to keep the stock look but give it more clearance for aftermarket wheels. Although I am impressed how clean you guys made that look. Well done
P.S- absolutely love the content, helped me decide on my wheels and tire setup, keep up the good work.
Jakerton97 _ leveling kits are shit and only the poors use them, it’s a great way to destroy components and get poor fuel economy. A lift is way better and a leveling kit is not a lift.
@@irishsavage8715 Wrong!! This is just your personal opinion..and it sucks. Lol
Anyone knows if 20x12 with 33s will fit with a 2inch level kit?

What is the cost to do this same trimming? Price-range?
Your best bet would be to ask your local shop, but if you would like us to do it at our shop in Appleton, WI you can send an email to info@offsetsgarage.com and they should be able to get you a rough estimate!
Nice
Can u fit 35x12 with level kit?
Check our gallery out for fitment help! bit.ly/2DgLW0N
Despite the good work CO does i think the owner should of leveled it up, for better look, avoid trimming cuz it looks like it is gonna tear off the rear flare on when he hits bumps..
I just leveled mine. and still have a rubbing issue. unfortunately nissan xd wheel wells are taller than wide and the stock wheels are very recessed too. that portion to be trimmed
needs like a two in lift over level to get the rub points above the equator or axle point of the wheel. truck build is fine but the design doesn't promote and easy over sized tire fit. Nissan has always been bad at this, bumms me out cause I'm a Nissan fan.
Yeah, it clears sitting still on level ground. Pull in a driveway or hit a rut while turning, it will RIP the inner fender out.
not the fender but the cabin seam. tear up new tires.
Those wheels are sick
Cut It Up, And Ask Questions Later
Nissan trying something new with the Cummins. Rumor was GM offered to buy them out in 2016 and run the Titan on GM platform. I'm glad that didn't go through.
501 N 503
Not sure where you heard that, but completely untrue. Speaking of gm,. In 2019 they will offer a 4 cylinder in there full sized trucks! LMFAO!!!
its dodge Nissan may partner up with, Nissan used a ram truck as a model for their 2017 titan.
Everyone recommending a leveling kit acting like it won't rub while turning into driveways or off-road while the suspension is flexing
Holy fuck put a leveling kit on it and be done with it..that would be the day I start hacken my brand new truck so it can rust apart..especially where I live in northern Canada the roads have more salt then the ocean
This never finishes saying a word before he starts saying the word after it. Like one big run on sentence.
Mine fit 33 with no trimming at all stock?
All depends on wheel width and offset!
What setup are you running?
Im not saying you cant trim your truck up to prevent rub, but that was a hack job. Take your time and do it right and it will last much longer...Definitely not doing it this way on my titan. Especially just bashing the fender in with a hammer...
That is for sure STILL going to rub bad when turning at corners.
Or hitting a bump.
Just cut off pinch welds, they aren't important at all!!!!!
Good shop manager would uncharged a leveling kit instead of all that botching
When the customer is a payin, you shut your pie hole and grab the sawzall if that's what they want. Upselling does nothing but give your shop a bad name. You can "recommend" a lift but it has nothing to do with being a good shop manager
LMAO
You mean to tell me this bitch already rusting @ 7:56
I thought the same thing. I think it’s just mud?
Yea I noticed that spot too. I guess they get rust that early on vehicle up north, thank God I live in the south.
Wisconsin is absolutely terrible for vehicles rusting. They throw so much salt on the roads to help with melting snow and ice. I've seen vehicles 4 or 5 years old up there and the rockets panels are gone.
It's a 5/8 ton
There is no reason to cut the front bumper. I have a 2017 titan xd cummins and per the manufacture you cant put 35s with a 3 and 1 leveling kit. Oh... wait you can with out cutting just about anything. Instead of cutting the steel bumper, if you do it right you can readjust your bumper forward just enough and lower your skid plate. My offset running is 35x12.50x20 with almost no rub except on a full hard slow crank.
All depends on wheel width and offset, Brian. But you are definitely correct, there are multiple ways to make things fit!
@@CustomOffsetsTV I am on 20 x10's with a -25 offset. I have the first one in the Sacramento area with this build.
@@brianfrank5287 could you get rid of the rub
Cutting shit up just to fit bigger tires is so pointless to me
Just take the fenders off and hang black plastic so when you realize the new tires is hurting your mpg, wearing out suspension, the new tires have absolute shit lifespan and you get a little girlfriend that gets annoying having to get out and help her in 100 times a day you can put the shit back together like it was( lol all this my experience about 12 years ago with f150 7700)

nice job , but i gotta say the mud flaps look like dog meat.
Don't encourage this horrible truck fad. It's right up there with the "stance nation import bros"
Fukn terrible
